What’s next!
Omg…the next book is so good, so much fun, and so is the cover! Julie Bell is cooking up something awesome. I’ve seen the sketches (spoiler: Sentinel and Raine). I’m having so much fun writing this one. Sometimes I feel like I’m just transcribing, and that’s when I know it’s going to be really, really good. The characters just take over, and that’s how it should be. Be patient–it won’t be long. No more long breaks, back on a regular schedule!
Also, since we now have some really stellar artwork, probably going to be some merch coming your way, so stay tuned! Going to go out on a limb and say that, recently, we have some of the “Best. Covers. Ever” in this genre. If you have some ideas of what you would like to see, feel free to let me know by email or any way you can. Cheers!

Audiobook!
The first audiobook of many, “The Dragon’s Lover” is now available on Audible and will be available on Amazon and iTunes within a matter of days. So if you’d like to hear the book read in a sexy British accent, want to listen to it on long country drive, or have that friend who “just doesn’t read,” go check it out!

Finally…a map
Hopefully everyone had glorious holidays and is looking forward to 2021. It didn’t start out as good as it could have, but here’s to it only getting better.
FYI, the audiobook version of “The Dragon’s Lover” should be available within the next week. I’ll post additional information and links when it happens.
And in response to NUMEROUS fan requests, a map of Arianthem is in the final stages. Once finished, I’ll post it here and on the website, and it will be included in all future books. If you’ve purchased the Kindle versions of the books, you can simply re-download them and it will reflect the updates.
Happy 2021!

Another teaser
Have you ever been on a long, cross-country trip and thought, “Wow, I wish I could be listening to the Chronicles of Arianthem?” Or been sitting in your car, stuck in commute traffic on your way home from work, thinking, “It sure would be nice to end my day with some Chronicles of Arianthem.” Or even been out on a long walk, musing, “Wow, this would be so much better with some Chronicles of Arianthem!”
If, so, I have some good news for you. Yes, the oft-requested audiobooks are coming. I’ll have more updates soon, but I just wanted to give you a little taste of the many things that are coming your way. Thanks for being such great fans!

A sneak peek

A look at the original painting completed by the fabulous Julie Bell, giving “The Sjöfn Academy” the cover it deserves. The new cover should be available within the next couple days, so you can either re-download it if you already have a Kindle copy, or buy yourself a present and pick up the paperback. It’s really beautiful, and holding it in my hands just makes me smile.

Dancing with the Devil
I’m sure most of you will think this post has something to do with a waltz with Hel–as it should. But it’s more about my love/hate relationship with social media (mostly hate), and my forthcoming attempt to overcome that dislike to engage more directly with my readers. For years I’ve let the series putter along on autopilot, and it’s still managed to gain a respectable audience and some seriously awesome fans. So time to put some effort into this, because “The Chronicles of Arianthem” deserves more than my bi-annual blog post.

As many of you know, I’m actually pretty good at responding to email, but that’s so last century. It’s not that I’m a luddite, I love technology. It’s that email provides a safety barrier for a very introverted person. Soooo…I’m willing to start bringing that barrier down. Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads, Amazon Author, that’s where I’ll start, then slowly add to my repertoire with other platforms. So if you’re on any of those platforms (or reading this from one now), post, ask me questions, send me messages, whatever you feel up to. I promise I will be more responsive.
And now the good stuff. I have some seriously great news I’ll release over the next few weeks. I just want to tease it here, but some things I’m genuinely excited about. So stand by–there’s some fun coming!

Thank you!
To all of you crazy people who have already read the book–thank you. You are what keep me going, keep me writing, and make me smile.
The number one question I am already being asked is, when is the next book coming out? The good news is that there will be no more multi-year delays. The next book should be out early 2021. I’m also being asked how many books are in the 2nd Chronicles, and my guess is it will be similar to the first, which was eight.
To all of you, thank you for your patience, and thanks for being fans!

Today is the day
So, after several years of promises, I have finally fulfilled them. I hope you enjoy The Dragon’s Night!
