RELEASE TOUR: Love & Light by Michele Shriver

Kori Walsh knows plenty about the darkness in the world. After watching her mother succumb to illness, Kori sunk into a deep depression that she can’t seem to snap out of, no matter who tries to help her.
As the star pitcher on his college baseball team, Landon Grayson is enjoying life as a big man on campus, and all of the perks that come with it. He has plenty of girls vying for his attention, so why is he drawn to the moody, sullen girl who claims not to be interested but still keeps showing up to watch practice every day?
As he gets to know Kori, Landon is struck by how much they have in common and he sets out to cheer her up. Can Landon show Kori that there is light after darkness, and if he does, will love blossom?

Chapter One
~Landon~
Practice ends, and she’s sitting there on the bleachers, alone, watching. The girl with the reddish-blond hair. I’ve seen her before. She’s in my Psychology class, but I’ve never talked to her. She always sits in the back of the room and is one of the first people to leave when class is over. She keeps to herself and walks with her head down, as if she doesn’t want to bother with anyone else.

Instead of heading straight to the locker room to shower and change, I decide to stop by the bleachers. “Hi there,” I say.
She glances up, and I notice her eyes are green, a nice complement to the red of her hair and I wonder if she’s of Irish descent. “Hi.” She doesn’t smile.
“Are you a baseball fan?” I ask her, something that automatically earns anyone points with me.
She gives a shrug of her shoulders. “Not really. Why?”
“Just curious. I saw you watching practice the last few days, so I thought maybe you were a fan.” I give her a sheepish smile. “It’s nice to see someone out here. We don’t exactly get a lot of people to practice, as you might have noticed.” I gesture at the empty bleachers. “Especially since we just moved outside.” The snow may be gone, but it’s still not very warm, and I’m not sure a lot of people on campus even realize that we’re practicing at Panther Park now.
“I’m here because it’s something to do,” she says, “and my doctor tells me fresh air is good for me. He says it will make me feel better.” She laughs a little, and it’s a laugh that makes me think she doesn’t believe her doctor’s claim.
“Are you sick?” I ask.
“Not physically.”
The answer catches me off guard and all I manage to say is, “Oh.”
For the first time, her lips twitch in the slightest hint of a smile. “Have I scared you away now?”
“Do you see me running?” I counter. It will take more than that to scare me off. I happen to know a thing or two about depression, and not just because my stepmom is a shrink.
“Maybe you should,” she says.
“Maybe.” I shrug, unconvinced. The thing is, she’s just intrigued me even more. “I hope you keep coming to practice,” I tell her. “Or maybe a game sometime. We’re off to a good start this season.” I set my gym bag down on the ground and extend my hand. “My name’s Landon, by the way. I’m a pitcher.”
She makes no move to shake my hand. “I don’t recall asking.”
And, just like that, I’m shot down. I may be pretty good at baseball, but it doesn’t mean I’m smooth with women. “No, I guess you didn’t.” I pick up my bag and sling it over my shoulder. “Maybe I’ll see you around,” I add before I turn and walk away.
I’ve gone about ten feet when I hear her call something out to me.
I turn back around. “Excuse me?”
“My name,” she says. “It’s Korinne, but most people call me Kori.”
“Kori,” I repeat, liking the way it sounds on my lips. “Thank you. Hopefully I’ll see you tomorrow, Kori.” I give a little fist pump as I run to the locker room.
~Kori~
I watch him jog away, and I wonder what he’s thinking. Is he happy he scored my name from our conversation, or does he think I’m a freak? I’m not sure why I gave it to him, other than it seemed like the polite thing to do. He’s cute and all, but I don’t want to send the wrong message. I don’t date jocks. I don’t want to date anyone right now.

