Speak Up

The Melbourne acting community lost a wonderful soul this month.
As you all gather together, line up outside of stores or gorge yourselves on roast whatever when it's forty degrees, please try to remember that this is a tremendously difficult time of year for some people. Some people, who though no fault of their own, are alone and yet surrounded by happy families, bombarded with messages about Christmas cheer and hope for the new year. They wonder all the while where they went wrong, why do they miss out, even if it doesn't seem as if they did. Make time for these people, I beg you....and for those of you who do feel this way this time of year, please PLEASE don't keep it all inside. Let it out, it doesn't matter how. Made a nuisance of yourself. Complain. Cry in public. Ask for help. Demand help. There are people here who will try with all their might. Suffering in silence is never worth it. Not ever. Speak up -
