I'm still trying to rack up reviews for my summer camp slasher romance, His Final Girl before it goes out of print in a couple months. It's going to be rereleased next summer with a new cover and everything. So for now, I'm giving away free digital copies HERE!
Last bit of news:
I've gotten pretty good at making tea blends! So now I'm packaging up the best two and looking into selling them at book signings and on my online store:
Drowsy Dreams: a bedtime tea that doesn't have mint. Instead it's a blend of white peony, white pear, chamomile, and lavender.
Creativitea is a low caffeine blend of lychee fruit, green tea, lavender, lemongrass, blood orange peel, hibiscus, apple, raspberry, ginger, and rose hips.
I haven't listed them on the store yet, but if you're interested in ordering a bag, reply to this email!

And last weekend, we went to the Gorge for Dead and Company's final tour. Here's some pics from that adventure:
I also got this awesome trippy cat tapestry and Kent bought each of us a signed limited bandana from Jerry Jaspar of Peacemonger. He's the one who designed those COEXIST stickers you see everywhere.
In bad news, I had a tire blow up on the trip and a mysterious shaking in the front end, so all of my book sales are going towards car repairs. Joy.

I have print copies of Bewitching the Vampire on the way. I decided to be a little more organized on processing orders, so I made a handy-dandy form. Order your signed copy!
In exchange for getting to play tour guide for a pair of nice flatlanders from the midwest, we got to get up in the mountains and replenish our stock of huckleberries. YAY! Those of you who've been reading my books for a while know that they come up in almost every book.
We're hoping to get out one more time because in sort of happy news, I WAS right about the mystery shaking and pulling in my car being rubber separating on the inside of the tire opposite from the one that had the blowout. I sold some huckleberrries to pay for the tire.
That means those front tires went within 200 miles of each other. The former mechanic in me still has it! I was afraid my first instinct was wrong and I either had something disastrous in my suspension (she does need bushings) or that my brake caliper piston was going out. I do still need to replace my brakes, but thankfully not immediately, just soon.
Writing News:
Speaking of car stuff, I have some fun news for my horror readers. I'll tell you all about it next week.
And once I finish up with that, it's back to work on The Graveyard Girls!

I can't believe summer is over! Although I am excited for fall and all things Halloween and pumpkin spice (yes, I'm one of THOSE) I've always been a summer baby. Though with the higher temperatures and constant wildfires and smoke, summer hasn't been as magical as it used to be.
Anyway, my vampire-witch urban fantasy romance, Bewitching the Vampire got another Netgalley listing, and this one is through a co-op, which means if you got rejected last time, you won't this time. Here's a link to get auto-approved!

I just finished edits on my story for the House of Haunts anthology coming out next month for Parlor Ghost Press!
Life news:
The fires are finally out, which means I get to do the brakes on my car. Today I'm going to do the rear brakes, which is a little daunting because I haven't worked on drum brakes in over a decade. But I got all new parts and the old ones on my Honda probably won't be as rusted in as those on my poor Datsun.
Operation purple house is being delayed because we need to replace the roof over the music room and the one over the garage. It's an expensive bummer.
In fun news, my son's birthday is on Monday, but we're celebrating a day early so we can take him to our favorite smokehouse and BBQ place for brisket.
I told him that I'd paint him a back patch for his heavy metal battle vest he's started. Because he likes puns and classical music, he asked for a Bach patch. Here it is!
I'm also making headway on the Graveyard Girls. And will have some big news about the B Mine series soon.
