Book 4 Published...Finally!
Book 4 is published and holy hell am I relieved! This was the hardest book I've written. Hopefully, none of the ones to come will be so hard. Vampire book for the hubby next. Then another Zombie Overload. Then either my first in a YA/Teen zombie series, or another paranormal book. Who knows?

Hello New Year!
2012 is gone and although I had some bad things happen-Who doesn't?-I also had some amazing things happen.
One of those things was when I thought I was literally DYING from the long stupid break between The Walking Dead shows. Torture! And it really sucked.
Insane with the need for my zombie fix, I threw a tantrum, then settled down with my laptop and started writing my own undead story.
My husband read it and told me how great it was, how I should publish it, etc. etc. Of course, I didn't believe it was that great and he HAS to say those things, being my hubby and all.
Then my teenaged son read it. Little background info on him; if he hates something, he says so. If something is stupid, he says so. He doesn't care who you are!
When he repeated almost the same things his dad said to me, I decided, "Why not?"
I published the first book (teaser, really) and anxiously awaited the reviews. I expected most family and friends to say good things, and although it made me feel good, I still wasn't sure how they REALLY felt.
And then the reviews started coming in from people I never heard of. And they were all good!
Talk about an incredible feeling! The emails started coming in with people requesting updates, just wanting to tell me how much they liked the books, and even some telling me what parts scared them, made them cry, and pissed them off. They all want MORE MORE MORE! And I'm happy to oblige.
At this time, I've not received a bad review. Expecting them? Sure. Prepared for them? I like to think so, but I suspect it'll hurt a bit anyway. At least I'll still have the good reviews and emails to get me through it.
So in 2012, I released my first three books in this series...actually my first three books, period. I'm working on the fourth and I'm as excited to get it finished as my fans are for it to be released...they may argue that, though.
I'm hoping 2013 will prove to be much better than 2012, and that YOUR new year will be even better than mine.
CHEERS!
