Friday reading...
I'm hoping to spread the word on Thirty Seconds To Die and really get it out there!!! If anyone is an Amazon reviewer, a Goodreads superstar, or has a blog I'd love to give you a copy of TSTD to read and review. When everyone who reads it and love it - how do you get it to other people? Word of mouth. I can't do it without any of you, so thank you to everyone who has talked about TSTD, suggested it to people, reviewed it, blogged about it, etc.
THANK YOUThirty Seconds to Die

Taking flight...
It's so fun to watch Thirty Seconds take off and spread it's wings.
When I finally get this next manuscript (Terrible Lies) together… it’ll be worth the wait. I promise. Keep hanging in there guys.
I want to thank you all so much for your continued support. I really appreciate all your encouraging emails and messages. I try my best to reply, but don’t always have the time to reply to all of them right away. Family and writing get first dibs on my time.
Also, if you'd like to win a signed copy of TSTD, head over to my Facebook page and become click the LIKE button!
April will be a busy month and I'll be announcing giveaways.
Have an amazing weekend. Happy Easter!

DId your Genius show up today?...
I know, I’m a terrible blogger. But, truth is, I feel bad blogging when I don't feel like I have much to say:/
I’ve been under the weather this week. In my haze of fog brain from having a cold I've actually been writing quite a bit. As much as I'm pushing myself to keep with my early summer release for the second book in the TSTD series, the story is in control here. It has a time frame that’s unique only to this book. It can’t be hurried and warped into an easy submission. So, I will give it the time it needs and commit to late summer.
I think it can be said with some amount of conviction that all creative works have time frames. And as authors, readers, artists or whatever you create, creativity is its own being within us. Creativity is willful and organic. If it were easily tamed and submissive, the creative world would lose what draws us most to it. It’s beautiful, wondrous, alluring…entertaining.
I think it's nice to believe, as Elizabeth Gilbert said in her TED talk, the idea that we have a genius who is something outside of us, is comforting. He (my genius happens to be a he) has to show up for his part in the creative process. This way of thinking helps us not beat ourselves over the head with the empty bottle of liquor when the writing is stuck in a thick gooey mess somewhere in our brain. Beat the genius when he doesn’t show up for his part.
Let the words flow, celebrate your creativity and when the work is done, pat your genius on the back.
Have a lovely weekend.

World Book Day...
Seems like a great day to stay in my jammies (if it weren't for taking kids to school). You know that kind of day? Where you don't care that it's raining outside. You know the kind of day where you spend the whole day cozied up with a full pot of coffee, and a new book to read? Housework and laundry are left for the house fairies to come and magically do the work.
Enjoy the day. Share a book, give one away or donate one to a great cause.
