Is it weird being Asian?

YH it’s so weird being from that one Asian race which has that one Asian ethnicity. Every morning I wake up and go brush my teeth with rice and then ring my Dad who lives in the republic of tokyonistan and we talk in our one Asian language about how weird it is to be Asian. Fuck off.

Hannah Tinti, Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of One Story hosted the event. She wore a funny hat. 

Each of the debutantes are authors who appeared in One Story and who have a debut book released during the past year. The authors read in order of publication.
