I won't be blogging on Squarespace anymore

Just a quick note that I will no longer blog on this website until I complete my migration to Wordpress.com’s hosted services. I’ve detailed my reasons in my Jan 2023 Now update.

It’s going to be a long, involved process which will probably take me about 3 months or, hopefully, less.

Tai Tales - my Substack newsletter where I share essays, links, fiction. If you want to keep yourself up to date with all the con...

How Bella Zamri wrote a hit novel on Wattpad

Look what I found! An ancient draft that I somehow forgot about. Around 2016, I interviewed Bella Zamri for the Malaysian daily, The Star.

“Oh? What ap...

I loved the act of writing my tasks. My bullet journal was my life line. But the bullet journal stopped working for me when I changed jobs.

The bujo was great when I was a subeditor for a newspaper. My work w...

A new Google search update, another dance to the algorithm.

A friend and I were talking about how difficult it was to now find helpful, agenda-free content on Google. For example, google "should I use Wordpress?" and the top results are from...
