Liberty2
Liberty is the mind unconfined.
It is the right to decide
Whether to remain at home, alone,
Or go outside
To walk,
Or talk
With friends.
Liberty has no ends
(Other than its own).
It is the right to be left alone
(Providing one respects the liberty
Of others to live free
Under law,
Where the states claw
Remains sheathed,
Save in case of direst need).
Yet we
Know not
What
It is to be
Free,
Until we are not.
Liberty
Some say
That liberty,
To be
Free,
Is an abstract concept.
But, when it is taken away,
I suspect
That even the stupid may
Know what it is to be,
Free

A Young Lady Who Calls herself Fiona
A young lady who calls herself Fiona
Comes from the beautiful isle of Iona.
In her choice of profession
She showed absolutely no discretion,
So her mother she completely disowned her!
There is Something Poignant About the Sunshine
There is something poignant about the sunshine.
A girls soft kiss
Is divine.
The bliss
Of fingers
That linger,
Intertwined in mine.
The light lingers,
A girls fingers
Still intertwine.
The night breeze
Will freeze
This heart
And art
Of mine.
A Young Lady Dressed in Stilettos and Socks
A young lady dressed in stilettos and socks
Said, I am extremely fond of grandfather clocks.
And, if I had the time
Id write many a great rhyme,
And Id wear more than stilettos and socks!.

I Heard A Click of Heels
I heard a click of heels,
And thought of skin,
Slippery as eels.
I heard a knocking in the night
And thought how thin
Is the material separating one from
The delight
Of sin.
Virtue wears the same, Boring
Old smile.
She will have you snoring.
But sin, she has style!

Meanings
Over time
Visitations of the divine
Turn stale,
Leaving pale
Ghosts, lost, in rhyme.

Quick, give me a kiss,

But I must leave by 2!.
Value Added Tax (VAT) to be scrapped on e-books in the UK from December 2020
Today (11 March), the UK Chancellor announced in the Budget that from December 2020 Value Added Tax (VAT) would be scrapped on e-books and online newspapers. Currently (in the UK) print books are zero rated, whilst e-books attract a VAT rate of 20percent. So, from December of this year, print and electronic books will both be zero rated.
At this juncture it is not clear whether audio books will also be zero rated. The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) has asked for clarification...
