Combinatorial Christmas Poem!

You might imagine Christmas in the Rockies,

Or in Boston to stuff your stockings,

What if in different realms you have both,

A holiday in the South, than in the North.

 

Like in Miami one time, and in Seattle another,

You can chose two out of so many,

Or three depending on all combinations,

So out of many worlds, you may be in any.

Multiple by the same,

And so the same will be in name,

How can this help our daily woes?

It can as our knowledge grows.

 

So Randy has a matrix of realms he must,

Find his target there to trust.

And will Anton still be there the same?

Or will Randy just have his name?

 

 

Time series poem??

How can things change over time?

As their rhythm and rhyme?

Will we can always try time series.

To see if we get what we please.

 

So in one world does it change or stand still,

Randy can check the variance at will.

So once he could predict the time when,

He catches Anton if he can.

So you have an association,

You think it’s smart,

But could there be other factors,

Driving it from the start?

 

That’s what the partial correlation,

Is for so we can check,

And even Randy can use it,

To see if from the clutches of Anton, he can get Jane back.

So some may have a yes,

Same have a no,

Two could have different outcomes,

On different channels to give a go.

 

So we can choose each column,

Or none.

Just like in any story,

We can see with which one we are done.

 

Bayesian Poem!

You have the prior,

Make it known,

But with the likelihood,

It’s still not set in stone.

 

But maybe there is a chance,

For your team to win!**

And so the posterior may show you,

If and a celebration will begin.

How can Randy find?

In which world it is

That Anton is one of a kind?

 

Are there other factors,

That could confound,

Ah, thus we have the balanced design,

So our results can truly astound.
