Rebirth and Spirituality
As I gaze into my baby granddaughter’s eyes, I reflect on the similarities of birth and the renewal of spirituality in the world. Both require a certain amount of labor, the labor of spirituality often lies in the commitment to reading and educating oneself on new
information. Both take time, 40 weeks for a baby and it may be a lifetime of study for our spirituality. And both have an amazing, miraculous loving result! Of course, our baby and the extremely loving knowledge and rebirth of our beings- the coming alive once again of spirituality. Ah, how beautiful each is!

I am often questioned about a religious aspect of energy healing. It is not connected with any religion, but instead with the innate knowledge that we are all made of energy (as is all of creation) and the unique knowledge that we can easily use this energy to help ourselves feel better. Now this may be called a journey in spirituality in that many recognize the energy around us as part of spirit. And I agree in that aspect. It also could be called a journey within, as we go within ourselves to ground and center for each healing, also centering and grounding our clients. Once again, I concur. Or it could be called a rebirth as we are connecting with a part of ourselves that was always there, but maybe we just weren’t aware of. Yes, definitely! And once you meet that part, folks, you have a paradigm shift int to the profound and beautiful world of energy work. Welcome!

Spiritual Parents
Clearing the energy field
Parents who are on a spiritual path (aren’t we all) are the folks who attend Energy Healing/Meditation classes for Parents and Kids. We have such a good time. I actually have one coming up this Thursday (5/7/15) in Lancaster Schools. I find the children are so beautifully open to what they experience in class. They link to their spiritual selves through breath and meditation. At times, our children become the teachers as they so simply share what they feel. Our children have a thin veil separating the energy world from the “physical world”, though, indeed they are melded. The spiritual heartbeat of the class comes to life as parents and their children experience and discuss what they feel during breath, relaxation exercises and simple healing techniques. What an amazing and joyous time for all! Such fun! So if you find yourself interested in learning more for your children and you are not in/near Buffalo NY you can help guide your kids on a spiritual path using my books:I AM Healer, I AM Within and I AM a Rainbow available through authorhouse and amazon. Hope to hear from you. ‘Til the next time-Rosie

The Importance of Setting an Intention
Intention generates a lot of attention these days (LOL). We have the Power of Intention by Wayne W. Dyer, The Intentional Experiment and The Intentional Economy as books celebrating intention. But what does intention setting have to do with healing? EVERYTHING! Once the energy worker is centered and grounded, a common intention is set after having a discussion with you, the client. Of course, the discussion gives information but the REAL energy work is done on the table.
Roseanne Script grounding a client.
The healer sets the tone, but the information about the best intention does not come just from conversation. It comes from the assessment of the energy field. Once that is complete, both the client and the healer go back to the intention of sharing the healing and make adjustments based on the energetic information. And something happens. It is perfect! It always is exactly what that person needs at that moment in time.
I love, love, love energy healing. I simply am not in charge, but work with my clients and the universal good, listening to all the signals (that is a skill) AND completing the energetic sequence that is for their highest good (another skill). This is all learned through years of training and working with the healing energy. My particular training is with Healing Touch and as a CERTIFIED PRACTITIONER (only 4 in Western NY), for my own Healing Practice: Buffalo Healing Therapies, where I use the foundations with great success and confidence. I also am a Reiki Master, which means I can train others in Reiki. There are many Reiki folks sharing healing in my area and it is good to connect with them as a healing group, as well as use the Reiki energy when called for during healings.
How does intention-setting improve your life? Well, I think it changes your focus. It lifts you up. It gives you a purpose, direction and drive. It helps you move in the direction that is in your highest good. And wouldn’t you want all of that? Well, of course. So, if you have a healer nearby, work with them. If not, as a minimum, at least start THINKING about your directions and writing what your POSITIVE intentions are. Then, clarify them. Write them down. Put them on the fridge or in your wallet. Revisit every day and watch what happens! View the video below to see the power of intention as Joey and Marissa learn about energy healing in my book I AM Healer.

Awakening
I am so impressed with the number of new clients who are truly part of an awakening to energy healing these days on our beautiful planet.
There is no age bracket. People come from teens to octogenarians. Awakening to new concepts about energy can happen any time in life and I am happy to be a beacon of light to help guide the way.
How enjoyable it is to see the faces and feel the lighter energy after a healing! How delightful it is to speak at an event for stroke patients and see their faces light up as they “feel” their first “energy ball”… a paradigm shift right before my eyes!
So what does it take to create awakening oneself to energetic healing work? Usually an event. Sometimes it takes a crisis whether it is in health, emotions or thought to bring energy to consciousness. Other times one experiences an inner drive or push to learn more once the concept is introduced. You all come to me with a unique and special story and a request to become a more improved version of yourself whether mind, body or spirit. For me, personally, it was to help my Dad feel better as he was facing open-heart surgery. It just happened naturally and there was no going back. Visit “my story” on www. buffalohealingtherapies.com and see what you think. I love sharing these events with you as they truly shaped the remainder of my life as energy worker. Why Do We Get Sick?
What makes us sick? I was thinking about what you might like to hear about and the idea of illness, or disease just popped in, so here we go. When we become sick, we often experience our worlds shutting down in order for us to heal. This can be a time of reflection upon our disease, or an opportunity to learn more about how health and disease affect our own lives.
Why do we get sick?
Of course, there are other reasons for disease, like what we inherit in our genes, what we are exposed to in the air, what we choose to eat, stress and how all of these affect us. I would add few components: thought and energy. Have you ever wondered why one person walks away completely unharmed by a disease that all are exposed to and everyone else gets sick? Or how about twins with the same biological makeup, living apart, each having specific predispositions and one staying healthy and the other facing all kinds of disease?
I would venture to say it is how we THINK about disease and how we FEEL about it that can have an amazing effect on the impact and force of the illness or wellness in our lives. It is the old adage, what you focus upon is what brings the results, or what you resist, persists-resistance defined as the amount of time and attention YOU decide to give to the illness.
Another option towards the healing of disease is to recognize that it is present to help you figure out something about YOU. That your natural state is one of well-being and your greatest desire is to be there. To LOOK, IMAGINE and FEEL yourself being WELL. To LEARN about the power of COLOR and LIGHT to help yourself HEAL . Through BREATH and POSITIVE thought you can be more in alignment with your source energy, thereby feeling healthy and well.
Of course, this is a big leap for many, but for those of you interested, you can use my book I AM Healer to help you along this path. It is designed as a simple book of basic ideas and illustrations about energy healing as the children in the book question their Master Teacher. Read it for yourself or with your family and wellness centers. Try some techniques on yourself and see what you feel. Enjoyed! ‘Til the next time-Rosie

