I love dogs, music, movies, NYC, Hollywood and Brighton. I live with my partner and two dogs in London.

I enjoy celebrity, horror, religious and ancient fiction. By contrast I love feel-good comedies and anything sensational / contemporary fiction.

I enjoy books by Jackie Collins, Stephen King, James Herbert and JK Rowling. My guilty pleasures are the novels by Stephanie Meyer and Katie Price.

I also have a soft spot for historical fiction and anything involving the Tudor dynasty/Henry VIII/Elizabeth I, the Shardlake series by C.J.Sansom a particular favourite.

A weird dream of mine …

Ryan woke at 7am in the bustling call centre. It was busy… just like the entrance to a superstar concert.

He recognised Jayne, his mum’s best friend in the crowd. Hadn’t she died several years before? She was chatting animatedly to her husband, Jeff.

Hang on?

Hadn’t Jeff also died? Ok not so long ago… but of cancer? Ryan was almost sure.

He wished he had paid more attention to his mother’s phone c

“Eve took a bite from the apple, chaos ensued... earth became hell as heaven retreated behind an impenetrable veil.”
C.J. Blue

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of "A Course in Miracles"

“When you are relaxed about where you are at in life, things tend to flow more fluidly. It is as if you poke three holes in a bucket of water. The same amount of water is going to flow out the holes whether you let it flow or you shake the bucket. The difference is the amount of turmoil on the inside of the bucket!”
Jennifer O'Neill, Soul DNA: Your Spiritual Genetic Code Defines Your Purpose
