First Draft of One Direction Posted
I posted the first draft of the second installment of my Shady Oaks Murders series. It's a very rough cut, but anyone is free to have a look at it, and I certainly welcome all feedback. I'll do a second draft over the next few days and get that out there as soon as I can.

The One Direction Massacre
Well, I've decided to turn Shady Oaks Senior Estates into a series and have already started writing the second installment. This one is coming out on the page with some sick humor in it. Perhaps it has something to do with the ladies' new victims - One Direction. Plus, they're British, and I'm having so much fun with that aspect of it too. I think I will post it on wattpad.com first and get some feedback from some young adults on the story.

The 95th wore high heels
Well, I'm thinking about starting on another writing project. It's a story about a group of WASPs - women who flew non-combat missions during World War II. I want to highlight the hurdles of these individuals - both as women pilots and women at war. I want to delve into their personal stories, so I'll have to take liberties with history for the sake of the story. I will take them through hell and back. They will undergo incredible loss and triumph, and show that the greatest strength comes from within.

First Draft Posted - Moorehead Manor
Well, I posted the first draft of my latest short story, Moorehead Manor. I found it too hard to wait til it was edited. But once it is, I will post a revision. I wanted to put it out there as a free ebook which I did; however, I couldn't get it on Amazon for free except via KDP Select.

The doors of Moorehead Manor close for the last time
After many delays, I am coming to the end of my short horror story. It will be just long enough to be considered a novella. I believe. Now that I have found a way to kill off my ghost and am nearly finished writing it - I realize now how important it is to have an editor polish it into its final form. I'm eager to get the story out there but will try and restrain myself and have an editor look at it first. When it's ready, I will publish it right away. Thanks to everyone who has helped and supported me on this work.

Plot to kill Justin Bieber on the news
So there I was in the dentist chair today, getting my teeth cleaned when I saw on the news that some guy had plotted to have Justin Bieber murdered. I thought to myself, oh God, did he get the idea from reading my short story! Well, that's a silly thought of course. But it was weird that for one instance in time, I had experienced art mimicing life (or vis versa, take your pick). It was bizarre. But, may I say - that even though my story shares strangulation as a means to murder with the accused - my story does leave Justin's penis totally intact.

Moorehead takes a sudden turn
This is what I always find interesting about writing, when the story starts to have a life of its own. I had thought I knew how the story would end and just a few days ago it literally changed in my head. The ending was a straight forward thing originally, and now it will end with a sickening twist. Now, all I have to do is somehow kill off a ghost - if that's even possible.

Moorehead Manor getting dark
I've never written anything this dark before, and I'm getting to the most graphic scene that involves the brutal murder of a newborn. It's funny when you have to get into the head of a character who is capable of such things and try to be true to what their actions would be like.

Moorehead Manor
I've begun my second short story, with its working title of "Moorehead Manor". It's a ghost story that involves three young teenagers, a haunted house, old social stigmas of the early 1900s and a mysterious death (don't all ghost stories involve a mysterious death - else where would the ghost come from). I hope to develop strong characters put into a potentially dangerous setting that leads them to resolve an aging mystery as well as a young man's disappearance thirty years prior.