I can’t try to end it, though. I won’t. It would be selfish and cowardly, especially after watching my mother fight for every last day on this earth. Even when she was in so much pain she could barely stand it, or was so weak she couldn’t get out of bed, she never gave up the fight. For that reason, I won’t give up either, even though it’s hard for me to enjoy anything since she’s been gone.
Maybe someday I will find enjoyment again. Maybe it will even be watching baseball.
I look around the empty bleachers, picturing them full of spectators on game day, cheering the players on. Landon said I should go to a game, but that seems like too much, too soon. Crowds? Cheering? People having fun? Definitely not my thing.
Practice, though, I think I can handle, and maybe I’ll have a friend in this guy, Landon. Maybe this is where it will start. The healing.
It’s hard to actually believe that, but I’ll be back again tomorrow anyway.

Author to AUTHOR #TeaserTuesday: Soldier On by Sydney Logan

Losing her father in Desert Storm has left Stephanie James with a bitter soul when it comes to the military. As a college senior juggling a full course load, Steph's only goal is to graduate with honors at the end of the semester. She’s focused, determined, and a firm believer in all work and no play. Then she meets Brandon Walker at a New Year’s Eve costume party. Despite his disguise, Steph finds herself attracted to the camouflaged soldier who curls her toes with a scorching midnight kiss.Brandon is an engineering major and ROTC student from the hills of Kentucky. Growing up as the son of a major general has given Brandon firsthand knowledge of the struggles military families sometimes face. Now that his father’s memory is fading, Brandon is even more determined to make his dad proud and graduate as an officer in the United States Army. Then he meets Stephanie, and suddenly, his focus is less on his military service and more on the pretty brunette who has stolen his heart. When he becomes aware of Steph’s resentment toward the military, he worries their relationship is doomed. When faced with the realization that she's fallen in love with a soldier, can Steph’s wounds from the past be healed with love in her present . . . and in her future?

I kiss her. Hard. She groans and wraps her arms around my neck, pulling me to her until we’re as close as we’ve ever been. For a few fantastic minutes, we’re all tongues and hands and moans, because it’s been a long time since we’ve touched and we’re both a little worked-up. But after a while, our frantic kisses slow to something much more familiar—something warm and soft and real. We’re both breathless when we pull away. And, now, we can actually see each other’s faces because at some point, in the middle of the most awesome kiss of my life, the electricity came back on. And Bangle joined us on the couch. I eye the cat warily. “She’s going to claw my eyes out for touching you.” Steph gives me the sexiest grin I’ve ever seen before lifting her blouse over her head, letting it fall to the floor. “Then we better make it worth it,” she says

