Happy Sunday, me hearties!
I'm just back from taking a trip to see my son and getting the chance to pin on his new rank in a battalion award ceremony. My youngest son is a Sergeant now. Woot!!! What a great accomplishment for him and a boon to my spirit to be able to share that moment with him! (Now I have two Sergeants in the family: an Air Force TSgt and an Army Sgt. Not to mention my nephew is a Sgt. in the National Guard.)
We all have moments in our lives when we enjoy having family and friends there to share them. What a special memory an event like this becomes too. I will cherish it always and I hope my presence created a special memory for my son. I'm so extremely proud of him for serving our country!
But that's not the only thing exciting me today. My Goodreads giveaway is almost at an end. Which means 3 lucky winners will receive an autographed copy of my paperback Duke by Day, Rogue by Night. And... I'm going to throw in some swag too for the winners, me hearties!!!
