Audio Bonanza!

Good morning, me hearties! ;)

There is always time to read, isn't there? A few months ago, I started trying audio books to help pass time on my commute to and from work. What I've discovered is a treasure trove of inspiration. I've listened to writers I might not have found otherwise. Books like: Death Comes to Pemberley, Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict, Anne Stuart's Ice Series, Kristan Higgins' Catch of the Day and Jeaniene Frost's Halfway to the Grave.

I've discovered the great narrators, Xe Sands, Laural Merlington and Michael Page. Fed the well, while being a captive audience. No time wasted for this crew member... no way!

Xe Sands masters dialect in any language. Laural Merlington captures the wit of both hero and heroine alike. And Michael Page's brogue literally illicits goosebumps.

So what am I listening to now? Johanna Lindsey's Pursuit with Michael Page's brogue. Johanna Lindsey's The Perfect Someone was fabulous!!!

Up next is Anne Stuart's Historical Series: Ruthless, Breathless, Recklass and Shameless. Woot!

Aye, me hearties! There is no excuse not to be reading in this day and age with audio CDs, MP3 players, eBook readers and regular print books at our disposal. So I encourage you to check out Tantor.com and Audiobookmart.com for deals this Christmas.

Blessings,
Katherine
