A Message of Love about Malaysia Airlines Missing Plane
Our hearts go out the the loved ones of all the passengers on the Malaysia Airlines Missing Flight.
As on of the few Syracuse University Students to return from England after the Bombing of Flight 103 over Lockerbie Scotland, I know first hand the depth of pain associated with such an event.
As a Spiritual Channel, I also know the beauty, grace and support that comes from our world gathering in prayer an intentions of love.
Last week a friend asked me to join with Spirit to receive a higher understanding of what happened to this plane and how we can add our love and support to this moment.
What unfolded was so profound I am sharing it with you.
A Message of Love about Malaysia Airlines missing Plane.
If this message resonates with you, please share with others. The more of us who shift our attention from fear to love, the more transforming the impact this event can have on our world.

Event: Spring Awakening Meditation
The Vernal Equinox is a moment of perfect harmony, when the Divine Masculine and Feminine Energies align, bringing day and night into equal balance.
To be in balance does not mean we are static; quite the contrary, it is an ever- changing, fluid process of discovery. We are not seeking or looking for balance; it is our natural state.
To rediscover this equilibrium we must cultivate harmony within. This alignment is manifested through an opening of the Heart, the gateway between the material and the spiritual realms, essential for the subsequent alignment of the 7 Energy Centers that permeate the physical, mental, emotional, and etheric bodies.
Join Energy Healers Sheila Applegate and Katrin Naumann for a profoundly healing Meditation to unleash the Vital Life Force that has lain dormant in the Root. Experience expansion and release, as this dynamic Creative Energy Flow springs forth, drawn toward the Light of the Higher Self.

What Does It Mean to FEEL God?
…an Endless flow of Love that is moving through us and in us in every moment. An Endless Flow of Love that IS us. When we place our attention on this Endless Flow Of Love that IS God, we FEEL God. Sometimes we think we are placing our attention on God’s Love when we are actually placing our attention on the illusion of God/Love’s absence. When we are focused on TRYING to feel God’s Love, our attention is on the feeling of its absence. When we pray for God’s Love and support we are really just making an intention to place our attention back into God’s endless flow of Love. When we follow that prayer a shift into Silent Receiving we Feel the Flow of God’s Love and we know that our prayer has been answered.
When we continue to TRY and ASK and PRAY for that Love rather than shifting our attention to its Silent Receiving then we do not FEEL the Endless Flow of Love that is God and we think perhaps our prayers have not been answered. We think we are not good enough. Perhaps we focus our attention on all the things we don’t like about ourselves. This leads us to placing more and more attention on the feeling of separation from God’s Love and we feel less and less connected. Maybe we look for flaws to heal within ourselves so that God will answer our prayers. That process of healing can become a gateway back to feeling the flow of God’s Love again: when we feel that we are healed we open ourselves to the flow of God’s Love. Once again we feel that union. But this is conditional; Love and God’s Love are Unconditional. We do not have to heal in order to be worthy of God’s Love. We are already worthy.
God is an Endless Flow of Love that is moving through us and in us in every moment…
An Endless Flow of Love that IS us.
This cycle of TRYING and RECEIVING can seem like an endless trap that keeps us from embodying ALL that we are through the flow of God’s Love. Perhaps the best way to break this cycle is to NOTICE it.
Once you notice that you are TRYING to feel God’s Love you remember that you are focusing on the illusion that you are NOT God’s love. As soon as you notice, instead of TRYING HARDER, which is actually more of what is pulling you towards the illusion of Separation, STOP TRYING and START LOVING.
Give Love.
Hug someone.
Help Someone.
Make a meal for someone.
Listen to Someone.
Pet a Dog or a cat.
Hug a Tree.
Make your quest to SHARE LOVE and I can guarantee before you realize it YOUR ATTENTION WILL BE BACK IN THE FLOW OF LOVE. You will be seeing the miracles all around you. You will feel the Love inside of you growing. You will feel yourself as a perfect reflection of God on Earth and in this SPACE ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

