United: On Preorder
The news has been out for a while, but just in case you missed it, United, book 2 of Pack of Dawn and Destiny is available for pre-order, and launches January 14th–that’s this Friday! Down below is the brand new description, so if you haven’t read Hunted yet, STOP READING NOW! (Also, reminder, the entire Hall of Blood and Mercy Trilogy is on sale now! Check out this post for details!)

A wolf is attacking the humans of Timber Ridge and changing them into werewolves—against their will.
The change process is extremely dangerous and involves bloodshed. It isn’t something that happens by mistake, which can only mean one thing.
Someone is doing this on purpose.
I’m going to find the rampaging sicko, even if it means I have to master my new magic to stop them.
Thankfully, Greyson—the Pack Alpha and the most powerful wolf in the Midwest—is always down for a hunt. The only problem is that I’m starting to find him attractive—which is the worst thing I could do. He’s got an incomplete mate bond, and since I’m a hunter, I could never be a wolf’s mate.
That’s okay. I’m used to being alone. I’m a werewolf hunter—not part of the Pack. But that’s an awfully dangerous place to be when there is a rogue wolf on the loose.
That’s all for today! Thanks for reading!

Gift #4: Goose Girl
Merry Christmas, Champions!
I’m following my annual tradition of offering my novella, Goose Girl (Entwined Tales #1), for free! You can grab it today, December 23rd, through December 27th!
Amazon.com | All Other Amazon Stores
As a royal lady’s maid, Rynn has one task: Escort the princess of Astoria to her intended’s kingdom and return home. Unfortunately for the former goose girl, the princess has other plans.
When her charge flees, Rynn’s not only forced to take the princess’s place, but she must also contend with a spiteful fairy horse, a good dose of political intrigue, and Conrad…the mysterious and all-too observant lord who consumes more of her thoughts than he should.
But with war looming on the horizon, Rynn stands to lose more than her heart. Can she convince the princess to return, end the charade, and make peace between the kingdoms?
More importantly, can she possibly avoid a death sentence when the truth is revealed?
Snag a copy for yourself, and pass the news along to anyone you think would enjoy this novella! (Important spoiler for those familiar with the original version of this fairy tale….Falada lives!)
To spread the Christmas Cheer even farther, the five other novellas in the Entwined Tales series are all sale as well! Each book is 99 cents, so if you love this series, now is your chance to grab them all at this discounted price!
Merry Christmas, Champions, and Happy New Year! I hope you have a special and wonderful weekend, and thanks for reading!

Hunted: Available Now!
Today is the big day, Champions, Hunted–Book #1 of Pack of Dawn and Destiny–is available now to purchase or borrow from Kindle Unlimited!
Amazon.com | All Other Amazon Stores
I hope you enjoy it! I will be running my usual review special for this book, so once Hunted gets approximately 100 reviews I’ll release a special short story I wrote to celebrate the book launch! (This one is about Pip, Mama Dulce, and Papa Santos!)
Thank you so much for your honest reviews. They help me a lot as an author because there are certain kinds of advertising that have review thresholds, and they also help fellow readers figure out if the book is something they’d be interested in!
Whew, with all of that over, it’s time for the fun to begin! Enjoy the book! (Oh, and the Pack of Dawn and Destiny trilogy has a slew of character cameos from other Magiford books. Who did you see in Hunted?)

It’s a short but sweet post for today, Champions. I hope to see you tonight, and get ready to party with the Northern Lakes Pack!

Hunted Available for Preorder
Exciting news, Champions! Hunted: Pack of Dawn and Destiny Book 1 is available for pre-order!

