MINDFULNESS AND EDUCATION
Everybody wants to be treated with respect. In order to get respect you also need to give it. In order to give it you need to first have it for yourself. As humanity we are responsible to treat each other with respect and to respect this Planet our Home.
Lack of respect for oneself, for others and for the Planet are the major cause of chaos in these modern times. I am so happy to know that there are conscientious professors and teachers who now insist that their students come into the realization of respect for themselves and the Planet. One such Professor is Dr. Mark Wasicsko, Ph.D from the University of Northern Kentucky, who created an online course for Professionals like counsellors, social workers and teachers. The course is called , "Mindful Professionals" . For this course he is using my book, "Twelve Steps to Inner Peace" as a text book.
I would like to share one of his email testimonials from January, 2018.The Professor's email to me: Today is the first day of the new semester so students will be starting their exploration in mindfulness and will be reading a chapter of your book each week for the next 13 weeks. I am currently working on a public service course using the same format as the one I do with my students. I plan to use your book again in that version. It will likely be 2 weeks before I have that course ready but as soon as I do, I will enroll you so you can see what you think and offer suggestions for improvements. I’d also like to set up a live webinar in late March if that would work for you. We can figure out the details as we get closer to the date.
Thanks again for your kindness and for the light you shine for others' growth.
Peace,
Mark
