ALLi Interviews Me
Hi, y'all!
I've been interviewed by Howard Lovy of the Alliance for Independent Authors. The show will go up on 6/2 sometime, I don't know when (it's pre-recorded). Have a chance, take a listen!

Aaannd...We're Live!
The Moreva of Astoreth has been released in audiobook format!
A real learning experience. But now that I know the basics of how the process works, I'm going to start producing audiobooks myself. And if I really take a liking to it, I can produce for other authors.
Here's to a new adventure!

Close to the Finish Line
The Moreva of Astoreth audio book is almost there. I don't know what I was expecting, but I didn't expect it to be hard work. It'll be fabulous, though.
Starting a Discord group for authors who write cross-genre, Tales From the Roads Less Traveled. It's not a place to bounce ideas, but to talk tactics. Marketing tactics, that is. At this time, there are several authors who want to be involved. That's great. I don't feel so alone, now.
Also building a new website. Boy, talk about being dragged kicking and screaming into the 20th century! It's something I need to learn though, and should've learned a long time ago. Better late than never, I guess!
See ya later, gators!

Audiobook Newbie
So, I've having The Moreva of Astoreth produced as an audiobook. Never done this before, and I'd no idea it'd be this much work. Granted, I'm not doing the heavy lifting. Still, it's more than I thought it would be.
Have edited 15 chapters, so we're halfway there. It's really different hearing your words through your ears rather than in your mind. Per instructions, I don't read the text as the recording moves along, just sit back and listen. And it's amazing what you pick up. Mispronounced words, of course. Then there's the missing words, nothing major, but your ear really picks them up. The pauses, too--sometimes they're too long, and it doesn't sound natural, like a long pause between "me, too."
I'm very pleased with the narrator. Her voice is rich, and she has an amazing range. The male lead has a gravelly, baritone voice. Obviously, her voice doesn't go that deep, but it's like a gravelly tenor. The female lead is a mezzo soprano and then there's everything in between. You can easily tell which characters are speaking.
Really looking forward to hearing the finished product!

Audio Production
The Moreva of Astoreth's journey to the spoken word continues. I should get Chapter 1 for my review within the next few days. The narrator is a British woman with a phenomenal voice--rich and powerful. Can't wait!

The Moreva of Astoreth Update
So, I've received 6 of 7 editorial reviews I can use for pull quotes. All are stellar...wow. Really wasn't expecting that.
Feeling emboldened, I've entered my book into every competition I could find that isn't a scam. Just waiting for Ben Franklin to open for submissions. Wish me luck!

The Moreva of Astoreth: Pre-Publication Review
Releasing on 1/5!
Nice comment from a reviewer:
"Bland may well be the Alice Walker of science fiction."
Humbled to be in such rarified company!

Release Day Jan. 5! ARC Readers Wanted!
The Moreva of Astoreth is almost ready to fly!
I decided to rewrite it, and it's a deeper, richer story. Working on the final edits.
I'm looking for more ARC readers, too! DM me if interested.