NORTH STAR
“Sylvia was right. You are not the type of woman I have usually dated.” I started to turn away again, but he wouldn’t let me.
“Yes, they were beautiful,” he continued, “but only on the outside. They were shallow, selfish, and greedy. Their biggest interests were acquiring more clothes and jewelry and finding ways to get me to buy it for them. They wouldn’t dare dirty themselves playing with children or cooking or cleaning up messes. And they sure as hell couldn’t have thrown darts without breaking a nail.” He smirked at his last comment.
He pushed my hair away from my face and tucked it behind my ear. “You, on the other hand, are the most stunning woman I have ever known. I love to run my hands through your thick, silky hair. I love to hold your soft, sweet curves against my body.” He paused and brushed a finger across my lips. “Your smile is pure sunshine and your beautiful eyes hold me captive and seem to see into my soul, seeing the real me and not just what I have to offer. You amaze me at how kind you are to other people and how much you enjoy giving of yourself.”
He leaned his forehead against mine and continued in a soft, gruff voice. “So, you see, Mikayla, Sylvia was right. You are not the type of woman I usually date, and it’s really more that I am not worthy of you.” I was unable to look away from the adoration I saw as he looked back at me. My heart pounded so hard I was surprised my shirt didn’t pulse outward with each beat.
“I can’t even begin to imagine why you haven’t been snapped up by some other lucky bastard, but I thank God you weren’t. I want you, Mikayla. So I don’t ever, ever want to hear you put yourself down again and wonder why I want to be with you.”
TRUE NORTH
The woman finished placing her order and waited patiently at the bar, casting her long lashes down as if she were uncomfortable with all the people surrounding her, especially the drunken idiots sitting at the bar next to her. The guy closest to the end leaned backward as he laughed hard at something his buddy said. I watched in disgust as he lost his balance and began to fall sideways off his stool. In the process, he slammed into the beauty standing next to him, causing her to lose her balance. She reached out to try to grab onto something, but her flailing arms found nothing but air.
Instinctively, I reached out and caught her around the waist and pulled her toward me and away from him. She was such a light little thing I inadvertently lifted her onto my lap. She landed on my thighs with a little ‘umph’ as she grabbed my waist for balance. Unable to help myself, I inhaled her sweet scent - almost like vanilla with a touch of cinnamon; not like that strong, sense-clogging perfume used by so many of the women I knew.
“Whoa, you okay there?” I asked her.
“Oh, my gosh! I’m so sorry…” She stopped talking as our eyes met for the first time. Or at least I didn’t hear anything else. Her voice was almost like honey, soothing and quiet, calming my tired soul like a comfortable blanket. My mind went blank when I looked into her beautiful hazel eyes. There was no hidden agenda in the green and gold specks that broke up a warm brown, just a genuine look of gratitude alongside a certain wariness. Wearing a dark blue pair of jeans and a white button down shirt, she was much more modestly dressed than the blonde I’d sized up of a few moments ago. A sparkly pink scarf decorated her neck hinting that beneath the conservative exterior there was a spark of playfulness. To me, she was much more attractive for leaving something to the imagination, although pressed against me as she was, I didn’t need to imagine the full curves underneath those clothes.
Her eyes darted across my face and she appeared to be appraising me as well. She focused on my eyes as though she could see into me if she looked hard enough. Her look drew me in. I wanted to pull her closer and go ahead and let her see inside, feeling as if she could soothe all the pain and anger I tried to keep locked up. At the same time, I wanted to hold and protect her from whatever caused that look of caution, almost fear, that abounded in her eyes.
What the hell just happened to me? I had never had these thoughts before. She noticed my intense gaze and her cheeks began to turn the cutest shade of pink. I couldn’t remember the last time I’d seen a woman blush; usually they were so forward I was the one who was embarrassed for them.
“Thank you for catching me,” she said. “That might have ended badly otherwise.”
My mind snapped back to attention when she began to push off of me. I doubt she noticed, but her second hand had settled on my crotch when she landed in my lap, and the gentle pressure she was asserting had it starting to rise and twitch in anticipation of more.
I grabbed her wrist gently. “I’m afraid I’m going to have to ask you not to push too hard there.”
She tilted her head sideways, not immediately understanding my words until I gestured with my eyes at our hands. I knew the instant she figured it out because her pink cheeks turned bright red and she jerked her hand away.
“Oh,” she gasped. “I…I’m so, so sorry!” she said as she carefully crawled off me.
“Trust me, it was my pleasure,” I teased, glancing at my lap.

RELEASE BLITZ with #GIVEAWAY: Dear Diary by M.B. Feeney

The brilliant and loving Mich Feeney has joined the Magic of Books Promotions team. Her talents and expertise will shoot the promotional company into the stars and beyond. To help welcome her into the family, as owner of the company, I present the newest book of the author and friend she has become to me.

Born and bred in the UK, Holly is getting the chance of a lifetime—six weeks abroad. The Kings, a host family in the US, have invited her to stay with them and get a chance to experience life as an American. When she discovers that the King family includes two teenage boys, will she be glad she came or ready to hightail it back across the pond?

