Rough Draft of sequel finished
I’m pleased to announce that the rough draft of the sequel to Ghoul was finished last night. What’s it called? Well, I can’t tell you. Because it’s a secret.
Presently the manuscript is just slightly longer than Ghoul (by about 7,000 words, or 5%). It took me about 19 months from from start to finish. By comparison, Ghoul only took 13 months to finish the rough draft, so apparently I’m slowing down. Quick, someone calculate how long it’ll take before I’m taking five years between books, Game of Thrones style.
On the plus side, two years passed between the rough draft of Ghoul being finished and publication. I’m planning to cut that time down by at least 75%.
Editing will take at least a few months, but when the book is ready you’ll hear about it here. You can also join my Mailing List if you want to receive an email update when the new book is ready:

Sequel to Ghoul forthcoming--
I haven’t updated in a while, so I thought a quick entry might be called for to let you know that, yes, I am working on the sequel to Ghoul! The writing is about 85% done, but editing is still going to take several months. The goal remains to have the book out by December 2013.
