Novel Madness – Here’s The Deal

Okay, so I’m doing my own version of MARCH MADNESS combined with NANOWRIMO (in March)…we’re calling it Novel Madness! And it begins tomorrow! Woo!

I’m basically going to be tracking the progress of my new novel (as I did in 2011 for NaNoWriMo), and with the hopes of finishing a first strong draft of this new book within a month. See, I have a new book (unrelated to TGWWBK) that’s going out on submission to publishers via my agent very soon (that same aforementioned NaNo 2011 project), but I wa...

April 2013 DC Drunk Cover Solicits In Three Sentences Or Less…

Here are the “rules“.

If you’d like to see the full DC April Cover Solicits head on over to CBR.

So these are the “much anticipated” (and I assure you that is the correct use of damn quotes) “WTF Certified” DC Solicits, so thanks to a brilliant discussion/suggestions by the lovely DCWOMENKICKINGASS and Bryan Q. Miller, I’m going to do an extra line with my guess as to what the WTF Certified image will be…as I’m sure you all know, it will almost never be a serious guess. Also, I’m too drunk to d...

April 2013 Marvel Drunk Cover Solicits In Three Sentences Or Less…

Here are the “rules“.

If you’d like to see the full Marvel April Cover Solicits head on over to CBR.

Honestly, yet again these are more good than bad, and thus, not particularly funny…but I’ll try my best.

AGE OF ULTRON 5. Nice Alan Davis – and when I say Davis I of course mean BRYAN HITCH – team cover. I love that there are four ladies on this cover and none of them are wearing anything ridiculous.

Also, MONICA RAMBEAU!!!!!!

AGE OF ULTRON 6 VARIANT. Yeah, that’s original, Wolvie tearing through s...

FAN ART ENTRIES & WINNER!

Thanks to all of you who participated – this was so fun for me! I hoped we’d get more, but I always want more, I’m greedy that way.

In the meantime, less is good for those of you that entered! ;) We did not get to 15 entries, so there will be only one winner today. Below are all the entries I received (in random order)…and the winner (drawn at random as per the rules) is at the bottom!

Our first entry is from Jessie Dawn and you can find her at both these links!

Second entry is from Natacha Bustos...

Yet again, Marvel is making this feature pretty fucking hard. Way more covers to love than loathe. I tried my best but they’re honestly just turning out some awesome stuff these days. Enjoy!

AVENGERS ACADEMY 6. Still enjoying these covers. Very fun, great sense of humor and full of personality.

ALPHA 2. Um. Let’s for a moment ignore the MC (Alpha?)’s facial expression…which is PURE INSANITY…and di...

As usual, DC gives me a lot more fodder for fun. Get your laughs now, because Marvel is still making it hard. They’re trying to put me out of business those bastards! (not really…I’m kinda excited about Marvel of late).

ACTION COMICS 18. Man, I really hate floaty head covers. I do appreciate that both Lois (Lois?) and “Please God, I Hope That’s Not Supposed To Be Wonder Woman” are scope locked on Sup...
