'Skin in the Game' Reading
Tito 'asked' me to remind you that I will be reading from 'Skin in the Game' at Peerless Books on Holcomb Bridge Road at 7 PM on Friday May 31. I told him that I had already posted this on my Goodreads blog and he just hiked his shoulders and said, "do what you're told, Finch, and no one gets hurt."

Paste Magazine Review of 'Skin in the Game'
'Skin in the Game' has received a review in Paste Magazine. Tito Venga seems pretty happy with it -- I overheard him telling Ball-Peen to nail a big star on his Toyland office door, "and don't you go calling me Boss no more, you gotta start using my initials." Here is the link:

Skin in the Game -- Book Clubs
I had the pleasure of speaking to my first book club last evening -- luckily Tito was 'busy' (I didn't ask) and so neither he nor Ball-Peen attended. They can be, well, disruptive.
If there are any other book clubs in the Atlanta area that are or will be reading 'Skin in the Game' and that would like me to attend, I would be pleased to do so.

'Skin in the Game' on Kindle
'Skin in the Game' is now also available as a Kindle eBook. Tito was a bit confused when he learned this, saying 'hey, Kindle is what you bring to your warehouse for a successful fire, am I right?'

Book Launch for Skin in the Game
So listen, my book launch on Saturday at Manuel's Tavern in Atlanta was very successful -- over 180 people attended and the representative from A Cappella Books in Atlanta sold out. I didn't mention the launch earlier because, well, Tito Venga wasn't invited -- I just couldn't take the risk...

New Review of Skin in the Game
Tito Venga has a theory that you better click on the link, "if you know what's good for you." Not sure what he means by that...

Skin in the Game Giveaway
The 'Skin in the Game' Goodreads Giveaway has ended and copies will be sent out this week to the five winners, although all 406 entrants are winners in my book -- if not of my book.
Tito Venga says, "You gotta love the Giveaway, am I right or what? Plus which, the 406 of ya's what entered, you done good. I got no beef with you whatsoever."

'Skin in the Game' Signing and Reading
I will be reading from Skin in the Game and signing books on the evening of May 31, 2013 at Peerless Books in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Tito Venga suggests that you be there "if you know what's good for you, I'm just saying."
I created this character, but that doesn't mean that I can control him. I'm just saying.

Skin in the Game
My debut novel, Skin in the Game, is about Wall Street lawyers, mobsters, CIA agents, strippers and, of course, quantum physicists. It is about striving -- to succeed in a huge legal institution with clouds of family history or ethnic background hanging over one's head, to overcome embarrassing psychological obstacles to romance, to put a business deal together that advances cutting-edge technology while having to rely on underworld characters with their own agendas. And yes, it is also a comedy.
Skin in the Game was just published late this month, March, 2013, by Livingston Press.