M. B. Feeney is an army brat who finally settled down in Birmingham, UK with her other half, two kids and a dog. Currently at university studying for her BA (Hons) in primary teaching, she procrastinates on her assignments by listening to music of all genres and trying to get ‘just one more paragraph’ written on whichever WIP is open. She is also a serious doodler and chocoholic. Writing has been her one true love ever since she could spell, and publishing is the final culmination of her hard work and ambition.
Her publishing career began with two novellas, and she currently has multiple projects under way whilst Honour, a compilation of her own military based shorts, was released in November 2013 and her short novel, The One That Got Away was released February 2015. Always having something on the go can often lead to block which eventually gets dissolved by good music and an even better book.
Her main reason for writing is to not only give her readers enjoyment, but also to create a story and characters that stay with readers long after the book is finished, and possibly make someone stop and think “what if...”

I've only just met Mich, but I already see a lifelong friend. Her talents go far beyond writing. She's a thankless mother of two, a loving woman to her soulmate, and is always thinking of her friends before herself. Maybe that's one of the reasons she's gone into teaching; a chance to shape the young minds of our future writers. I'm so excited to spend time with a generous and loving personality like hers and to learn and grow from her wealth of expertise. My life will never be the same now that you have entered my life. Hmm, a personal testimony about Mich (M.B. Feeney) . . . Where to start! Shall I do this like a Best Man speech? Yeah, why not ...
*pouts that I don’t have a glass of bubbly to toast this awesome girl*
Well, I first ‘met’ Mich quite a few years ago. I can't remember the exact details, but knowing us two, we were probably up to no good. It was online, of course, but that didn’t stop us! We grew close as friends and then we cemented our friendship by meeting up in person. It was at a Twilight convention (don’t groan, it was a fun weekend! Lol).
Here’s what I’ve learned and loved about Mich over the years:
She is fiercely loyal to her friends and family. No matter what, she’s there. No matter what she’s going through herself, she’s there for her friends.
She has a slight music addiction (which we share). I’ve lost count on the artists we’ve talked about over the years lol.
She also adores her cowboy boots (The Boots Stay on!) I swear this addiction was brought on by Jackson Rathbone, but it’s not like I’d complain. Have you seen that man on stage? Phew!
She loves 1 Direction *coughs* Louis *coughs*
She is one hell of a kick arse author! Have you read her books? Damn, this girl can write! She sticks to normal men! Nope, there’s not a billionaire arsehole in sight, thank God!
She’s training to be a teacher. Now, props to her, because being in a classroom of 30+ kids all day . . . nah lol.
But the thing I love about Mich is this. She’s Mich. She puts on no front. What you see is what you get and that’s quite rare in an author. She hates putting herself out there. She hates pimping herself. She’ll bend over backwards for anyone, but ignores herself.
She is an awesome friend and I know that I can count on her for anything. I know she wants the publishing world to take her seriously, because she lives for books – reading and writing.
And Mich, when you get this, when you sit and read this . . . Thanks. Thanks for being such an amazing friend, an awesome author, and someone anyone can instantly love.
*raises cup of tea*

The moment I read M B Feeney’s first story, I knew I had discovered one seriously talented author. With a British flavour to each of her stories, M B builds strong, unique characters that draw the reader in until they can’t help but become invested. Her latest offering, Dear Diary (The Exchange Series Book 1) is no exception. A great start to what I anticipate will be a fantastic series. When she’s not busy with writing, her studies and family commitments, M B Feeney is 100 percent committed to supporting the indie writing community. She has not only read and reviewed hundreds, if not thousands of stories over the years, she has always been there to lend an ear, shoulder, or hand any way she can for countless numbers of people. On a personal level, I’ve known M B Feeney for well over 5 years. She is a true friend, mother, sister and confidante… a woman who is genuine, honest, and generous to a fault. (She is also quite partial to pear cider now and then too lol). She also encouraged me to take my first tentative step into the world of writing, and for that, I will be forever grateful. I can honestly say without a single doubt in my mind, that if it weren’t for one Ms M B Feeney, I would not have become a published author.

With stories set in England that are witty yet quirky, M.B. Feeney has a way with words that’ll suck you right into her fictional worlds. I'm proud to call her friend.

