Accused Criminal Stated 'DIABOLICAL ELF' Protected Him From Capture!

An eight-month investigation by the National Police in Huila led to the arrest of Kevin Orlando Arias Forero, a 23-year-old man known by the alias Kevin and described by the authorities as a dangerous criminal. He admitted to the police that he was not immune to a “diabolical elf.”

This subject was wanted for possible responsibility in the murder of Jeison Fernando Díaz Fierro, a well-known photographer from the department who was attacked in April 2024 in Pitalito; during that incident, Leonardo Santos Jiménez was also injured and later died in a hospital.

Intelligence units focused on his movements and he was located in that region with a firearm, a motorcycle, and santeria items. The latter caught the attention of a uniformed officer, who questioned him about the material and assured him that the objects served to avoid pursuit by the authorities.

"When asked by one of the police officers who captured him about a rag doll he was carrying, Kevin replied: 'It's the evil elf that protected me, I fell because I didn't pray to it this morning,'" the institution stated. Apparently, every day, at 4:00 am, he dedicated himself to prayer and the day he was caught he didn't do it.

During the procedure, the criminal tried to escape on a motorcycle, ran over a member of the National Police, and, finally, collided with a vehicle that facilitated his capture. He was placed at the disposal of the Attorney General's Office to answer for the crime.

The institution's version is that this subject represents a risk to society due to his high level of dangerousness. He has eleven annotations in the Oral Accusatory Penal System for the crimes of homicide, illegal possession of firearms, qualified theft, and escape of prisoners.

“The Huila Police Department reiterates its commitment to public safety and thanks the community for its support and information, which was key to achieving this important result. We invite everyone to continue reporting any criminal activity through our emergency lines,” the institution added.

Hunter Recently Reported BIGFOOT SIGHTING in Richland County, Ohio

WASHINGTON, TWP. - A Mansfield man has reported a sasquatch sighting to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO). Andrew Baum, 35, of Mansfield, reported on December 28, 2024, that he saw what he thought was a sasquatch while hunting with his step-father on 150 acres of farmland that straddles Interstate 71 in Richland County, Ohio.

"Me (Andrew Baum) 35 and my stepdad Shawn (50s) are both from Mansfield Ohio. We went out to set up a tree stand around 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. By the time we got it all set up it was still light but right before it started to get dark around 4:00 p.m.. I climbed up after my stepdad tried it out. He said you can see everything from up there because mostly all the trees have no leaves. You can see fields and everything all around tree lines and fields even a highway out past that," Baum explained in his report.

"I got up there, sat down, and looked out over the first field to where it ends at a tree line. Then I scanned the next field and saw it. I say "it" because it was a bigfoot or a very big person fast moving across the wide open field. It had fast big steps, not running but still covering ground faster than someone should. It seemed very odd. I had no phone or equipment with me at that moment because I was just up there. I see what the view will be. I was looking only with eyes."

WMFD spoke with the property owner who said he was aware of the report and the hunters had permission to hunt on his land. The property owner declined an interview and said he was not interested in any publicity and did not want to attract trespassers.

A follow-up investigation and post were recorded on the BFRO's website. Founder and President of the BFRO Matt Moneymaker recorded the following findings, "I and Ohio BFRO Investigator Brain DeyErmand spoke with witness Andrew Baum by phone. His stepdad could be heard in the background."

"We concluded that he is credible, and the report is legitimate. The question in this case is whether it was a misinterpretation, specifically whether it was a human walking across the field rather than a sasquatch."

I got up there, sat down, and looked out over the first field to where it ends at a tree line. Then I scanned the next field and saw it. It was dark in color. I'd say black or even dark brown. From that distance [~1,000 feet] it is hard to tell the exact color. The dark figure was very noticeable because it was moving across the light color of the wheat stubble field. That is what caught my attention. I was looking for deer and saw that thing, and I almost freaked out.

I got off the stand to tell my stepdad. By the time he climbed up there, it was out of sight. The view angle was blocked as it moved toward a tree line.

I went back up and got down after a bit. I looked around at tons of deer tracks, deer trails, deer scat, and tons of recently used bedding areas. It is a deer hot spot. The land is all privately owned. We're using a small section off Hanley Road.

I was thinking about it all the way to the truck. It was definitely something big and fast. Similar to other stories I heard in the past around here.

