meredithmcclaren:

Uh.  Hey.

Does anyone remember a post that was a series of men’s fashion photos where each dude was paired with a cat that looked like him?

It might be like, a year old, but I suddenly have a mighty need.

Help?

Soo…

A lot of you have pointed out that http://deshommesetdeschatons.tumblr.com is a thing.  And I am much pleased.

HOWEVER.

I am looking for a specific post.  It’s multiple pictures long.  And I’ve not yet found it on deshommesetdeschatons.  (I will continue to look.)

I feel like I should mention that the men in the post I am looking for were posing WITH THE CATS.  They weren’t separate pictures.  And the cats only looked like the models in face shape, hair color, eye features.  They weren’t posing the same.

Does that help?  Or was it all a dream…?

there's a blog called deshommesetdeschatons that might have what you're looking for?

I haven’t seen the post I’m looking for on this blog yet.  But I am still pleased that this has been brought to my attention.  Many thanks.

hi! in case you were wondering, i'm not a random bot follower - i actually saw your deviantart gallery a few years back. recently went back to check on it only to discover its deactivation! but thankfully that was nothing a quick google search couldn't sol

It wasn’t anything like I was disappointed with the site or was having a bad time there.

But I had begun to feel like the upkeep of my deviant page was more of a burden than something I could enjoy.  Eventually I experienced a period where I was exceptionally overwhelmed.  And a bunch of things just had to go.  The deviant art page being one of them.

It’s true that I could have just left it abandoned, but for me, that would have just signified something I would have had to return to.  It would have still weighed on me.  Not to mention I would have felt like something with my name on it would have then been beyond my control.

The relief I gained from completely deactivating it was much more significant.
