Covers, DSP Publications, and yes I am Procrastinating

Sometimes when I look at covers for MMRomance novels…. I know you can’t judge a book by it’s cover, but there’s one reason I like DreamSpinner Press. They can produce some pretty nice covers, and authors have a say in how they want the covers to look like. I just hate ugly covers…I mean if I can do a better job, this really says something about how bad the cover is.

New Blog

My LJ is mostly used for posting friends-only updates for my WIP, fangirling over pairings, or ranting about/praising Chinese BL fiction I read, etc. This blog shall be for 裝逼ing, LOL. Whenever I want to pretend that I’m artistic, intelligent, or doing my job as an author, I will post the pretentious stuff to this blog. I am in no way an authority who can talk about how to write or whatever =P

I just had to translate this after I saw it on weibo here. These are shots from a pretty old HK Drama called "洛神" (Where The Legend Begins), which was filmed in 2002. I never watched the drama before but these screenshots seriously cracked me up, lol.



(I translated the first sentence as "sir", though the actual pronoun was san-gongzi)