ALSO NOTICED: One little spot in our patch of woods is a tree break that looked out of place, not from a person or deer

OTHER WITNESSES: Just me but my stepdad saw my reaction and tried to climb up the stand to see but it wasn't in time

OTHER STORIES: Not this exact area but within Richland County, yes. Down by Cook Road woods area, a neighborhood friend said he had an experience in that area and we never really believed it but this kind of makes it make much more sense.

TIME AND CONDITIONS: Evening time it gets darker in Ohio this time of the year. First pretty decent temperature day all week after a little rain the days before. So we went out to set on a tree stand around 3pm-3:30pm by the time we got it all set up it was still light but right before it started to get dark around 4pm. I went up after my stepdad tried it out and said you can see a lot from up there because the trees have no leaves.

ENVIRONMENT: Fields of farmland, patches of woods of all sizes, then more fields. Not to far away from a major highway -- 71. Few houses in the area, a farm nearby but mostly woods and fields.

We concluded that he is credible, and the report is legitimate. The question in this case is whether it was a misinterpretation, especially whether it was a human walking across the field rather than a sasquatch.

Andrew's perception that it was a sasquatch rather than a human he was seeing at that distance, was due to the speed that it moved across the field. Andrew observed a walking pace of brisk strides rather than a full-out run. Andrew knew a human would need to be running at top speed across to cover the same distance so fast. He could tell that it had to be very tall and taking long strides.

That is a distinguishing feature of what a sasquatch will look like from a distance. Not only will it be big and dark, but it will cover ground much more quickly than a human.

The speed at which the figure crossed the field eliminates the possibility of a human, in my opinion as well. Even if the dark bipedal figure was 1,000 away (so that fur texture won't be clearly visible) it is still a Class A sighting rather than a Class B (which is a possible sighting, but less certain than Class A) because all other reasonable alternatives have been eliminated.

RED-EYED 'GARGOYLE' Floating Along Uvas Creek in Gilroy, California

"I turned towards the creek and looked at the bend not expecting to see what I saw, from behind the trees and shrubs was a red-eyed, black devilish gargoyle."

I received the following account:

"About 15 years ago I was living along the Uvas Creek in my hometown of Gilroy, California. It was late summer around 12:30 am to shortly after 1:00 am when my two other companions and I heard a screaming sound of death coming farther down from us. I was already planning to go outside to check on my neighbor's tent close to where we heard that high-pitched cry of something being killed. The tent was empty like it should be. I started to take the trail back to my spot it wasn't very dark because the moon was going to be full. I was almost in front of my spot when I heard the sound of air three times - woosh, woosh, woosh.

I turned towards the creek and looked at the bend not expecting to see what I saw, from behind the trees and shrubs was a black devilish gargoyle-looking bat-winged 8 to 10-foot tall red-eyed, red-mouthed floating, not flying, creature. Its skin is a dense rubbery type of skin, now remember he's floating past me, not knowing I was watching him. In my head I repeated don't look at me, don't look at me, over and over staying perfectly still. It continued to float past, and my friend looking out for me, said, 'What are you doing?' I said, 'Come here, come here.' As the creature approaches the next bend, Rich sees the back of it, and says to me, 'WTF was that?'

Well for the past 15 years, I've told my story of that night hoping someone would believe me. Well you know what happens, people think you are crazy. Finally, this year 2024, four others say they also have seen it in the past 6 months twice. The thing that really bothers me is how could it stay up in the air only flapping its wigs three times he was huge? No way! It's impossible. It was going too slow to stay up, BUT IT DID. I know what I saw that night and nothing is going to change my mind." S

FACT: Many of Us Have a FOOT IN BOTH WORLDS

Don't fret about what other people think or comment about regarding your personal encounters and abilities. Each of us is unique. We all perceive on a different level or frequency.

I received the following account:

"Hi, Lon. First off, I'm writing to you because I've read Phantoms and Monsters for quite a long time now, and I greatly respect the way you report things and how you try to protect people. I'm hoping that maybe you can shed light on some things.

I'm very nervous writing to you. Not that anyone will find out who I am or think I or my family is strange. That boat sailed a long time ago. My family down all sides has a long history of strangeness (true stories got me banned from sleepovers, for example, growing up). Different ones of us have different abilities, but we all see black dogs. I currently have wards set up on my windows and doors due to something that knocks and scratches, and it just goes on and on. I've been told by others that our family is cursed or that we walk in both worlds. I've seen things I know for a fact are there that others in the paranormal field have told me are not real and don't exist because they don't know of them. As I'm looking right at it.

