Robert Briffault: the reality of male-female relationships.

For a male and female to live continuously together is biologically speaking, an extremely unnatural condition. Robert Briffault

Robert Briffault (1876-1948) was a French surgeon who moved to Britain. His interest spread to anthropology and he later became a successful novelist. He was a polymath, a raconteur and a wit.

Below is Briffaults Law, which is one of the most important pieces of social anthropology youve never heard of.

Where the female can derive no benefit from...

Travestis and traviesas: in memory of Miriam Rivera

Earlier this year, one of the travestis best-known in the West, Miriam Rivera was killed in a manner as yet unknown. Miriam was a Mexican traviesa, similar to Brazilian travestis. In order to mark the passing of this beautiful but troubled individual, I am publishing this article about travestis and traviesas.

Who are the Travestis?

Travestis and traviesas are pre-operative or non-operative MtF transwomen; that is to say, they are feminised males who take hormones and have body enhancements,...

Baby Ladyboy by the beach at Subic Bay

On our last visit to Subic we chanced across a baby ladyboy, a batong bakla, called Maria. This is the interview we did with her and my thoughts.

Tarlac, June 2019. A videolog of a motorcycle trip

In June we took our motorcycle to Tarlac to visit Sam’s aunt. Here’s the video.

Due to the political shenanigans at YouTube, I am trying to duplicate all the videos hosted there here on this site as well as on others. It’s slow though, and there are over a hundred to do!

Transgender? Sex, Sexuality, Orientation and Gender

‘Transgender’ is a catch-all term that is used, today, to include all forms of  ‘Gender Non-Conformity’ or (better) ‘Sex Non-Conformity’. These are expressions in which individuals, for a variety of reasons, reject the social norms of dress and behaviour. Most ‘transgenders’ in the West today are in fact expressing fashionable youthful rebellion, just as hippies, punks, New Romantics and Emos did, in their turn.

However, there are some for whom this is a much deeper issue. Individuals of one...

Foucault, de Sade and Sex

Frenchman Michel Foucault (1926-1984) is one of the most important characters in the development of Cultural Marxism and through it, Identity Politics and the Social Justive Left. Normally considered to be a Postmodernist, Foucault mixes the ideas of his great heroes, Jean-Paul Sartre and the Marquis de Sade (1740-1816).

There is little good to say of Sartre, a typically French, bourgeois self-loather with a ghastly delight in his own wordiness, but I shall return to him in an...

Feminism promotes male transgenderism 1

Male non-homosexual gender dysphoria is being provoked by deliberate cultural stimuli that denigrate men and masculinity and promote women and femininity. Something is causing an uptick in it; while non-homosexual GD in women is actually increasing faster and in many ways is more worrying, there is still an unprecedented increase in the male form, AGP. This is the result of fifty years of feminism.

Some researchers have suggested that there might be an innate cause for AGP, but the characteri...

Baklas, sex and motorcycle maintenance

I’m at the local motorcycle repair shop where Sherwyn, a most competent mechanic and pleasant cove, is replacing a brake master cylinder on the Blaze. He first thought to replace only the seals, but he can’t find the right size. A new cylinder is 400 pesos, just under six quid, an unwell encephalopod. I just tell him to get on with it. Sherwyn works in the open space outside a motorcycle parts shop, where he seems to buy most of his stuff, although, as today, sometimes he has to go further af...
