Decision Pile
Micro decisions are the ones you make all day long. They often go unnoticed, which means they are unaccounted for. They pile up.
Until one day, they are noticeable. A pile of small decisions, stacked up over time, now reveals itself in the most obvious way.
Apply reflection and focus to your days, so your micro decisions add up in the most positive and creative way.

Leading Unlikely
If it’s unlikely, it’s probably uncomfortable.
If it’s uncomfortable, it’s not for everyone.
If it’s not for everyone, where are you?

Positive Thinking Carries You
Imagine, you have the power to carry yourself through most any challenge. So…why do we get in our own way more than anyone or anything else?
Only you know the answer, and the way to step past it.
My memoir travelogue The Competitor in Me shares how I got out of my own way, and continue to do so, growing to my full potential.

Wake Up, Be Open
As you read about my discoveries and disappointments in The Competitor in Me, you may have a few awakenings within your own competitor. Let all of them arise, because breaking out of mediocrity knows no boundaries… from mandolin lessons to snowboarding, there may be a repressed competitor or kid or artist in you dying to get out and play.

Remember when you were a newbie? My first triathlon wasn’t the most welcoming experience.

Leading and collaborating online?
Make time to reflect and adjust your presence and approaches.
Consider…
The energy you bring to a video or audio meeting. How do you hold space there?
The way you read the room is different online. How will you know if the group is with you?
Hosting meetings with definitive beginnings and endings to your time, sharing the intent of the meeting.
The need to still have fun and talk as if you were in person. If you didn’t do much of this before, now is a good time to begin. Have a pre meeting or post meeting chat.
Having office hours using a chat or other collaboration app.
Now is a perfect time to practice improving how you lead and work.