Could I possibly tell you about some of these things? Perhaps get your advice as to what is currently hanging around my house, setting my animals off and freaking out my son? At the very least that, and your advice on a dream that has yet to fade after weeks and is one of the very very few to ever truly scare me. (And considering I've had dreams that really happened, that's saying something.)

I'm honestly afraid, after so many telling me I'm just stupid, that you're going to say you don't have time or don't believe me. I know my truth and my family's truth, but no one I've known who was Wiccan or Christian or open-minded or whatever you want to call it has ever been able to truly explain a thing to me. We just do what we do, sometimes know things or even words we shouldn't, and try not to react when we see things in a crowd.

My husband saw a flying humanoid as a child. It hung around our backyard at the house I grew up in. I saw it, my folks did, it'd dive bomb us at night, and my husband was chased by it (he's 6 years younger - he was 8 at the time and lived down the road from me, so this would have been about 1996/97). There have been ghosts, black dogs, things that have never been human, time slips, and UFO sightings. This family is either completely insane going back generations (according to most) or we really do have a foot in both worlds. Please let me know." C

Iraq War Soldier Recalls Bizarre DAEVA Manifestations!

An Iraq War veteran recalls a supernatural creature that he has drawn, and then later observed on 2 occasions while on duty. Was this a thoughtform manifestation?

I received the following account:

"There I was, bored in the combat zone (Iraq) drawing a picture, it was of the scenery, a few hills some dead grass, a tree stump. On the stump, I decided to draw a creature, humanoid, like a pigmy werewolf, four-foot something, with claws, and teeth. The commander shows up, calls us in for a mission, and I put away my drawing.

Weeks later, we are in an abandoned base, staying in some new buildings, with no windows, doors, or anything, just the concrete bones, and openings for the installation of these things. Every night, we had to set up a watch, it took the whole platoon to cover the building, minus a few per floor, to run to reinforcements. I was one such reinforcement, sitting in an empty room, in the dark. After a while I noticed that I was not alone, I looked up and the thing I drew was sitting on the ceiling staring at me, I stared back, gripping my M-249 waiting for something to happen, when my team leader came in, asking if I'm okay. As I tell him yes, he walks over to one of the holes where the window would be, looks out, turns back, and asks, "Did you see that?"

Later, near the Iran border, we stayed at another abandoned base, a bunch of classrooms spread between six buildings, all are one floor, with walls that don't reach the ceilings. I had just gotten off a guard shift, came back into my room, and my buddy was in there, staring at the ceiling, I looked up, and there it was. Again, "What is that?" my buddy asked, Just then our squad leader came in asking what we were doing. We explained, but it was gone again. Never saw it in the country again.

Fast forward several years, I got injured in Iraq from faulty equipment, got a medical discharge, and got on with my life. One day I'm in a bookstore, and I find this book on demons. I flip through it, and there it is. The same thing I drew, the same thing I saw, twice, at two different locations. It is referred to as a Daeva. Preceding a personal injury that plagues me to this day." W

Truck Driver Believes He Twice Encountered BIGFOOT in North Central Pennsylvania

Back in the early 1970s, during the oil embargo, a truck driver had two separate experiences in which he believed that he encountered a Bigfoot in rural Pennsylvania.

I received the following account:

"Hello. My dad drove a truck during the 1970s oil embargo. One night he broke down in rural Pennsylvania, several miles north of Williamsport. He had to walk down the highway a couple miles back to a restaurant to use the phone and call dispatch.

After the phone call, he walked back to the truck. There was no moon, and because of the oil embargo, the highway was deserted.

From the treeline on the side of the highway came the crack of an enormous tree branch breaking, and then some movement. My dad stopped and called out. He thought it might be someone fooling around or a hunter in the woods, odd as that would be at that time of night.

No answer came from the trees, and my dad continued toward his busted rig. But all the way to the truck he was sure he heard something following him from the trees, matching his own footsteps. He locked himself in the truck and waited, uneventfully, until help arrived.

Another night, again in 1970s North Central Pennsylvania, in the mountains, a strange figure ran in front of my dad's truck. It looked to my dad, who had not heard of Bigfoot yet, that it was a man in a gorilla costume.

When he arrived at his destination he told some of the men working there what he had seen, and asked if any of them had seen a guy in a gorilla costume running around in the mountain roads.

They thought my dad was nuts.

Those are my dad's two experiences with what he believes was Bigfoot." E

The COVENTRY STREET 'VAMPIRE' Hysteria!