Excerpt from interview with Diahanna White, BlogTalkRadio: What Do YOU Mean By “Channeling”?
Hello Friends,
I recently had the pleasure of being interviewed on BlogTalkRadio by Diahanna White on her program, Awakening Your Soul. Diahanna is a Life Coach and Registered Certified Hypnotherapist with both The American Board of Hypnotherapy and The National Guild of Hypnotists. She is also a gifted Intuitive. Diahanna has always had an interest in helping others improve the quality of their lives and I am so pleased to have had this opportunity to speak with her. Here is an excerpt from our lively chat. To listen to this interview visit Awakening Your Soul with Diahanna.
Diahanna: Can you take a moment and explain what do YOU mean by channeling?
Sheila: Absolutely. One way I like to think of this as like the channels of a television – the frequencies are always flowing. Whether you turn your television on, whether you plug it in, what channel you’re on – it doesn’t matter because in the airways all the other stations are playing whether you tune in to them or not. So channeling is as simple as just “tuning in” to the other channels and paying attention. The more we align ourselves with the divine spirit, with our own self awareness, the more we can move into that space of bringing in the frequencies and the messages that are out there. I believe everyone one does this and it’s really our natural state. If you’re an artist and you’re painting a picture and it seems like it becomes more than you’re own thought pattern – it’s inspiration. When we write something and look back and say “wow, that was really good” that is channeling. Even while talking to a friend…have you ever been talking to a friend who is struggling with something and you give some advice or share insight, then look back on it and say “wow, where did that come from?” I believe these are all layers of channeling and the more we tune in, the more we are able to navigate through those different vibrations, the more specific information we can bring forth.
Diahanna: Yeah, I agree, that often happens when you talk to friends and you think “where DID that come from? Were you always channeling? Were you practicing meditation all the time, was this something you were always comfortable with?
Sheila: Well, you know it’s interesting because the more I get interviewed, the more I start to look back at my childhood and see that perhaps I was. I did not have a framework for that as a child. I was raised Lutheran. One of my early memories is that I used to listen to Jesus Christ Super Star over and over and over. I especially resonated with the songs Magdalene sang. I can actually remember being in my childhood living room and feeling like I was her as I sang along. But again I didn’t have any context of that being a channel. I was very fascinated with spirituality my whole life – questioning everything, really tuning in to what was true and not true for me. I also used to wake up in the middle of the night and write, even as a kid. I did one school project in which the assignment was to write an essay about a tall wooden post. I woke up in the middle of the night and the whole crucifixion story from Magdalene’s point of view, using the wooden post as part of the cross, poured out of me for this assignment. This is a little odd for a teenager. So I probably did have this gift as a child but it wasn’t something I was aware of. In my first job after I earned my Master’s Degree my supervisor was attending a metaphysical christian church and she invited me to go. I attended this church and studied with the Minister. I learned through guided meditation which is why I teach guided meditation still. I think it’s the gateway for people to tune in to their own gifts.
Diahanna: I agree. that is exactly how I knew it too – with a lot of guided mediation for people who come here and that’s why I also put some of the guided meditations on my website. It’s for that reason because if you were to say to someone who doesn’t know much about channeling or meditating – you say “well just sit in silence, you’ll get it” – you can’t expect someone to sit in silence and not have a thought. They think if they have just one thought they’ve done it wrong which is “crazy”….
Sheila: Yes, it is! I tried that in college. It didn’t work for me. The brain is going to go… you want to bring your brain along with you so a guided meditation gives it something productive to do.
Diahanna: EXACTLY and it’s going in the direction of relaxation, wellness, a nice journey to the beach or something, and there you’re able to relax and not think “did I let the dog out?” That’s what I do love about guided meditation. That’s for me the way I found myself connecting…that’s for me how it started anyway – buying a cassette tape years ago and listening to someone’s guided meditation and starting to have my own experiences…I think it’s pretty cool. So you weren’t born with some innate gift of channeling? Your mother wasn’t a psychic and read tea leaves – you just literally started like any other normal human – well, you know what I mean – (laughter) you’re normal right?
Sheila: (laughing) I definitely would say that! You know I did run into a middle school/high school friend after years of not being around her, when I told her what I do, she goes “Oh that makes sense!” so there must have been SOMETHING in me….I think everybody can do this, everybody can learn it but some of us are going to be more inclined to, more passionate, just like everyone can be a basketball player or a physicist but some of us are going to want to do it and spend the time and energy, be passionate about it and some of us aren’t.
Diahanna: Right, it’s a learned skill I find that the more you practice the better you get, and the more you listen, the better you get.
Sheila: Exactly. Exactly.

Interview with Vironika Tugaleva, Author of “The Love Mindset”
Hello Friends!
I can’t help but ask…have you done the mirror exercise I described in Chapter One of Enchanted One~ The Portal To Love? What did you experience when I asked you to look in the mirror for five minutes? This is an exercise in observing Self Love. (Please feel free to share your comments below.)