RELEASE BLITZ & #GIVEAWAY: Baubles and Beads by Cherime MacFarlane

Della Street Jones is everyone’s ‘good little girl’ and is tired of the label. Munk Riley is the skinny little thief she shared her lunch with until the family left the Copper Basin. Riley, caught by the Jones family, is given a chance to redeem himself and earns a diesel mechanic certification. All Munk wants is to marry Della and have all the things denied him growing up the only child of an alcoholic mother.
Taking a job without telling her, causes a blow out between them. Embarrassed, Della takes a live-in position at a remote lodge. She finds something that causes her to send an SOS to her family to get her out. Munk will do anything to get her back where she belongs. But does Della belong where everyone else thinks she does? Can they get out without waking the man who controls the underbelly of Alaska?

A tiny little twitch upward at the corners of her mouth at that statement made him groan. "Just this once in my life I want to have something start right. I want it to go the way it's supposed to. I want a preacher to say the words over us, then he'll tell us to kiss and I can take you home and make love to my wife all night long."
Letting go of her arms, Munk watched as she crossed both arms over her chest. "It's because of your mother. That's the reason you want to wait?"
Running both hands through his hair, he looked down at his shoes. "Partially, I guess. Ya, I've screwed other girls. I didn't think I had a hope in hell of winding up with you. After I figured out there might be a chance, I haven't been with another woman. I want it to be right. I want us to be shiny and bright like that bracelet is now, not like it's going to be when it tarnishes."
Her bare feet shuffled closer to him and Munk found his head pillowed against her chest. "I'm so sorry, love. I didn't understand. We'll do it your way. I don't want you to ever feel that way again."
Without thinking about it, his arms went around her. "What way?" he whispered.
"Like you don't matter. Like you're not good enough." Long, delicate fingers combed through his hair. The scent of her rose into his nostrils and he was almost in heaven. "You are a good man and I love you, Munro Lowell Riley. I love everything about you. But, can we at least get married as soon as this miserable job is over? Please?"
Pulling slightly backward, he looked up to find her face turned toward him. "If you get out of this dive. If we go to Palmer on your day off, we can get the damn license and swear to God, the day after I'm away from here we can get married. You can stay in the cabin and set the whole thing up. Have it at the Great grans’ place. I don't care who you invite, but the minute the ceremony is over, we're gone."
"But how are we going to get out of here? You don't have your truck, do you?"
"I'll get us out of here. Let me handle that. How about you tell me what brought this sex thing on? We've never had this come up before."
Della held his head in both hands and kissed him sweetly on the lips, then the forehead, before tugging him against her chest. "I had a dream. I had to go take a shower after it was over."
Breaking away from her, he stood and pushed her hair behind her ears. "You mean like a wet dream. You got hot for me?"
Cheeks flooding with color, Della nodded. "Yes. And I got tired of being everybody's good little girl. I asked Sandy about it and she told me guys like blowjobs."
The color in her cheeks deepened. "She said I was asking the wrong person 'cause she's into girls. And Sandy said I was a hottie."
"She didn't do anything, did she?"
"No. She said she wasn't a cheat and she has a partner at home. But she said a threesome might be fun."
The look on Della's face was so serious, Munk had a hard time holding in a laugh. "Okay, as long as she keeps her hands to herself, we're good."
Taking her wrists in his hands, Munk slowly backed Della toward the bed. "What did you do in the shower, Della? How did you fix it?"

Although born in New Orleans, I am proud to call myself an Alaskan. I have lived here since 1977. I have seen -40 degrees, hauled water, made bear bacon and I live in a cabin. I have used a fishwheel to catch salmon coming up the Copper River. I was my second husband's chief mechanic's helper and roadie. I have cut firewood on shares. I worked as a cocktail waitress during pipeline days in a small lodge on the Richardson Highway.
My second husband, a Scot from Glasgow, was the love of my life. When I write Scots dialect, I personally experienced hearing it from my in laws. When my husband got on the phone to Scotland, after 5 seconds I could barely understand a word.
We moved to Wasilla to get warm. It barely drops past -25 degrees here in the winter. I became a paralegal and worked for over 26 years for the same firm.
Alaska is my home. I never thought I would love it so much, I never want to leave. The beauty of Alaska is a draw I cannot resist. I love the people and the history. I have been captured by a place I came to under duress. Life does play some interesting tricks on one. My love and I were not apart more than 24 hours for 20 plus years. I never wanted to be anywhere but with him. He was a man to run the river with and was my biggest fan.

