job search

I am as so many Americans are at this point without a job, it is extremely frustrating. You could almost say I'm a struggling author for I am looking for work and at the same time trying to sell my book. I have been told that it is a good book that my writing and destructive skills put you right into the situation that I was in which was being in prison in Mexico. I also have a trade that I have pushed for 35 years. A week ago Friday I put an application in to a large company. It is driving me nuts waiting for a reply. I know I can do the job and do it well but as so many Americans are as I am out of work.
Sincerely J.P.

still doing maintenance on my car

Well if you haven't guessed yet. I'm half starving writer so I have to do things a little different than normal today was working on my fog lights from my car. The lenses were pretty mucked up an old after 206,000 miles. It was time for new ones, but the price of a new lens for the fog lights is more than I can afford at this time so I looked up Plexiglas and where it was sold in town and I went and got me enough pieces to cut out to lenses this quarter inch Plexiglas that I used is so strong that I don't have to worry about a flying rock breaking my lens. How have always been good at improvising back in my time in prison days to call me MacGyver. So now I have two extremely bright fog lights that are street legal. I don't want to be breaking any more laws could the weather started to turn a little bad soundbite I got it done. Everybody out there in the free world. Have a great day

routine maintenance

Well wintertime is coming and I have to make sure my car is in good working order. Recently I've had one of my fog lights go out and I've been shopping on Amazon trying to figure out which would be the best replacement for it and have come to a conclusion go to Napa auto parts for they have a good selection and good quality parts. I have always liked using their products. After standing there and looking at all the different bulbs for my fog lights, I picked a set they ran me for two just a little bit over $16 and they are in my hand today. So I'm going to go out and installed them as we have sunshine today this is a minor project for somebody of my skill level for I have always been a good maintenance man and can work on my cars quite well if the sun is not shining where you are. I hope that it is shining in your heart you all have a good day.
Sincerely J.P.

Fall is here

We have good weather today, but the weather channel says that in the next few days it will take a turn and it will become cooler. So for me, one of my great joys is cooking and today I'm starting a stew. I am not all that traditional as far as mycooking skills go, I tend to put a little bit everything that I like into the pot. Today I started with stew beef 2 tablespoons of beef bouillon , fresh garlic, two sticks of celery, six potatoes, one leak, half a dozen carrots and I am frying up a little bit of bacon this can go into the pot a little later, near the end I will chop up some zucchini, red onions and mushrooms and add these things to the pot as well. I cook it slowly on a medium heat. The slower you cook it the more tender the meat will be. Now when I am just about finished I will mix up the Rue of cornstarch and cold water. Not much just enough to give it a little thicking and as I add that I will bring to a boil. Within minutes it's ready to serve. I can hardly wait.

Freedom

After being released from prison. I went back to my normal trade as a welder. Although for the final couple years of my incarceration I had been thinking about writing a book on my experiences and now that I'm out on the streets and a free man. I had actually started to put a book together in between working 50 hours a week. I can get a little bit of writing in maybe an hour a night but the experience that I had from being incarcerated gave me a great appreciation of my new found freedom. It also gave me a gratitude toward the country I was born in and raised it doesn't matter what anybody says in this world about our country in my mind it still is the best of them all
Sincerely J.P.