Ever feel like you don’t belong?
Try being a hunter living with werewolves. I’m the definition of “doesn’t fit in”. I’m not Pack, but I’m not the enemy, either.
I struggle to survive among werewolves who are stronger and faster than me, and are competitive enough to break a bone or two for the sake of “fun.”
Greyson, their alpha, is the worst of them all.
Blatantly relentless and twice as deadly, Greyson rules the Pack and expands its territory even though it’s already the largest in the region. I just wish he’d stop interfering with my life. He’s got enough trouble of his own with his incomplete mate bond, but he’s made it his hobby to tease and test me at every opportunity.
Doesn’t my life sound fun?
When wolves from surrounding packs start mindlessly attacking the innocent humans in our city, Timber Ridge, everything changes.
Werewolves don’t turn feral without reason. Which means someone is making this happen, and they’re targeting our Pack.
I don’t like where this is going, but how am I supposed to stop a feral wolf outbreak when I’m just one hunter? Can Greyson and I set aside our differences to see the Pack through this?
Hunted launches December 17th, that’s this Friday! I can’t wait for you all to meet Pip and the rest of the Northern Lakes Pack–there are a slew of fun new characters! Until Friday, Champions, have a Deck-The-Halls December!

Christmas 2021: Gift #2
Let the Christmas fun continue! This week’s gift is for the Timeless Fairy Tale fans: A Beauty and the Beast coloring page!
Click here for a downloadable PDF
This gorgeous page was made by Olena Shkavron–she also made the Fairy Tale Enchantress coloring pages!
This marks the last coloring page gift for the year–but I wanted to say I’m hugely thankful to these artists so we still had something we could celebrate for these first two weeks. In a lot of ways, 2021 has been harder for me than 2020, but I’m so grateful for our community and for my team. Thanks for your support and understanding, and I hope you’re having a merry and bright December!
Thanks for reading–and urban fantasy fans, don’t worry, I haven’t left you out. Your gift is coming next week!

Trial of Magic Available in Paperback!
Fabulous news, Trial of Magic (The Fairy Tale Enchantress #4) is now available in paperback!
Amazon.com | All Other Amazon Stores
I owe a huge thank you to Meg–my rock-star-assistant–and DDD–the cover designer for the Fairy Tale Enchantress series for making this happen. Prepping Trial of Magic for paperback was pushed back when I had my surgery, but Meg and DDD pulled through and made it happen in a much shorter timeline than usual. Um…in fair warning…this book is so long it’s going to practically be a brick in printed form, so clear out some space on your shelves!
If you’re hoping to get this book in time for Christmas, I’d suggest you order as quickly as possible! Since Amazon prints my books, it sometimes takes longer for them to process the orders, especially during the holiday season. (I’m putting an order in myself, but since they’re very slow with author copies I’d be shocked if I got them by mid January. Thankfully it shouldn’t take nearly so long for you, Champions!)
That’s all for tonight! Thanks for reading, Champions, and stay tuned for more Christmas goodies and news about Pack of Dawn and Destiny!

Merry Christmas: Gift #1
December, my favorite month of the entire year, is finally here! I’m so excited!
For the newer Champions that have joined more recently, I am a holiday nut. Valentines, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, I love holidays! My most favorite of all, however, is Christmas! Usually I make it a huge deal for the community and set a lot of my books as free, but due to some health issues this year (you can read about them here–but don’t worry, all-in-all I’m okay) I’ve had to scale back my plans.
But I can’t let this month slip away without some sort of celebration, so let’s start the month off with my first gift: A Second Age of Retha Coloring Page!
Click here for a downloadable PDF that you can print off!
This coloring page was drawn by hend_draw, so a huge thanks to him–he really nailed Trash Panda’s innocent look while he stands with money he very obviously stole, hahaha!
Also, I posted the 2021 Character Interview in the freebie section of the website. I gave out the interview to the Champions who answered this year’s reader survey, so if you haven’t had a chance to see the interview, now you can!
Finally, I have some exciting book news to share! The first book in my new urban fantasy trilogy, Pack of Dawn and Destiny will release this month! The book is titled Hunted, and it’s about Pip and Greyson–you briefly met them in Leila’s series. Currently I’m hoping for a December 17th release date, but there’s no preorder up yet. (We’re still preparing for it!)
I have some other plans for this month but I’m dragging a little more than I expected from my first surgery, so I don’t want to give any dates until I know for certain how I’m doing. But thanks for reading, I hope you have a wonderous day!