RELEASE TOUR: Dylan's Desire by JJ & TA Ellis
TITLE: Dylan's Desire
AUTHORS: JJ & TA Ellis
GENRE: Contemporary Romance Fiction
EDITOR: GimmeLots Publications Cover Designer: JJ Ellis
CONTENT WARNING: This work contains material that some may find offensive. A scene of moderate violence and some scenes of strong sexual content (NOT erotica)
Dylan usually gets what he wants…except for Nicoletta.
Resident bad boy and wilderness guide Dylan Harper lives life on his own terms, until one fateful night when an accident leaves him broken and rethinking his life. The man with one regret will come face to face with it when he least expects to. The only girl to tell him no, Nicoletta Ballas, is hired to help him with his recovery and is the only one who could destroy his heart and soul.
Nicoletta seems to always choose what isn’t good for her
Widowed nurse Nicoletta Ballas comes home after college, a disastrous marriage, and working for three years on a cruise ship. She is immediately thrown into the world she had run from when she left for nursing school at 18. Bad boy Dylan Harper was her childhood best friend but his promiscuity came between them. As they begin to reconnect, they are faced with a mysterious piece of her past that she thought was dead and buried. They and their love may or may not survive the pure evil that haunts her.
“This place hasn’t changed a bit,” Nicoletta said as they were seated by the front window. “We even got our old table.”
“How many times did we sit here?” Dylan asked thoughtfully. “Hundreds, if not thousands.”
“Good memories,” Nic said, her eyes dreamy. “I’m getting chili fries!”
“That’s not a healthy breakfast,” Dylan protested. A moment later, his head dropped to his chest. “God I’ve become my mother.”
“Nah,” she replied with a wink. “She thinks with her head. Are you getting an omelet? We could share.”
“They do still have the best omelets,” he said in response. “If we’re sharing, what kind she would we get?”
“Ham, mushrooms and Swiss sounds good to me,” she said, licking her lips.
“At least your taste in eggs and salad dressings hasn’t changed.” It was left unsaid which of her other tastes he thought may have evolved into something new.
Their server soon arrived and took their order. Her eyebrow raised at the mention of chili fries, but she just shrugged and headed to the kitchen to deliver the request.
“Man, getting out of the apartment kicked my ass,” Dylan complained with a yawn. “I can hardly wait to go back up the stairs.”
“I’ll be there to help you up,” Nic replied, chuckling. “If you’ll stop being stubborn and let me.” As she turned to look out the window her face suddenly dropped. “It can’t be.”
“What’s wrong, Nic?” Dylan asked concerned. He turned and looked out the window too. “What did you see?”
“Not what, who,” she replied, her body shaking. “I swore I just saw Vince.”
“I thought he was…umm…dead,” Dylan said. “It couldn’t have been him.” He was confused, shouldn’t she have been excited at the prospect of seeing her late husband? The look on her face at that exact moment bordered on terror.
With a low, shallow breath, she looked back at him. “I know, but the man looked so much like him,” she replied. “Well, with lighter hair and wearing sunglasses.”
“It was probably just someone else who looks similar,” Dylan said, caressing her trembling hand. “People say I look a lot like Tom Welling.”
Nicoletta giggled and the terror spell was broken. “Dylan, you’re no Superman.”
“The lady thinks she’s funny,” he replied with a smirk. “But looks aren’t everything.”
Nicoletta replied by sticking her tongue out and telling him he was number one with a gesture of her hand. Dylan laughed and returned the gesture with both hands.
“You’re number eleven since you have two holes,” he whispered across the table. He looked away from her and started to drink his coffee.
“Yeah, but I only like to have one filled,” she replied. “And it’s not the one you are thinking.”
Coffee spewed from Dylan’s mouth as he choked. While he sat there, sputtering, Nicoletta couldn’t help but laugh at her friend. Shocking him had always been one of her favorite pastimes.
After a moment, Dylan was able to breathe normally and stared at her serious expression. She either has one hell of a poker face, or…
“What’s wrong, Dylan?” she asked in a sweet innocent voice. “Been drinking long?”
His head fell back against the seat. “What has my mother gotten me into?”
“Not any of my holes,” Nic said smiling. Dylan’s head snapped up and his eyes slowly closed, his head dropping to his chest. Nicoletta then mouthed the word… ‘yet’.