Vironika Tugaleva
Vironika Tugaleva goes deep into the exploration of Self Love in her just released book, The Love Mindset. I am honored to be a part of her Virtual Book Tour and to share this interview with you. I am certain you will feel her work supports the message of unconditional Love in Enchanted One. If you are inspired by Vironika’s message you can get a free preview of The Love Mindset at TheLoveMindset.com.
Question: What is a love mindset and why is it important to have one?
Response: The love mindset is, quite simply, a state of mind where you can receive and give love freely, because you know you are love.
When you’ve got a love mindset, your mind is in complete alignment with your heart and soul. You’re able to be authentic, compassionate, and kind to others and, most importantly, to yourself. With the love mindset, you can heal and, finally, be happy.
It is important for every single person to have the love mindset, and in our culture right now it is needed more than ever. Our minds may have taken us to the moon and helped us build computers. We are all so intelligent, but we need more than just intelligence. When we survive only with the mind, we spend our lives worrying about whether we left the stove on and making to-do lists while making love.
Our minds have such an amazing capacity to be intelligent, but without the wisdom of love, they will only lead us into mental instability, shame, broken relationships, and violence. The love mindset helps you be both: intelligent and wise. It is not only important, it is crucial to our evolution and survival.
Question: You speak of going through a breakdown which was ultimately a breakthrough, can you share about that?
Response: Before I broke down, I ran myself into the ground. I hated myself, especially my body, with a burning passion. I knew nothing of acceptance and even less about love. I kept trying to make myself perfect so that I could, finally, accept myself. I kept trying to make the world around me perfect too. I would line up every set of rulers and judge each person’s tiny flaws. It was all in an attempt to get some control over the building hurricane of pain inside of me.
There came a point when I was unrecognizable to my family. In my search for perfection, I had tried to erase myself. Physically, every part of me was dyed, colored, altered somehow. Emotionally, I was numb. Mentally, I was always either in crisis or numbing my crisis with any addiction I could sustain.
One day, about two years ago, I finally broke down. A breakdown isn’t what everyone thinks. It’s not like a giant tantrum. It’s something quite simple – it’s a breaking down of all the complexities into their simplest form. And, so, my mind broke all of its complicated processes into one simple choice: change or die. I tried to leave. Believe me, I didn’t want to make that choice, but my mind gave me no choice to leave. I had to change or die.
I chose to change.
The next morning, I woke up a different person. I could no longer paint myself with makeup and I could no longer destroy my body with chemicals. It was almost as if I had surrendered to some deeper part of me and, from then on, I was no longer in control. My mind was no longer in control. My soul, my wisdom had come into the driver’s seat and, now, all I had to do was let go.
Question: What was it that finally helped you heal?
Response: Healing was difficult. Letting go wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. When I first saw myself in the mirror without makeup I thought “Wow, I really hate myself.”
For about two weeks after my breakdown, I would come in front of the mirror with my head down, relaxed, and prepare for the worst. I would look up into my own eyes, defenseless and open, and feel surging currents of hatred permeating my body. I would do this every day. I wasn’t quite sure why, but I knew I had to.
An important moment came about three weeks later. It started just as every day before. I came to the mirror, head down, and relaxed. I’d learned that the more I relaxed the sooner the waves of hatred would disappear. I took a deep breath and looked up into the eyes of the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen. I’d never seen anyone like her.
Then, I went out and I found that everyone else was like that too! All around me were beautiful, powerful, strong, brilliant people! I thought – what is happening and how can I have more of this?
It was exactly that question which led me to write The Love Mindset. I was trying to figure out what was going on. I discovered, in the end, that I was healing and I was healing with love. Then I discovered how love works and how to help others heal.
I think I heal more every day. I heal with every person that I work with who is in the same pain that I was in. Accepting their pain helps me accept the part of me that has felt that pain and, because of it, done some things I regret. Helping them heal helps me heal even more than I thought possible.
At the root of it all, love is the answer. It’s the only sane answer to healing anyone of anything.
Question: What does it mean to “love yourself” and why do you think most people have trouble with this?
Response: I can tell you, first of all, what loving yourself is not. It is not a process of finding your best traits and boasting them, hyper-focusing on them, and identifying with them. Loving yourself is not loving your eyebrows.
This is exactly why people have trouble loving themselves. They love what’s temporary. If I love my youthful body, won’t I just stop loving myself when that body grows old? If I love myself for my ability to play piano, what if I get arthritis and cannot play? No more self-love for me.
Self-love must be unconditional. It must be permanent. The only viable way to do that is to stop identifying with your mind, body, and circumstances, and begin to identify with your inner core.
If you learn to love your body as a vehicle for your spirit, you can never fall into our society’s body image crisis. If you learn to love your mind as a servant of your spirit, when your mind falls sick with anxiety, you can just put it to bed and let it rest. If you love yourself unconditionally, no relationship can break you away from yourself.
True self-love is self-knowledge. It is the wisdom of life itself.
Question: What advice do you have for people who are struggling with healing and happiness?
Response: There are three important steps that will help you find healing and happiness.
The first step is to dis-identify with your suffering. You are not your depression. You are not an anxious person. You are not codependent. You are not addicted. You are not crazy. These labels help you medicate away the pain, but they don’t help you solve the problem. They are dis-empowering and limiting.
The second step is to discover your inner power. That power will not activate until you receive the love you need. Love is air. Love is food. It is the food of your soul. Most problems with healing and happiness can be traced back to spiritual anorexia. We starve ourselves of understanding about our true nature, and thus we suffer. Awaken your inner wisdom by connecting with yourself and the people around you. Feed your soul what it needs.
The final step is to learn to decode your emotions. This means listening for the message of your anxiety, instead of listening to the thoughts you get during anxiety. This means listening for the message of depression, instead of the thoughts within depression. This means that, instead of getting an intense craving for cake, you sit down and you ask yourself “What does the cake mean? What do I think the cake can get me? What do I believe is missing? What is the meaning of cake?”
All in all, it is simply self-discovery that will set you free from your pain and onto the path of happiness. Self-knowledge is freedom.
Question: Do you think that people have to hit rock bottom, like you did, in order to change?
Response: I get asked this frequently. Sometimes it comes in the form of a statement (i.e. “Well, it was easy for you, you hit rock bottom, and that’s why you’re like this.”)
I hear many other statements such as “You’re too young to know pain” and “You haven’t got a PhD in this unconditional love thing, do you?” At first, I was confused about why people would speak in such a way, especially when I am trying to help them. Now, I know. When we are trying to let go and surrender to our inner selves, the mind panics. Mind thinks – “I’ve heard of this spirituality stuff, and that doesn’t sound good. I’ll be left out. It sounds uneducated and mindless.” So, the mind protests. “You have to hit rock bottom to change” is just another of the mind’s protests.
You can change anywhere, anytime as long as you’re willing to let go and trust yourself. That, I would say, is the hardest part. The hardest part of healing is saying that, maybe, you don’t have the answers and, maybe, if you just let go, the answers are already there. Just imagine a child coming out of the womb. The child must surrender to the contractions and let go to the process. He must allow himself to leave the warm comfort of the womb and come into this new, scary world. He must let go of where he’s been and go to where he must go. Most importantly, he must realize that the safety of the womb isn’t worth clinging to, because once the contractions start, that safety has already disappeared and the change has already begun.

