Anything Once by Meka James

“... a tasty look into the life of a married couple facing real life problems… and hot, sizzlin’ sexual explorations. As always, Ms. James delivers with her erotic scenes, and leaves you swoony-sighing over her romance.” ~ Amazon Review (Evie Drae)
“LORDY...... LORDY...... SWEET BABY JESUS!!!!!!! This story really hit home for me in so many ways I just couldn't put it down.” ~ Kaidan’s Seduction

MY REVIEW
Anything Once is much more than an erotic romance. Don't let the cover fool you.
That being said, I do really love that cover. It's stunning. This is the first book I'm reading from the author and I must admit, I really liked it. Especially, loved her writing style.
Anything Once focuses on a married couple Ian and Quinn, who are childless. Being married to Ian for over 10 years, Quinn thinks their relationship is going strong and steady, until she walks into Ian masturbating while watching porn. Self doubt and insecurities suddenly spread their ugly tentacles in her mind as she wonders what was wrong with their relationship.
Fortunately, Quinn after two weeks of silence, take that step to reach her husband and ask what she missed all along. Together they decide to explore their sexual life and the rest is for the readers to find out.
I love how the author captured the essence of relationships. She has addressed one of the important fact most of the married couples go through after a few years of their marriage.
The initial bliss of married life tends to get lost with how busy our lives are and when children and other responsibilities come along, many just go with the flow while struggling to catch up. Some couple stop to think what they've been missing and try to reignite the passion.
If you're in a relationship for so long and feel it's time to reignite that passion this book is definitely for you. It addresses the concern and I'm glad the characters have a positive approach toward the issue and I love how understanding they are with each other. Another thing I liked is the approach on women's self doubt and hesitation to explore certain things in their sexual life.
It's definitely worth the read. I'm looking forward to read more from this author. Cheers.

Review: Meant to be Kept
Meant to be Kept by Amelia FosterMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
An emotional read by Amelia Foster.
This is the first story I'm reading from this author. I was quiet vary of reading it because it tread over a sensitive topic. But I wasn't disappointed once I read.
Meant to be Kept focuses on couple Tanner and Izzy. Their married life is nothing short of love, but things take a turn when Tanner does something unacceptable in a drunken haze.
He returns home with a guilt that's eating him alive and the very foundation in which their relationship is built is put to a test. Izzy's unknown fear and insecurities suddenly bounce back up. She wonders what she had been missing all along.
Both Tanner and Izzy's love is told through multiple flashbacks as the couple analyze why it went wrong. Izzy is torn between love and hurt. Her past is making it harder to forgive her husband.
In this journey, they relive the past through memories, watching and analysing why their marriage had suddenly fell into a routine. She starts noticing things about her husband she had missed before.
Highly recommend this read.

COVER REVEAL - Fool's Errand by Ophelia Bell

Fool’s Errand
Ophelia Bell
(Fate’s Fools, #4)
Publication date: March 19th 2019
Genres: Adult, Paranormal, Romance
You never know what you’ve got until it’s gone. In my case that was literal – I had Ozzie West’s soul and didn’t know it, but now it’s been torn from me and I will never get him back.Goodreads
My heart is broken.
My three mates may try to fill that void, but they don’t understand what he meant to me. They can’t see the memories unlocked by Fate.
Only one man can help, but he’s the one man I can never trust again.

Author Bio:
Ophelia Bell loves a good bad-boy and especially strong women in her stories. Women who aren't apologetic about enjoying sex and bad boys who don't mind being with a woman who's in charge, at least on the surface, because pretty much anything goes in the bedroom.
Ophelia grew up on a rural farm in North Carolina and now lives in Los Angeles with her own tattooed bad-boy husband and four attention-whoring cats.

Despite the suspicions of the distraught parents, all the circumstances seem to confirm Rima’s death was indeed a tragic accident until another woman is also found dead in the town.
Frustrated by the lack of any real evidence, DS Pitt pushes the limits of legality in her quest for the truth.

Review: Magic and Memory Loss
Magic and Memory Loss by Eleanor RousseauMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
They say don't judge a book by its cover. But can you disagree the covers play a vital role in luring in the readers? I actually fell in love with this cover when I first saw it in a Facebook group. And the blurb was interesting.
While reading the book, I realized I'm starting with the 3rd book in the series and have no knowledge about the characters or the plot setting. But after a few chapters, I was able to relate and it was easy to follow.
The female character lost her memory and doesn't know who she was or what she is. She lives among the Paranormals like witches, warlocks and werewolves were she meets the mysterious Vincent and his kid. There is also Adam, who tries to seduce her with his magic.
While she like both men, she feels something intense with Vince. Could he be the key to her past? And she can't seem to connect the occasional dreams she's having. She can't tell apart if those were memories or just dreams. Only time and turn of events hold the answers to her questions.
What made the plot more interesting is to have a tiny teeny dragon, Trip. He's my favourite. No kidding. He's overly cute. And I'm glad he travels along with the characters throughout the plot and contributes well.
This story is an interesting read and I loved the action, especially in the climax. The sense of mystery surrounding the main characters were really good.
I'm looking forward to read more from this author.

Everything in him froze… then released in a pent-up laugh.
The woman driving a shiny new black Ford truck was gorgeous with high cheekbones and pouty lips. Her long hair was pulled back in a ponytail, so he couldn’t quite make out the color, but her appearance wasn’t what had made him laugh.
She was clearly enjoying a favorite song—singing and dancing for all she was worth, without a care in the world for who might be watching. He chuckled again as she did a little shoulder shimmy. Adorable was the word that struck him, and he was strangely affected, an instant attraction coiling inside in a way that surprised him.
He wasn’t an instant attraction kind of guy.
Suddenly, she glanced toward him and stilled as she discovered her audience. Her eyes went wide and she sent him a sheepish grin. He smiled back and pretended to tip an imaginary hat. However, instead of another smile, she went cold on him, eyes hardening, lips thinning. She whipped her head around to face forward, her chin in the air, and didn’t glance his way again. She definitely didn’t start singing again. Not that she would have had much time, because the light changed a second later.
She was quick to hit the gas, faster on the draw than Will, who was still blinking at her abrupt about-face. He almost expected her windows to frost with the drop in temperature in there. A flash of bright pink on her back window caught his attention as she drove ahead of him. For the second time in a handful of minutes, Will chuckled. The sparkly sticker on the back of her truck read Silly Boys, Trucks are for Girls. Lips tipped in amusement, he shook his head.
At the next light, she went straight when he turned, which meant she probably wasn’t there for the rodeo. He gave a mental shrug. Wouldn’t be seeing her again. Probably for the best, since he was here to work.

Author Bio:
Award-winning contemporary romance author, Kadie Scott, grew up consuming books and exploring the world through her writing. She attempted to find a practical career related to her favorite pastime by earning a degree in English Rhetoric (Technical Writing). However, she swiftly discovered that writing without imagination is not nearly as fun as writing with it.
No matter the genre, she loves to write witty, feisty heroines, sexy heroes who deserve them, and a cast of lovable characters to surround them (and maybe get their own stories). She currently resides in Austin, Texas, with her own personal hero, her husband, and their two children, who are growing up way too fast.