JJ Ellis
JJ Ellis is first and foremost a mom to five kids, four girls and one boy, ranging in age from 4-19. After that, she is a physically limited wife, blogger and now an author. She holds a degree in Communication Studies (Public Relations) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas but never thought she would chose writing as a career, especially at the age of 42. She once wanted to be a publicist in the entertainment industry, but never a writer. Then one day when she was in her mid thirties she was going through what can only be described as an early 'midlife crisis' and ideas just started to come to her and she felt compelled to write them down. She finished her first book relatively quickly, but life got in the way and it took her eight years to revisit it and then publish her first novel. She can honestly say that now she is finally right where she wants to be.
JJ has been married to her college sweetheart (and romance novel hero) for twenty years and they reside in Casper, WY with their kids and one crazy mutt named Kreuger. She enjoys reading, writing, blogging, computing, and graphic design. She will try anything that will allow her creativity to be released.
TA Ellis
TA Ellis is married to best selling romance Author JJ Ellis and is the father to five kids, four girls and one boy, ranging in age from 4-19. He holds a degree in Secondary Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and has flirted with the idea of writing for years. He however did not expect to be writing romance as Sci-fi/horror/fantasy are more to his liking. But as a sounding board for his wife, he realized he had some good ideas and the team of JJ & TA Ellis was born.
TA lives in Casper, WY with his wife and kids and one crazy mutt named Kreuger. He enjoys reading, video games and grilling. He is excited to embark on this romance journey...after all, he's been happily married for twenty years.

Synopsis:Outlaw MC President Kellen and debutante/illegal arms dealer Vicki face many challenges before they can explore their interest in each other, beginning with staying alive. Sparks fly between the two when they meet for a gun deal, but Kellen doesn't know the Russian mob has put a price on Vicki's head. He and his Club could end up in the middle of all-out war as paid guns. Does Kellen like Vicki enough to risk his neck by getting involved? Can Vicki trust his help? Or is he another part of the trap her father's old foes have laid? How will she know the difference before it's too late?

"You'd better get rid of these clothes before I tear them off you, baby. I can't wait."
That voice grabbed him by the balls and spurred him on. Kellen stood long enough to kick off his boots and folded his cut across the back of the chair against the wall. Jeans and shirt followed. "You better get rid of that dress, little girl, before I finish ripping it off you."
A lazy smile curved her lips. "I dare you."
A surge of pure heat settled in his belly. "I was hoping you'd say that."
The torn edge of her gown felt thin as tissue between his fingers as he lifted it away from her body. The tear ended at the top of her shapely thigh, tempting him to rip it the rest of the way and reveal all of her. But no. He'd looked forward to this moment too much to rush. He fully intended to take his sweet time. Instead of devouring her immediately, he dropped to his knees beside the bed. The fancy shoes intrigued him, the way they emphasized the delicate arch of her foot and the fragile bones of her ankle. Rather than remove them, he kissed along the curve of her instep and found his way to her calf. An impatient noise came from her and she moved to pull away, but he held her fast.
"Kellen, please, this is not time for foreplay." She hissed a little when his tongue found the back of her knee.
"Little girl, this ain't foreplay. This is me making every inch of you mine." The moan of frustration she made brought a smile to his lips. She would be as finely tuned to him as his bike before he finished, ready to respond to his every thought.

