Passionate Addiction Release Date
I've kept the date close to my belt and with the hard work of my editor, proofreaders and formatter, I've been able to release Blake's book earlier than expected.
YAY!
Save the date - November 15th.
In less than a month, Blake will be getting his smexy on with Gabrielle Smith.
The cover reveal is happening next Friday with a pretty cool giveaway included. I also hope you will keep an eye on my Facebook page in the lead up to the release as I will be posting quotes, doing giveaways and if I keep my courage intact I will also be doing a live video chat.
I'm really excited about the release of Passionate Addiction and I hope you are too.

Sometimes I need a woman's touch...
I'm not ashamed to admit it. My husband knows and supports me wholeheartedly. But every so often, I need the touch of the woman.
It's weird... having someone other than the man I'm married to, touch my lady bits. And I think he probably gets a little turned on by the thought, however, I've never explained what happens behind closed doors. I probably never will. Those moments are private. Between me and the woman of my choosing.
He knows I pay her. He knows we meet in private. I'll lay down, spread my thighs, and then she'll touch me. But it's not dirty, or the least bit taboo, although, I suppose some people wouldn't like to read about it. Some people would feel embarrassed. Maybe even awkward.
I'll never be ashamed to admit it though. It's my body. I need certain things and this has been something I've needed for years now. Yes, there has been more than one female. Over time they change, either leaving town or no longer wanting to provide the services I'm looking for.
But ladies, (and gents, if any of you have happened to stroll past my blog), Pap Smears are important. Our bodies really do need them. And you may not want to be touched by a woman. You might choose a man. The choice is up to you. Just make sure you give your body what it needs.
PAP awareness people...get your mind out of the gutter.

Shades of Pink Fundraiser (and other news)
It's with a little bit of pride and a huge amount of hope that I introduce my next upcoming release. The Shades of Pink anthology is made up of 32 romance short stories (all with different heat levels), from different authors. My teeny, tiny contribution - Dirty Strategy - is a smokin' hot read which introduces two sexy AFL (Australian Football League) players and one damn lucky lady.
And the bonus is that we're giving all the money raised direct to the National (U.S.) Breast Cancer Foundation. Every single penny.
Even though I'm an Aussie, I couldn't give up the opportunity to help this great cause. Unfortunately, too many of us have been affected by cancer and we need to find a cure.
I think I was 15 when I had my first cancer scare. I barely had boobs, yet I still found a lump. It was stupid to keep it to myself for as long as I did, but I was scared. I was a crazy, emotional teenager and the last thing I wanted to do was draw more attention to my "no boobies" problem.
Thankfully I gained some much needed perspective and found out it was only a fibroadenoma. But so many women aren't that lucky.
If you would like to find some new favorite authors and enjoy a long list of awesome short stories, please consider making a donation to receive this book. It is only available for a limited time, so get in quick.
All the information can be found here

I'm extremely excited about this book. It's the longest story I've written and Blake is definitely my most tortured hero. Not to mention I love tattooed men.

Reflection
The 13th of July marks the 1 year anniversary of my first contract.
It was 3am on a ball-freezing winters night, when I woke up with a buzz in my chest. When I was younger I used to get good and bad "feelings" all the time. This was the first one I'd had in a long time and quickly rushed to grab my phone to check my emails.
Celebrating at 3am, when your husband is working night shift isn't that fun, but I've had loads more to celebrate since then.
In a year I've released my short novel - Concealed Desire, a novella - Sneaking a Peek, a short story - Phantom Pleasures (in the Halloween Heat Anthology) and my longest story to date (as well as my first book in a series) - Blind Attraction.
I've also signed a contract with Escape Publishing - A division of Harlequin Australia, booked in for my first RWA conference (flying across the country to attend in August) and finished a tiny short story to be included in a charity anthology to be released later in the year.
The past twelve months have been a roller-coaster ride of massive highs and extremely depressing and soul jarring lows. For someone who struggles with outsider judgements and being talked about, I really picked the wrong career path. It was only a few weeks ago that I pulled a very unladylike face and said to my husband "What the f*ck? Why the hell did a person like me, choose a career like this?"
But you know what? Despite the lows, discovering my love of writing has brought a whole new meaning to my life. I love to write. I get all swoony when a new man taps into my muse and demands attention. I love the community I'm involved in. I love learning and challenging myself to be better. And of course I love being able to stare at pictures of hunky men all day and tell my husband it is necessary for research.
With all I've accomplished in the last twelve months, I can't imagine what the next twelve will bring, but either good or bad, I know I will have a whole heap of great friends and readers sticking by me. I appreciate all the support the online romance reading and writing community has given me. I just wanna say - You brighten my days, weeks and months.

