News for Scandals with Bite
If you've been keeping up with me, you'll have noticed that the past several months have been dedicated to my new heavy metal romance series, as well as my newest installment in my urban fantasy BRIDES OF PROPHECY series.Conjuring Destiny
...which, by the way, the first book is free if you're interested in checking it out.
However, all has been quiet in regards to my regency paranormal romance, "Scandals with Bite" series since last Spring when BITE AT FIRST SIGHT released.
Bite at First Sight
"Is this the last book?" many reviewers have commented.
I am pleased to say that the answer is NO!
I'm currently working on a 4th book, so oh yes, you will learn what happens to Lenore and the Lord Vampire of Rochester.
A Goodreads page will be forthcoming as soon as I figure out the title and the book shall release Spring of 2016.
Will book 4 be the final installment?
Maybe, but I wouldn't count on it. New characters have a way of popping up and demanding a story.

BIG news!
I got the rights back to Bite Me, Your Grace! Behold the new cover!
The ebook and paperback will release on February 2nd! You can preorder it from your preferred etailer HERE!
Bite Me, Your Grace was my first published novel, even though I'd written Conjuring Destiny and Wrenching Fate and half of Ironic Sacrifice first.
I'd written Bite Me, Your Grace shortly after my mom died. Fluffy regency romances were my guilty pleasure. And when I found out that there was a Twilight-level Vampire Craze in Regency England, I came up with the idea to write a Regency Vampire romance. It has all the fluffy fun of Bridgerton, but in my reread and revisions, it was fun to see how much of my love of horror shines through in that book and the rest in the series.
Anyway, I wrote a foreword to this edition and I hope readers will enjoy giving this book and the others a breath of new life.
And now for the biggest news that my Kofi and Patreon supporters already got.

I am breathless with excitement!!!
And the narrator is Claire Glover!!!
For a regency romance, I needed a narrator with a British accent and Claire fits beautifully. And her credentials are AWESOME. Theater degree? ONE PIECE??!! I don't know how I got that lucky and am eternally grateful to my Kofi supporters for making this happen!
She sent me the first couple chapters and I'll be sharing it with my Kofi supporters tomorrow!

I haven't gotten to work on Graveyard Girls as much as I would have liked, but it IS coming along.

Life News:
I have been so busy that it's making me a little batty. I'm taking half of Saturday off to hang out with one of my friends in town so I can remember how to be around people, lol.
As for the cats, they all have cabin fever and are anxious to play outside. It's Mischief's first winter and she's taking it especially hard, as you can see from her handiwork here:

I'm currently at what I think is the 85% mark on my coming of age horror novel, The Graveyard Girls. It's the biggest, most ambitious book I've ever written.
Also, I'm working on a short story for another anthology. I don't know if it will get accepted or not.
And, of course, there will be my story in Hospital of Haunts in October!
But, for even sooner, my 2nd Regency vampire romance, One Bite Per Night will be released on February 9th! You can preorder HERE!
Life News:
To celebrate the Scandals With Bite rereleases and all the hard work I've done, I bought myself a little present. A Dio Funko.
And not just any Dio, the Dio from Rainbow! My favorite Dio!
He's even wearing those cute moon and star pants and platform shoes! EEEEEEE! So CUTE!
Dio has been a huge inspiration to me and I even kinda fanfic-ed him in my rockstar romance, Rock God.
In the book Dante Deity, (see what I did there, lol), sings "Catch the Rainbow" to the heroine!

Life News:
My Grandma's health continues to decline. She can't swallow her pain meds anymore so the nurse is working with my aunt (also a nurse) on a solution to keep her comfortable. While I am grateful that I'm getting time to visit her and say goodbye, it really sucks knowing that anytime I will get that call with the news that she's gone. Seriously, FUCK Cancer!
In happier news, Spring is finally on its way so I can finish the rest of the car work that needs to be done. Then we have to replace the garage roof.
And to end on a light note, look how cute Mischief is!

Life News:
We had my Grandma's Celebration of Life ceremony last weekend. I'm still really devastated that she's gone.
On a lighter note, I've been waiting for lilac season to show off how the lilacs match our purple house...only to see that you can't see much of the house past the lilacs and trees, lol.

I'm still plugging away on The Graveyard Girls, Brides of Prophecy 10, and my short story for Hospital of Haunts.

I'd recently learned that the pauses between the scene breaks were somehow removed. That issue is now fixed, and if you've already purchased from a retailer, there should be a way to update the file so the breaks are back in. Life news:
I got my new clockspring in, but sadly, it didn't fix my headlight issue. But Kent and I found the bad wire and fixed it. I still have three other electrical issues to track down.
I also plan on doing a headlight restoration, putting in new weather-stripping, and, of course, ordering new snow tires.
Halloween plans are kicking up! I'm going to make a plaster cast of my face this weekend so I can make prosthetics for my costume.
I didn't make any progress gardening or on my address column project, but hopefully I'll be able to update those next week.
I'm also hard at work on Redeeming the Angel, which comes out in November!
Next week, the One Bite Per Night audiobook will be live on stores, so I'll be celebrating that awesomeness. And hopefully I'll have more fun updates.

My event was a lot of fun, but due to a competing big local event, not as many people showed up as I'd hoped. My table was cute, though!
I'm going to try to do more events when I can.
