Another Update
Would you like another update?

Well, here’s one anyway.
I have completed an editing readthrough of my proof of Hail Tiberia (it looks like that took me about a month, ugh). The bad news is, I think I’m going to do another pass… and I think I’m going to do a readthrough of Ghoul as well.
So, let’s call it two more months until the new book goes live.

Hail Tiberia is almost ready (for real this time)
Lately this blog has read like a series of excuses and delusions, but I’m pleased to say that the cover for Hail Tiberia is finally finished, and the book’s contents are currently being reviewed; I should have a proof copy within a week. Once I get that, all that’s left is one final read-through before the book can be published; that shouldn’t take more than another week or two.
I’d post the cover here, but… wouldn’t you rather be surprised?
Also of note is that I now have the option to do either a glossy or a matte cover; I’m going to do my best to get one of each for both books to determine which way I prefer.

Quick Update
Just a quick update on the status of Hail Tiberia— the text is finished! Well… okay, almost finished. I will probably proofread it one final time. However, the main thing I’m waiting on now is for the illustrious Kevin M. to finish the cover, which is coming along beautifully. However, his artistic process cannot be rushed! I’ve tried, and he stabbed me several times.
So, when will the book be ready?
…Eventually!
(Probably within a month or two)

This site is now located at www.RalphMcGeary.com! The Tumblr URL still works as well, of course.
This is an important change, since obviously the MODERN YOUTH OF TODAY is unwilling to type extra characters when entering a URL. That extra “.tumblr” was killing me. They were all getting distracted by their skateboards and their swing music and ending up at sites with shorter URLs.
It is a serious problem.

Status update
Christ, has it really been five months since the rough draft of Hail Tiberia was finished? How did that happen?
Hail Tiberia is making the rounds with a final pair of proofreaders and will be just about ready for publication once that’s done, so I’m hoping it won’t be more than a month or two.
Oh, and… the next book is called Hail Tiberia. You probably picked up on that.
