On Curves

‘More than half of women hate the sight of their naked bodies.’ ‘The secrets of losing belly fat.’ ‘Sex moves that burn 400 calories.’ ‘By age 6, girls start to express concerns about their own weight or shape.’ ‘Only four per cent of women globally consider themselves beautiful.’ ‘By adolescence, studies show that young people are receiving an estimated 5,260 “attractiveness messages” per year from television commercials.’
These are just a few snippets of the headlines, adverts and news artic...

Review: Forever Bound

This is a great collection that features an awful lot of rope and a wide variety of stories that should provide something for anyone with any kind of interest in bondage. The plots generally revolve around the eroticism so the sexual tension is a driving force. The writing is invariably fluent and engaging throughout. It’s easiest to describe by what is not here – stereotypes of physical description, moments of confusion, clichéd characters. These stories strike a balance between being highly...

Review: Confessions of a Kinky Wife

I've just read Confessions of a Kinky Wife by Justine Elyot, and I couldn't put my ereader down. I read it on a Sunday morning when I had planned to go out for a run. Instead, I just kept on reading until I'd devoured the whole book.
It’s highly readable, with a realistic plot and characters and a constant simmer of eroticism. Dan and Pip are a normal married couple who enjoy a good sex life. But Pip has fantasies of being disciplined by her husband for her ‘misdemeanours’. The story follows t...

Victoria Blisse Talks Smut

Well, what a pickle. I've got Smut editor extraordinaire Victoria Blisse here today and I'm sure she'll be expecting cake. But I'm out! I'm over at Erzabet Bishop's blog with a mini interview of my seaside favourites. Big thanks to both of them.

Here, Victoria explains what she's looking for when she's choosing a hot seaside story:

What makes a good beach story?Lucy Felthouse and I have edited two volumes of Smut by the Sea now and I’d like to think we have managed to find some top quality piec...

Smut guest - Bel Anderson

I have fellow smut writer Bel Anderson with me for a virtual cuppa today, so over to her...
I’m thrilled to have a story, ‘The Beach House,’ in the brand new Smut by the Sea - available at All Romance, Amazon UK and Amazon.com.
The inspiration for the story came from two sources – the location was inspired by a childhood holiday and the male love-interest is pretty much based on my first ever lover.
When I was about seven years old, my parents, sister and I stayed in a holiday cottag...

Did someone mention cake?

Personally, I'm a fan of a nice moist carrot cake with a sweet cream cheese topping. Or a good old-fashioned scone with raspberry jam and clotted cream. Always served with tea. So it's a good job I keep going out visiting other lovely writerly folks for virtual baked goods.

I'm at fellow smut writer Jilly Boyd's place talking about Smut by the Sea and seaside inspiration. My mind flits from bondage under the pier to snoozing on a warm, grassy bank via the pervertability of lighthouse-shaped so...

Out now - Coming Together: With Curves

More exciting book release news. Coming Together: With Curves is out now and contains my story, Six Lengths of Red Hemp. And the fabulous thing is that by buying this book you're helping charity. So by reading smut you'll be doing your good turn for the day.

The anthology, edited by Lucy Felthouse and Victoria Blisse, is a collection of eleven stories featuring 'bold, brazen babes with dangerous curves'. All proceeds are going to Parkinsons UK.

As well as stories by Lucy and Victoria, you've go...

Out visiting

Happy bank holiday to the Brits. I hope you all get chance to enjoy the sunshine we've waited so long for. I certainly made the most of a free weekend by climbing a big hill, swimming in a very cold mountain lake, drinking real ale and eating fish and chips by the seaside. Yes, that is the lake and, yes, that is snow on the mountain.

I'm visiting fellow Smut writer Bel Anderson today to talk about my story in Smut by the Sea vol 2, with this little poser:

When I read Smut by the Sea volume 1 la...

Inspiration Calling by Kay Jaybee

I have the lovely Kay Jaybee with me today, so over to you Kay...
Thank you ever so much for inviting me to your great blog today Tilly!
One of the questions that I’m often asked is how, after so long writing erotica, do I keep finding the inspiration for my stories. To be honest, I actually have the opposite problem than you might imagine. I don’t find I run out of inspiration, but have so much my head is continually bursting with ideas I’ll never have time to follow up even if I wrote every d...

Out visiting

I'm over at Lucy Felthouse's place today, discussing why the seaside is so sexy over a virtual cup of tea, as we big up the fabulous Smut by the Sea vol 2.

The British seaside is a special case far removed from the shimmering seas and golden sands of Biarritz or the Caribbean. It is often cold and wet, grey sea blending with grey sky, while the ‘attractions’ tend to be a bit shabby and very tacky. You can’t even eat a bag of chips without aggressive seagulls trying to pinch them.Rea...
