The Next Big Thing
I am so excited that I was asked by K. R. Rowe, (author of Amber and Blue) an awesome book by the way, to do a question and answer interview about my book. I have added K. R. Rowe's link to the bottom of my page. Please check out her interview and read about her book. It's a great read!
What is your working title of your book?
They Always Affair Down. This is the sequel to "You Cheated On Me With THAT?!"
Where did the idea come from for the book?
From my own experience as well as many people that I know. It seems that a day doesn't go by that either a friend or relative calls me and tells me about an affair that has touched them. When I finished the first book, I thought I would be done. I was wrong. There are millions of stories out there, each heartbreaking. I'm not going to write millions of them, but I'm not finished yet. Some of the revenge stories I have for this next book will blow your minds! And there will be a 3rd book, totally different from these 2.
What genre does your book fall under?
Romance, chick lit.
Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
There are completely different people for each story so there would be many actors to choose from. I would love to see a few of these people from the TV show called Revenge..fitting, yes?
Emily VanCamp & Madeleine Stowe
Josh Bowman & Barry Sloane
Nick Welscher
Rachel Bilson, Scott Porter & Cress Williams
Tatum Channing definitely hot enough...
Krysten Ritter looks vengeful enough...
Ellen Barkin
Powers Booth
These are just a few that have come to mind.
What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
When I say "They Always Affair Down", I am not talking about looks, it's more about what's inside of a person.
Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
It will be self-published but I have Telemachus Press to make it look professional.
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
I am still in the middle of writing it.
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
I haven't read anything like this yet most likely because I haven't seen anything like it.
Who or what inspired you to write this book?
My first book because I realized after finishing that one, I wasn't ready to stop telling more stories.
What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
There are some pretty sad but funny and outlandish revenge stories.
K. R. Rowe was kind enough to include me in this interview opportunity and I would like to thank her by providing her website for others to enjoy.

I'm on Cheaterville.com!
Have you ever been to Cheaterville.com? If not, check this out..they put my book in their article section!

I'm pretty psyched about it!
I started Christmas shopping last month and I've only gotten 2 presents so far. At this rate it will be next Christmas before I finish! One of the presents I got was a Kindle Fire when they were on sale on Amazon! I hope the person I'm giving it to loves it as much as I love mine. I will admit though, I did have buyers remorse after I got it. I thought maybe I should have gotten the Kindle Fire HD instead. We'll see how he likes the Kindle Fire, and if he seems interested in the HD I can always get that for his birthday next year. I pretty much know what I'm getting everyone, I just have to find the desire to go get it all. I think I'll just go next week and do it all in one trip.
I'm already tired just thinking about it.

Dear Cops...
I know a little boy who is 8 years old. He has a sister who is 11. The sister had a slumber party the other night and they were watching the Twilight movies, all of them. At one point the 8 year old brother saw the credits come up and he saw "PG13." He ran into his room, grabbed his notebook and pencil and wrote this letter,
"Dear Cops,
My sister and her friends are watching a PG13 movie and they are only 11 and 12!
Thank you."
That really made me laugh! His mother made a copy of the letter for me. I might have to pull it out for him at his high school graduation.
I've been working on another book. It will be a little different than this first one. I'm having fun writing it and only wish there were more hours in each day. Sometimes I like to say that sleep is overrated, that is, until I find myself in a comfy chair. The next thing I know it's a few hours later. It's not easy working night shift and then on my days off trying to get into a daytime routine. I've given that up. I find myself awake all night typing away until the sun comes up. This first book took me 2 years to finally be finished. I have promised myself that this next one will be finished before the end of this year.
Wish me luck!

Just Picked Up John Locke On The Side Of The Freeway!

http://t.co/Zady5nO
This has already been a crazy day! I was up until 3am editing my book. I am sooo excited that it's going to be up soon! I went to bed and woke up a few hours later and started reading one of my favorite blogs by David Gaughran.Love this blog!
http://davidgaughran.wordpress.com/2011/06/21/john-locke-sells-a-million-books-then-tells-the-world-how-he-did-it/
I saw his article on John Locke and knew I wanted to read it right away. Thanks David for the heads up!
I have a lot of things to do today but everything is a 90 mile drive from my house. I need to get some blood tests done and I know I'll have a long wait due to no appt. made. But I'm good with that as I plan on reading John Locke's book!
I left the house and was on my way, about 20 miles from home when I realized that I had left my paperwork for these blood tests at home. I hate when I do that! So I got off the next exit and started to head back home.
That's when I hit a road block. A semi truck dropped a load of wood off of his truck and people were scrambling to get it off the road. I picked up my Kindle as my car was shut off and turned it on expecting to read John Locke's book. It wasn't on my Kindle! I then remembered that I hadn't actually hit the *click to buy now* button on Amazon when I was looking at it earlier. That's ok though cause I searched his book on the Kindle, found it, and there it was!
Of course by now the wood was all cleaned up and I had to go home to get the blood work paperwork. As soon as I get to the lab, I'll be reading this book!
And this is how I picked up John Locke on the side of the freeway.
Ok...I'm off to my destination...again. I have John Locke in tow and I'm ready to go! I'll be posting on here as soon as I get back!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ok...so yesterday turned out to be one of those days where I should have just stayed home. Once I got to my destination, I dropped my cell in a grocery store parking lot. Today I have to drive back out there and pick it up from a lady that found it.
I didn't have time to read John Locke's book while I was out of town either. I did start reading it when I got home though! I'm not finished with it yet because then I had to work that night for 12 hours. After I post this...I will finish reading it.
Oh...and I sent this email to John...
I picked you up on the freeway!That's right...I picked you up! You don't remember? I was the one with the warm fingers caressing the leather that held your...."details." Yeah...I'll refer to all of that as your details.Well...I blogged about the experience with you. I must say though, your wife is one very lucky lady.
:)
And a note to his wife if she reads this...The leather I referred to was my Kindle cover holding his book in my Kindle. The details are the details in his book.
And there were no play on words with you being one very lucky lady. He's a genius!
:)
You Cheated On Me With THAT?!
This will be my first ebook published! Right now as I type this, I have hired someone to do the cover. I can't wait to see it!
The statistics of infidelity are mind boggling! I see a lot of books about this subject and most of what I've seen are about how to save your marriage afterwards. This isn't one of them. This book is about what actually happened once the affairs were found out. The tears, the revenge, and whether or not these couples stayed together. These stories are from the heart.
