Christopher Citro is the author of If We Had a Lemon We'd Throw It and Call That the Sun (Elixir Press, 2021), winner of the 2019 Antivenom Poetry Award, and The Maintenance of the Shimmy-Shammy (Steel Toe Books, 2015). His honors include a Pushcart Prize for poetry, Columbia Journal's poetry award, and a creative nonfiction award from The Florida Review. His poems appear widely in literary magazines and journals such as American Poetry Review, Ploughshares, Iowa Review, Gulf Coast, West Branch, and Alaska Quarterly Review. His fiction appears in The Spectacle, and The Cincinnati Review. Announcing my SPRING 2026 private creative writing workshop! Yay! Earlybird discounted registration opened today.

My poetry workshop “In the Landscape of Contemporary Poetry” meets on Wednesdays, starting April 1.
My “Creative Nonfiction Workshop” meets on Thursdays, starting April 2.

Both workshops take place on Zoom from 6-8 PM Eastern Time and run for 6 classes.
