The Awe in Zebra Crossing

IMG_6391.JPG

It’s very interesting to wait at the zebra crossing for the sign to be changed to green and allow you to cross the road. The interesting thing is that when you are standing over there and watching the traffic moving in front of you, it feels like you have the power to allow them to move in front of you and when the sign turns into red for the traffic and green for the people waiting to cross the road also tells that you have the power to stop the traffic in order you to walk through the road...

Volunteer for the Job

Say, “Yes, I’ll be there for you.” Show up, ready for anything. Put your heart into it. This is how people begin to fall in love with you and you with your work.

Volunteering by your own is a good deal and if someone does it often, he gets the benefits often. No matter how hard or easy to do something, if you are willing to do it, you’ll do it.

Lazy thinkers usually miss their chances of volunteering and they then think that they didn’t get the chance. But it’s actually wrong. People who get...

Another Year Has Been Gone

It’s time to say goodbye to the year 2015 and time to welcome the new year 2016. I feel blessed to have this year lived with its full veracity and I enjoyed it and I thank God for it. My hopes for the coming year are high in order to maintain the peace in my surroundings and I pray for God’s continuous blessings upon me, upon my family and upon my friends.

We are Unique – A Philosophical Piece

How and why was the body made, the way it was? Who thought of it and why? How did it respond to all the varied and almost abnormal behavior of its being? We have no answers. We have no explanation. We have no analysis, which is why we are unique!

And look how we destroy ourselves in the run for explanation, the run for life and the run for possession. Possession of not materialism, but of method. Possession not of space and domination, but of insinuation. Every one of us has countless encoun...

What Creeps into an Artist’s Mind

Appearances before the public are very frightening for artists. Particularly, when asked to perform or present or speak on occasion. The thought of not being misjudged, of not making error, of wanting to engage and leave soon, is something what creeps into an artist’s mind.

Artists crave for recognition but when it comes to them, they feel shy. Shy, because they never believed that this could happen, and what would the audience really be thinking.

It is not an easy task to present yourself....

The Grace of Pen and Paper

In today’s times, the joy of writing has been completely transformed from pen and paper to square box typing devices. Sometimes, I wonder that the sound of scraping paper with a fountain pen or with a lead pencil was so ingrained in the school days. Today, my notebook and pen look at me every day and night beg me to put them up and enjoy the old-fashioned expression of writing.

That was the time when we humans had great relationship with the pen and paper and due to this relationship we used...

The urge for immediate repair

The urge to seek immediate repair in the state, ends both lives. The life of the victim and the life of the guard. Submission to the care is worth the rescue, not doing so may end in tragedy for both.

Perfection is a dead end

If at base what we most want is to be loved, then why don’t we all just love each other? Are killing our enemies and accumulating wealth not poor substitutes for the kind of happiness we could have if we did that?

Depression is the result of holding back your thoughts and don’t go forward with what you are thinking of. We hold back our thoughts and ideas and give doubts more space to reside in, which eventually results in high amount of depression causing some people to reach an extent that...