Reckless Beat 2 - Who will it be?
I promised a few readers that I would share some Reckless Beat gossip at the start of July...so here I am...prepared to spill.Book 2 in the Reckless Beat series will be featuring.....*insert drum roll*....
Blake Kennedy.
Blake is known as the tattooed, smart ass, who loves to make others smile. But he has a lot of secrets hidden behind that cheeky, bad boy grin of his.
A lot of people have shared my love of Blake, which I am truly thankful. There is even an ongoing smack down in my street team over him, so I hope you're all happy to hear the news.
The title for his book is Passionate Addiction and although I've already written a big chunk of his story (56k), I still have a long way to go, with a whole heap of editing. Blake's book will be bigger than Blind Attraction and at this stage I'm not sure how much bigger it will be. It could be five thousand words, it could be twenty...and who knows, a whole heap might be cut through the editing process. But I want you all to know that I am already well into writing the story and hope for a late 2013/early 2014 release.
While you are waiting make sure you add Passionate Addiction to your Goodreads to-read list.
And there is also a giveaway going on Goodreads to win a signed print copy of Blind Attraction. Get in quick. It finishes in a few days.
Lastly, if you haven't taken a look at the Reckless Beat website, make sure you do. www.recklessbeat.com

Ravenous Cover Reveal
Here is a sneak peek into my next release - Ravenous, being published by Escape Publishing - a division of Harlequin Australia.
What do you think?
Want a little more information?
Here is the blurb...
She’s a small town caterer, he’s a big city chef, but they don’t need a kitchen to make things sizzle...
Erin McDonald likes her simple life in her small town: no drama, no fuss, no uncertainty...until Jesse Hackett breezes back into town. Erin never quite got over how he left for the bright lights of the big city, and took her heart with him.
Jesse never regretted his decision to leave small town life behind and chase his big city dreams, but he’s always regretted leaving Erin behind. No woman has ever compared, and once he convinces Erin to let him touch her again, he’s never going to let her go.
Sparks fly and fires are rekindled, but the basic divide still remains: what really matters in life — location or love?
Ravenous is already up on Amazon for pre-order. Make sure you check it out. It will be released on the 1st of August.

Interview with Mitchell Davies, Blake Kennedy and Sean Taiden.
I did this character interview for my blog tour but unfortunately the hosting site was unable to publish it. I couldn't resist sharing it myself, though. It was my favorite post of the whole tour. Hope you enjoy.
Today we’re lucky enough to be interviewing Mitchell Davies, lead guitarist from Reckless Beat. Not only is he here to share a little about himself, but he’s kindly brought along some friends. Bass guitarist, Blake Kennedy, and drummer, Sean Taiden.
Mitch: Hi’ya, guys. Bringing the tagalongs was totally not my idea, but unfortunately I couldn’t get rid of ‘em.
Blake: *winks at Eden* Hey, sugar.
Sean: *rolls eyes* Yeah, some of us are starved for just a glimpse of your spotlight.
Ok, let’s get this interview started.
What or who is the greatest love of your life?
Mitch: *smiles* Ms. Alana Shelton.
Blake: She’s a top chick.
Sean: Fortunately for Mitch, she was blind for the start of their relationship. It’s probably the reason why he’s been able to keep her for so long.
*Mitch flips Sean the bird*
What is your most marked characteristic?
Mitch: *shrugs* I’m awesome.
Blake: *snorts* I think that would be his modesty.
Sean: Really? You really just said that?
Mitch: *leans back into the couch* I totally did. I owned it, too.
What is it that you most dislike?
Mitch: Nosey-ass bass guitarists.
Blake: Seriously? I told you, if you leave the door open, it’s an invitation for me to join in. I don’t care what you and Alana are doing. Either close the door, or I’m comin’ in to play.
Which living person do you most despise?
Mitch: Right now, I think it would be a close tie between Blake and Sean.
Sean: *chuckles* Yeah, cause we all didn’t see that comin’.
What is the quality you most like in a woman?
Mitch: Eyes
Blake: Smile
Sean: Ass
*Mitch and Blake turn to Sean.*
Mitch: We were trying to play it cool and you have to go and be a jerk. Of course we all love a bit of T & A but you aren’t meant to say it in a fuc…damn interview.
Sean: *shrugs* I love ass.
Blake: *bursts into laughter* Did you hear what you just said?
Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
Mitch: Any and all expletives.
Blake: You do say ‘fuck’ a lot. Ohh, shit, sorry. Was I not meant to swear in this interview?
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Mitch: My friends
Blake: *Grabs Mitch around the head, bends him over and gives him a noogie.* I know you love me, bro. You don’t gotta hide it.
*Mitch pushes Blake away, and fights to wipe the grin from his face.*
How would you like to die?
*Mitch starts singing* Shot downnnn in a blaze of gloryyy.
Sean: Dude, you really can’t sing.
*Mitch gives Sean the bird*
Sean: You need to come up with a better come back.
*Mitch gives Sean the double bird*
Sean: Oh, yeah, that’s much better.
If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what do you think it would be?
Mitch: A guitar
Blake: A vibrator
Sean: Damn, bro, you took my answer!