The Energy Trilogy, Healing Through I AM
Why use I AM? Why create The Energy Trilogy? Why Healing? What prompted you?
Series of three books to introduce energy healing concepts to all
These are all the questions I am asked regarding my book series, Healing Through I AM. Well, the books actually were born out of necessity. My clients who came for Energy Healing kept asking for more, and more and more. Being an educator, I decided the best way to help make energy healing concepts available to everyone was to write about them. So, I created simplified text and illustrations for those new to healing work, whether adult, parent or child.
Why a Trilogy? Well, though each book is not dependent upon the previous, they are all interconnected in that the concepts are necessary in the learning of energy work. Following the model of how I was instructed, I started with chakras in I AM a Rainbow, moved to meditation in I AM Within and concluded with actual energy healing awakening in I AM Healer. For indeed, we are energy within these beautiful bodies and when we connect with our inner selves, we awaken great natural abilities to help ourselves simply “do better” in the world. And who wouldn’t want that?
Why I AM? Was that intentional? Of course it was! We are all a spark of the “All That Is” energy, give it any name you like. It is who we are. We are interconnected through this loving energy and we can use it to help ourselves co-create AMAZING realities as we walk through life.My option is to share our ability to experience healing. So , yes, quite intentional.
Stop by Authorhouse.com and take a peek at the books to see how you might use them in your life to help you, your family, your schools, your yoga classes, your meditation and mindfulness groups, your healing classes, your health institutions do better in life. Soon, I will post about each book and how you can use them with your groups, children or clients. Till the next time, Rosie.

Reaching Out with Energy
I had the absolute delight this month to reach out to a random group of people gathered to hear my presentation about energy healing in a local library. There were about fifteen
The energy ball, a first step to feeling your field
people present, each brimming with curiosity about the local healer (that would be me!)
It was an evening of fun, as they all are. Lots of shared information about Healing Touch, my main method of providing treatment to my clients, examples of results, playing with energy balls and sensing the human energy field. What a delight it was to see their expressions as they felt and described their energy field to the others! How amazed they were as they felt a stranger’s field! For indeed, we all are able to sense not only our own field, but others as well.
Of course, an introduction to your field, does not a healer make, however, it is the first step to a paradigm shift about our own ability to feel better. Once you have felt the energy there is no denying it and no turning back-unless you somehow want to pretend the experience never happened!
So, try it. Start with centered breathing. Three cleansing breaths generally does the trick. Now, rub your hands together for a few minutes until they feel warm. Pull them apart and bring them together, but do NOT touch them. Push and pull for a bit to see what you feel and give language to it. An example is given in my book I AM Healer as Joey and Marissa create their energy balls for the first time. Whether adults or children, it is an amazing eye-opening event. . See where this line of thinking takes you. Do it with your children. Have fun with it Blessings. Till the next time-Rosie

How to Say Goodbye
Saying Goodbye, heartbreaking or cleansing? We all have our goodbye people. They touch our lives and then for reasons of misalignment, either they leave or we leave, making a mark on each others souls. I have recently had to say goodbye to a very young man, a
Shawn passed from alcohol poisoning
gifted photographer, who used poor judgment with alcohol. It is one of those heartbreaking goodbyes as we all strive to create a reason for what seems senseless and irretrievable. So we are left to mourn-but how- with the emotion of loss so raw and the ability to make sense so futile? Yet, somewhere is that light. For we are all here to co-create, and this young man created with his pictures. So, we stand back in appreciation. Then, we look at the message of alcohol-related death, though stinging…perhaps it can ring true for those who walk this life in denial, saying it cannot happen to them-for indeed, it can. We remind those in our lives who may slip, be careful, respectful and mindful of what you decide to put into your body. Choose carefully, for we do not want to endure another goodbye. Our spirits may simply break. Be thoughtful of yourself. Find the joy around you and share it. Reach out to a friend and share your dark corners, for we all have them. You are never alone. So, let me end with hope that our lives are made richer by the gifts left behind and wiser from the lessons surrounding the goodbye. Blessings. Till the next time. -Rosie