Though the legend of the Highgate ‘vampire’ continues to intrigue and be discussed, something just as wicked occurred several decades before, in the West End at Coventry Street.

In 1922 a giant bat-like creature had been seen in the vicinity of West Drayton Church. An old man who claimed he had seen the giant bat twenty-five years previously, maintained that it was the spirit of a vampire who had murdered a woman to drink her blood in Harmondsworth in the 1890s. No one took the oldster's tale seriously. Then, on the 16th of April 1922 so began a series of attacks on the general public which bore all the marks of a blood-sucking assailant. Several people witnessed a tall black creature with wings (similar to Mothman) flying around a church. They say that it went into the church cemeteries and ran around the graves. Two policemen chased it and it let out an awful scream and flew away. For a short period, the bustling metropolis of London was on vampire alert.

It was 6am and a local clerk was walking to work, heading down Coventry Street. Suddenly he was accosted from the shadows by an unseen form which bit him in the throat. The man collapsed unconscious to the floor and awoke in Charing Cross Hospital where he told the surgeons of his grim encounter. His tale seemed too far-fetched to the doctors, they believed he’d been stabbed in the neck. Then, just over two hours later, another attack took place. A second man was rushed to the hospital and had the same encounter to speak of as blood trickled from his throat. He’d been attacked by an invisible predator at exactly the same spot.

As the hospital staff attempted to solve the mystery, during late evening another man was attacked, his throat punctured by an unseen assailant at exactly the same spot – the turning just off Coventry Street. The police could not fathom as to what had happened and the press were quick to lap up the grisly rumors that a vampire-like attacker was on the loose, with the Daily Mail reporting on the sinister encounters. A reporter boldly and yet sarcastically asked the police if a vampire could be on the loose, and the officer replied nervously, “That’s all!” and left the conference.

As hysteria rose in the area. There was a rumor that the police hired a vampire hunter, who chased the being and stabbed him in the heart with a stake. The corpse was taken to Highgate Cemetery - soon after the attacks stopped.

The story may sound like a piece of horror fiction, but how uncanny that a handful of decades later a bizarre, vampire-like specter would be seen to haunt and attack within the confines of the gloomy cemetery.

CREEPY! THE BOY IN THE MANGROVE

In the Spring of 2004, I spent some time traveling throughout Florida. It's interesting how many stories you hear simply by asking people about their part of the state. One of these tales was told to me by a young woman named Jackie, at a vegetable stand near Clewiston, Florida. We sat and talked while under a canvas canopy during an afternoon thunderstorm. I made as many mental notes as possible, later transferring my thoughts to words on my laptop. I uncovered this particular narrative in an older file located in a deep recess of my hard drive.

"I was 17 and it was during a holiday break from school. One morning I was lying in bed, watching my TV. My mother walked in and said that we were going to go canoeing on the Kissimmee River, and my aunt and cousin coming along with us. I quickly got out of bed and we all headed out. When we got there, there was hardly anyone there and it was very breezy and colder than usual. It took my aunt and cousin almost 30 minutes to arrive.

We grabbed two canoes from one of the rental places. My aunt, cousin, and I got in one canoe and were pushed off the shore first. My mom, dad, and sister were behind. Once they were in the water, we all started paddling.

We had been on the water for about an hour enjoying the scenery and the time together, when I spotted something moving in the water. I looked down into the water and I saw a human figure swimming beneath us. The water was extremely shallow, and the figure moved in and out of the mangroves and weeds effortlessly. I looked closely and noticed that it was a young boy in his early teens with long blonde hair.

I gasped in shock and fear as my family heard me and showed concern. The boy looked at me with piercing red eyes. I sensed evil and sadness. Upon seeing me, the boy turned his head and swam away into deeper water. Once I had realized what had just happened, I noticed that my family was around me. "What's wrong? Are you OK?" I nodded my head. "I'm just fine."

When I gathered my senses, I thought that maybe I saw something else in the water, but it still scared me. "It was nothing," I replied. My mom said "OK" and then we all continued with our sightseeing. But only a few minutes had passed when something else occurred.

I was looking all around, enjoying the scenery, when I saw the boy again. This time, I focused my eyes through the layers of thick mangrove trees and saw the boy staring back at me with a scowling angry face. His large bright red eyes were glaring back at me. I immediately got the feeling that we had passed through his territory and that we needed to get out of there as soon as possible.