6 Steps to Integrating Your Spiritual Practice into Your Daily Earthly Experience
Do you consider yourself a spiritual person? Have you given this much thought? You may be one of many people who are well on your way on the path of awakening to remembering Oneness. Or you may be one of the many people who are struggling to find your way along that path, either consciously or unconsciously.
So often, while on the path of awakening, we separate our spiritual practice from our earthly experience. Each of us has our own path to follow and there are many wonderful practices and means (remembrances) of expressing our spirituality along the way. Do you attend church or temple? If so, how often do you attend? Perhaps you have a prayer ritual? Or maybe you meditate? If so, are these daily practices or do you tend to call upon them in times of need? Awakening to remembering Oneness is a very personal journey: there are no right or wrong answers to these questions. However…
I firmly believe that as wonderful as these practices are, you will benefit by finding ways to integrate these remembrances into your daily routine. And guess what! There’s even an “App” for that! If you’re “plugged in” as they say, there are now apps that you can download into your phone or iPad that will chime throughout the day reminding you to stop take notice. If you have a device that is capable of such apps simply search “Prayer Chimes” and find one that feels correct to you. If such an app is not available for your phone, try programing the alarm clock to chime throughout your day. If you live your day electronic free, then get creative. Perhaps every time you come to a stoplight or see a bird fly over your head you can stop and take notice. Then…
When you hear (or see) your “prayer chime” I encourage you to take pause and follow these 6 steps:

Taking time to tune in daily will help you integrate love, joy and the vibrancy of New Earth Into your life. Soon, when the bell chimes, you will simply smile realizing you are already in that centered state of love and gratitude.

Three Key Elements to Successful New Years’ Resolutions
Last year at this time I was celebrating the recent publication of my very first book and during Day 3 of my virtual book tour I was an honored guest on Dr. Rob Kiltz’s blog, Mind Body Smile. The title of my post was “The Key To Successful New Year’s Resolution and a Happy 2013″ and in it I discussed my belief that there are three key elements to successful resolutions. These key elements are as relevant today as they were a year ago, so I thought I’d share the post once again. So enjoy these Three Key Elements to Successful New Years’ Resolutions then tell me in the comments below, what are your intentions for 2014?
Wishing all of you a very Happy New Year!
