Summertime is LIVE!
Hi Friends!
I get giddy about summertime. I suppose it's from growing up in California and loving those sunny days and then moving to Minnesota where the winters are grueling and long...but summer feels extra special now! I started writing Summertime (and posting it on Kindle Vella, where it still is if you'd rather read it there, by the way) during the winter months when I needed to visualize those perfect carefree summer days to stay sane in the cold. And now here we are—I'm having my early morning coffee on the porch swing enjoying the sunshine, my son is out of school (yay!), and Summertime is LIVE! I've added a lot to the book since it was published on Vella and fallen even harder for these characters if that's possible. It was such a fun book to write. There's a lot of drama and emotion, loads of chemistry and some angst, and it FEELS like a beach read. So, grab a cold beverage, step outside or somewhere cozy, and meet the cast in Summertime. Then there’s Hudson Callihan, the hot up-and-coming director working with my dad. He’s everything I think I want in a guy. What starts out as a friendship becomes a secret relationship, and I fall hard.
Things become complicated with Hudson when I’m thrown into a fake relationship with Liam to soften his scandalous reputation. And living on set with both guys and the crew is becoming more and more difficult.

He allows his words to sink in, and I want to ask exactly what he means by that.
He leans in like he knows what I’m thinking and whispers in my ear, “And I haven’t even put my best efforts in yet.” He takes a step back and his eyes are light. It’s impossible to look away. “Now that you’re free, maybe I’ll start…when you’re ready, that is.”
“What makes you think I will be?”
He puts his fingers on the pulse of my neck. “The way this is quickening right here. And the way we keep being faced with adversity and riding it out…together. I'm willing to keep proving myself."

Falling in Eden Excerpt
He grins against my lips. “Sweet Phina, so impatient.”
I’m afraid if we leave this room, he’ll snap out of whatever mood this room is creating, so I start loosening his tie right there. He surprises me by turning and leaving the room, and I tug his face to look at me, to please not let this moment go, and he doesn’t. He takes us to the bedroom that I fell in love with, the most beautiful one, and he lowers me reverently on the bed. I sink into the plush linens and gaze up at him, feeling drunk.
I don’t want to know what has changed his mind, why he’s okay with this now when he wasn’t before. I think he knows what’s happening is bigger than both of us. Still, he hesitates as he stands there staring at me.
“Please don’t deny me, Nial,” I whisper.
That seems to settle it for him. He undoes his tie and unbuttons his shirt. I lean up and undo his pants, and when his shirt is off, he takes my dress off, standing back up and looking down at me in awe.
“I don’t know how you could be any more beautiful than this moment, right here, right now,” he says.
“You’re the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen,” I tell him. “Angel,” I whisper.
His cheeks flush and when he leans over me, not letting any part of us touch except our mouths, my impatience takes over. I pull him on top of me and he laughs, but he doesn’t fight it.
“I’ve wanted this for so long, I can’t believe it’s finally happening,” he says, leaning up on his elbows, both hands on my face.
