There Was A Young Lady of Sri Lanka

There was a young lady of Sri Lanka
Who, being unable to master the Japanese tanka,
Composed a fine sonnet
Whilst Wearing a bonnet
As she danced on a large oil tanker!

The Future of the Audio Book

An interesting article on the future of audio books, https://goodereader.com/blog/audiobooks/audiobooks-ai-and-humans-where-do-they-stand.

Will AI (artificial intelligence) replace human narrators as the technology grows ever more human-like? AI is much cheaper than employing a human narrator.

The author of the article speculates that books narrated by humans may become a more expensive niche market while the majority of audio titles are narrated by artificial intelligence.

As a registered b...

A Young Lady Who is Sometimes Sporty

A young lady who is sometimes sporty
Has a reputation for being very naughty.
When on the field
All the men yield,
But sometimes she likes to be sporty …

There Was a Young Man Named Ray

There was a young man named Ray
Who composed a fine poem each May.
For the rest of the year
He was drunk on strong beer.

When a Gorgeous Young Lady of Leeds

When a gorgeous young lady of Leeds
Said, “you men all have your needs …”.
I said, “I like an adventure
But this is a shopping centre,

Is a regular at a certain church.

There Was a Young Man Named Dunn

There was a young man named Dunn
Who decided to fly to the sun.
But going off course
He encountered a horse
Who said, “that just can’t be done!”

A Shiver, a Sigh, a Smile: Audrey Driscoll’s Review of Leaving and Other Poems by K Morris

I was delighted to receive a 4 star review of my recently published collection Leaving and Other Poems:

The brevity and conciseness of these poems make this book perfect for readers looking for philosophical g...

Leaving and other poems by Kevin Morris

My thanks to Hannah for reading and reviewing my recently released poetry collection Leaving and Other Poems, which is available from Amazon in Kindle and paperback.

Echoes In An Empty Room

A collection of poems touching on the brevity of life, and the ever-present figure of Old Father Time. Also, sprinkled throughout are a number of humorous verses, some of which may remind the reader of Edward Lear.

My Thoughts:

I love it when Kevin Morris brings out another poem book, I alw...
