What is Heart in a Box about?

So, Emma Elliot, our totally heartbroken leading lady, makes the Faustian deal to wish her heart away so she can opt out of all that post break-up terribleness. She immediately realizes that is an awful idea. Only to find out
that the devil is in the business of re-distribution. So now she has to track down all the bits and
pieces of her heart, whilst trying to come to terms with the person she
is now, post relationship schism.

There are also road-trips and fisticuffs.

And who doesn’t like that?

How many HS books do you want there to be?

Hmmm.

I’ll keep writing Hopeless Savages books as long as Oni wants to publish them, and I’ve got notes for a couple more. But I’m working on other things as well, so I don’t know exactly where they’ll fall in the work-flow order over the next couple years. I hope the next one won’t take me as long to script as Break did, that’s for sure.

But there’s no target number. I want there to be as many books as I have stories to tell about them, and I try every day to improve my time-management strategies so that I can write all the stuff I want to be writing.