RELEASE TOUR: Stolen Art by Ruth Silver

Sixteen-year-old Madeline has been living on the streets, refusing to be part of the foster system. Biding her time until she's eighteen, with little to no money, she takes on a heist in hopes of making ends meet. What could possibly go wrong?
Everything.
Getting caught is just the beginning of Madeline's adventure as she meets Weston and discovers the secret of where she came from. A dark and sinister past begins to emerge, and forces Madeline to come face to face with the unexpected.
Is it possible that she isn't who she thought she was? What happens when she is has to accept the reality of what is actually real?

I rush back up the dark stairwell, shoving the key into the doorknob. It takes a minute for the lock to click and I push myself inside the apartment, securing every lock and deadbolt. I can’t stay here in Hutchinson, Kansas any longer. Pulling my phone from my purse, I text Weston.
Tatiana is here. It’s not safe for me.
I grab the few belongings that have any value to me, sentimental or otherwise, and shove it into my shoulder bag, including the stolen silver necklace. It has value and if I’m forced on the run, I’ll need money to survive.
I know.
What did Weston mean he knew Tatiana is at the bar? Had he seen her? Is he there?
What do you mean, you know? I type into the phone. If he saw her, why didn’t he warn me? I can’t go down out the front door and it’s only a matter of time until she finds me just a few feet away. I grow restless waiting for an answer.
The phone buzzes and displays an incoming call from Weston. "Wes, tell me you’re here." The only thing to do is hop in his car and drive into the night, far from Kansas.
A female’s voice bubbles with laughter. "Oh he’s coming darling, but you should know he won’t get here in time. Amazing how easy it is to clone a phone number and steal his service. The advancements Stem Tech has made is encouraging."

RELEASE BLITZ with #GIVEAWAY: Tin by K.S. Thomas

Men and I are done. Whatever entertaining notions I enjoy while screwing around with the random guys that cross my path, are exactly that. Entertaining.
I don’t want more. I’m not capable of more. More would mean feeling. Would entail wanting. Desiring. And a slew of other emotions I haven’t experienced in over three years. And it’s not due to any stupid naïve intention of trying to keep my heart from breaking, nor is it as a result of having it broken by some poor slob who should have known better.
I can’t feel. I don’t have a heart. Period. And it's going to take more than following some magic yellow brick road to get me a new one. Even if that road does lead straight to Riker ~The only soul on earth who's as close to being dead as I am... and brings me as close to being alive as I'll ever be.

It’s been a week. One whole goddamn week. Every day I tell myself she’ll turn up before the sun does. Then, when she doesn’t, I go to work, convinced I’ll find her here when I get back. I don’t know why I tell myself such bullshit. I’ve never been much for denial in the past. For some reason this time I just can’t get a fucking grip on things. I knew it could happen. Actually, I was pretty damn sure she would bolt as soon as I told her everything. I don’t even know why I knew that, other than she’s a creature of flight who lives in constant fear of being the cause of someone else’s pain.
Ironic, really. Considering how much she’s fucking hurting me by being gone. Only she can’t see that. Or maybe she does. I don’t know. I just know she believes staying will hurt me more than leaving. She’s fucked up in the head that way. Fucked up in the heart. Fucked up to her very core. And if I ever find the bastard who fucked her up, I’ll kill him.
Her flight for California departs in less than five days. I’m guessing Kirsten will show up on day six to collect all of the stuff Quinn couldn’t carry on foot when she left here in the middle of the night. I had half a mind to offer her a ride, but she seemed hell-bent on sneaking out, so eventually, I just faked sleep to make it easier on her. But it’s been a motherfucking week. And I’m done faking sleep and making shit easier for her. If she wants out, I’m going to make her tell me. To my face. And then I’m going to convince her she’s wrong.