We had entered an open area of the river, but I was still focused on the boy in the mangrove. The wind started to pick up quickly and the temperature started to drop. My cousin was standing, taking a video of the area with her video camera. My aunt was holding her legs from behind. As I continued staring at the boy, the wind got worse. The boat tipped slightly, and my cousin lost her balance and fell into the water. I quickly looked away from the boy, as I watched my cousin tumble into the water. I stood and reached out my arm to her. Then I remembered the boy and his evil expression. I looked back at the mangrove where I had seen him before. He wasn't there.

I panicked. I needed to reach my cousin as soon as possible and pull her back on the boat. The boy was gone and I feared if he would do harm to my cousin. She was desperately trying to grab my and my aunt's hands to get back on the boat. I was screaming loudly "Get out! Get out!." She finally reached my hand and I quickly pulled her back into the boat. She was fine, but I was shaking and more upset than her.

After a few minutes, I told everyone that I wanted to go back. I was worried for the remainder of our time on the water. When we finally got back to shore, I just happened to spot the boy again as he rose up in the low-hanging mangrove. He gave me a hideous wink and rolled his eyes back as he faded away. It made me shudder in horror.

Suddenly I heard "Ouch, my back hurts!" My cousin was in pain and yelled out, just after the boy faded away. I lifted her shirt and to everyone's shock, her entire back was a huge black and blue bruise. Everywhere you look on her back she has dark marks. "I don't even remember getting hurt," she said. "You must have hit a stump under the water or something?" I told her. I knew full well that the boy had something to do with it. My aunt was emotionally beside herself and insisted we go to the hospital so my cousin could be treated.

Several years later, I returned to the canoe rental place. It was now a bait and tackle store with docks. I asked some of the men working on a boat motor about the history of the place after telling them of my previous experience there. They told me that many years ago a boy in his teens was playing around with his friends, in the same area where my family and I were canoeing. One of his friends placed a bet with him to see who could hold their breath the longest. The boy was from a poor family and wanted the money desperately. After they competed, the friend noticed that his partner was floating face down. When he touched him to tell him that he had won, there was no reaction. He quickly pulled him out of the water, then went to go get help.

The poor boy had wanted the money so badly that he drowned in an attempt to hold his breath longer than his friend. When his parents learn of their son's death, they are so distraught that both commit suicide before the boy is buried. No one knew what happened to the boy's body.

I walked toward one of the docks and looked out over the thick mangroves, and there he was. I clearly saw him standing there with his long blond hair, looking at me with sorrow on his face. But this time he had light blue eyes. I smiled at him and then waved. I turned to walk away, quickly glancing back in his direction. The boy was gone, but I knew he'd be there forever."

Centre County, PA Bowhunter Encounters ORANGE-EYED CRYPTID CANINE He Believes is Demonic!

The Centre County, Pennsylvania bow hunter describes his encounter with a bright orange-eyed cryptid canine creature that he believes was a demonic incarnation.

I received the following account in the Phantoms & Monsters Radio comments:

"I had my dogman experience 8 years ago in Central Pennsylvania (Centre County). At first, it was flanking my father and me to our left in the dark during archery season at around 4:30 AM while walking to the area where we wanted to hunt. It would stop when we stopped and continue when we did.

That thing waited until we were separated and my dad went off the trail to his spot before it showed itself to me, almost like it was waiting for me to be alone. These things can somehow choose when they want to be seen. Like they disappear and reappear at their own discretion.

That scared me badly. I am a U.S. Marine and an Afghanistan combat veteran who wasn't afraid of anything until that morning. Before this happened, I had never even heard of Dogman or Werewolves, except in the movies.

After that ordeal, I did a lot of research because I needed an explanation or closure and found out this has been going on in Centre, Clinton, and Clearfield Counties since the 1800s. That was the last time I went hunting because I was terrified.

I am a professional gunsmith, custom rifle builder, and 600yd/1000yd BR Competitive shooter who does not hunt because I am afraid to go back in the woods in the dark. I lost friends over this that didn't believe me and know damn well I am an honest man who holds the value of integrity high and some tried to tell me I had mistaken a bear for this thing. I know what a black bear looks like especially when it is 40 feet away standing there looking in my direction, almost like it was grinning at me.

I am 6'0" tall, 165 lbs. This thing looked to be slightly taller than me with eyes that glowed like two big lit cigars. I felt deep in my gut that it was a demonic or nefarious type of entity that was somehow able to take physical form and could hurt people. I still feel that way like it's a spawn or creation of the devil as crazy as that may sound." H
