One evening, I was restless and began playing the computer keyboard like a piano, letting the onset of this story flow like a spontaneous melody. Up until then, I had only written screenplays, yet felt compelled to write God Must Be Weeping. I worked tirelessly to create a novel that would resonate with readers and draw them into a concerto of life on its heartstrings, pulsing with intermezzos of courage, passion, and the perils of war.

J.D. Winston has collaborated with other screenwriters and written screenplays, two of which have been optioned. J.D.'s manager is in talks with a production company regarding a television drama series that Winston wrote and created.
