December 2017 Update

Just in time(-ish) for the holidays, The Unrepentant Cinephile is now available as a physical object! You can order it here for $15.99 through December 31st (after that it'll bump up to $19.99) and you get a free copy of the ebook version with purchase of the print edition. Along with the release of the print edition, the final content update for the ebook version is available as well. The text of each version is the same, and the book now covers over 800 titles. I made a Letterboxd list of all the titles covered in the book so you can get an idea of what you might be getting yourself into.

In non-book related news, we're closing in on the end of post-production for my first feature film, Housesitters! We just revealed the illustrated poster for the film this week, head over to the Housesitters Facebook page to check it out and keep up on the latest happenings. We're hoping to premiere in the Spring, fingers crossed!

June 2017 update

Since my last update back in March, I have posted the first two parts of a massive project I've been working on for quite some time: a comprehensive history of the films of Russ Doughten and Donald W. Thompson. These men were the partners behind Mark IV Pictures, best known for the series of films that started with A THIEF IN THE NIGHT in 1973. I just published the second part this week.

March 2017 update

I just published an update to The Unrepentant Cinephile on 14 March 2017. This update includes dozens of reviews that were not in the book as originally published back in August of 2016, bringing the total number of films covered in the book to just over 500.

I'm also looking into making a physical edition of the book, although that is going to take a ton of reformatting so I don't expect that to be ready for some time.
