One Winter Day

Hey friends! It's actually cold outside! I know for many of you, being cold at this time of year isn't anything new, but here at Auburn, where we pretty much live in eternal summer, this is a pretty big deal. In fact, it was actually supposed to snow yesterday, something which is nearly unheard of. And speaking of snow, I just finished another chapter of the new Adam Crescent book where Adam and his friends, new and old, are traveling through a snowstorm! We've seen the summer/fall side of Fallador, so brace yourselves for a bit of a wintry edge as Adam comes upon his first complete year in his exciting new world. In other news, I'd really like to say thank you because of the reception Razorwolf has received. I've often been told that first novels don't do as well as one would hope, but such has not been the case! You've all been terrific and the glowing things I've heard about the book have made me really appreciative of this emerging fandom (and speaking of which, we really need to come up with a name for ourselves!). Trust me, your feedback makes me want to write you even better tales.

At the moment, I've been sitting in my lovely, plushy blue chair reading Calvin and Hobbes comic strips, and I can't say I know a better way to spend the morning than with the antics of those two! Other than that, I've been working hard at my classes, a lot of which are science-based because of my recent decision to pursue veterinary medicine. No worries! I'll still be able to write! All I can say at this point is that the future is looking so bright that I'll probably need to invest in a pair of shades.
