Time to set out on "The Quest".

I am in the process of uploading Quest to Createspace and Amazon, and I can't help but be a little teary eyed as I listen to the soundtrack. I will miss the people of Jefferson Point as I pass them on to the reader. I can only hope that one in ten readers get where we were going with it and understand what wanted to say. These people meant a lot to me and I hope soon others will feel the same. Happy reading, everyone!

Perpetual Quest is at the editor and has a blurb!

Finally, the folks of Jefferson Point are out of my head (for the most part) and with the editor. Here is the back cover teaser:

Tourists flock to Jefferson Point for the antique shops and riverboat tours. Everyone knows everyone and secrets are impossible to keep. Or so it seems...

Dr. Ryan Harper's brutal slaying stuns the picturesque river town. Ryan was their golden child: high school football star, Prom King, and was on his way to finishing his residency.

After a two-year struggle to care for their young son alone, his widow, Nicole, hesitantly returns to their hometown. Her homecoming re-opens old wounds, as Ryan's family and friends struggle adapt to life without his dynamic presence.

The last person Nicole expects to reconnect with is Aaron Foster, Ryan’s best man and reluctant keeper of his secrets.

With everybody having an opinion on Nicole’s post-Ryan existence, she must maneuver the rapids of past loves, new expectations, and haunting dreams of her fallen husband.

The Perpetual Quest for the Perfect Life is a frank story of questionable decisions, small town politics, and love after loss.

They're back!!! (New Edition)

Fury is back from the editor,Erin Dauer Roth, who polished them up and made them all shiny and meterosexual. If you already have Fury on your Kindle, you should be able to get the new version utilizing the "manage device" function on Amazon. If you don't have Fury yet-it is on sale for the rest of the month for 0.99!!! Now is a great time to pick up our Fab Five.

Fury takes a roadtrip back to the editor.

So D.J. Dave and the boys are taking a little limo ride back to the editor. I cringe that missed errors tripped readers up while reading the book. I want people to hate my story for the story, not the screw-ups. It won't be fun shelling out for editing AGAIN and formatting AGAIN...but I want Fury to be at its absolute best, so time for the lint brush! I will announce when the third edition is up and have a major sale. If you already have it-don't read it yet. It is my understanding that people who have already purchased it can upload the revised copy when it's up though a manage kindle function.

Fury Day-Word

Fury is being featured and reviewed on several blos today. It's 0.99 cents and many copies will be given away. There is a dream cast off you can vote on, a playlist of Fury's soundtrack, and an author interview with both Tammy and I, as well as Melissa Brown, the author of Bouquet Toss (she'd known in many circles for her casting skills). Joins us!http://xwordx.blogspot.com/Bouquet Toss

Quest has a cover!

OMG, y'all. We have a cover for our second book. It's wonderful and perfect. Don't get me wrong-Sarah Hansen of okaycreations did a magnificent job on the cover of Fury (I adore her and the cover). Our second book, The Perpetual Quest for the Perfect Life, is an unrelated story and I wanted an entirely different look and feel. Michelle Warren crept inside my head and somehow managed to do exactly what I pictured. I CANNOT wait to reveal it, but I must!!! We are still a few weeks away from editing...boo!

Writing...not promoting.

I'm happy to report that I've had a lovely reading break. The Opportunist, A Song For Julia, and The Final Piece were a few highlights of my holiday season. I am now moving forward with phase two of post-Fury release/promo blitz: writing. I am back at The Perpertual Quest for the Perfect Life and have also shocked myself by writing the first paragraph of what appears to be a Fury sequel (say it ain't so)! Guess Steph and Phillip may have their moment in the spotlight after all...gird you loins, Readers!A Song for JuliaThe OpportunistThe Final Piece
