Borrowed Cowboy - RELEASE WEEK!

TGIF naughty readers!!

It's been a great release week here in Kincadia - thank you so much for all the shares, likes, and wonderful comments for Paxton. If you've missed the details - here they are, along with an excerpt. Enjoy!

Paxton Mathis is committed to bachelorhood. One failed marriage was more than enough to remind him of the dangers of getting too close. He has his work on the ranch; he has his family. He has everything he needs.
Event planner Reese Jameson accepted the job at Shadow Maverick Ranch for one reason: to face her biggest regret. Paxton Mathis was her first love, her first everything. And ten years ago, after a night of unbridled passion, it all came crashing down.
The moment they see each other again, it’s clear the years haven’t doused the heat between them. On the contrary, their flames burn hotter than ever. Despite Paxton’s attempts to keep things casual, old feelings emerge alongside a fierce hunger to keep Reese in his life forever. Reese willingly accepts Paxton’s need to keep things casual, but she’s worried her heart won’t get the message.
When Paxton is forced to face his fears, will history repeat itself, or will he take a chance on a whole new future?
***********
Pax made good on his promise to call. He called every night for a week, so when her phone rang late on Friday night, Reese wasn’tsurprised. “Hi, beautiful. You home yet?”She experienced a rush of pleasure at hearing his voice. Reese turned her key in the lock. The man had impeccable timing. “Walking in now.”“How’d it go?”She tossed her purse and keys on the narrow counter that served as a pass-through to her kitchen. “Without a hitch.” She’d been planning the fundraiser for a local children’s hospital for months. “They raised a lot of money, and I found the perfect caterer for Gavin and Lauren’s wedding.”Surprise colored his tone. “Yeah?”“I’ve been hesitant to mention them to Lauren. They were highly recommended, but I’ve never seen them in action until tonight. The food was delicious, and perfect for what Lauren envisioned. I won’t bore you with the details. What did you do today?”“You never bore me, darlin’. You wanna talk boring? I spent a good part of the day in the office with Gavin.”She snickered. “In the office?” As memory served, Pax hated anything to do with paperwork. Or being cooped up inside. He preferred fresh air and wide-open spaces.“Not my favorite thing to do, but sometimes, a necessary evil. There’s a neighboring property we’d like to buy. We had a conference call with our dad this morning. Sort of a status update, I guess you could say. Then I spent the next few hours going over land surveys and next year’s breeding schedule. Tedious stuff.”Right. Tedious. He loved every minute of it, just as she loved her work. “Are your parents enjoying their vacation?”Reese made her way to the bedroom. She kicked off her heels, shouldered the phone, and worked the sheer pantyhose down her legs. Wearing pantyhose on a hot Texas night should be a crime. She sat on the edge of the bed and flexed her toes, groaning as her muscles cooled and relaxed.“Pax?”“They are.” Pax’s voice turned sultry smooth. “What are you doing?”She fell back on the bed. “I’m reveling in being out of those shoes. And don’t get me started on the pantyhose.”“If I were there, you’d be out of more than just your hose and shoes.”Her body reacted to his threat, heat pooling between her thighs. “Promises, promises.” Reese ran a hand over her breast. God, she missed him. Their work schedules had made getting together impossible over the last week. They had their date for Mrs. Sinclair’s seafood boil tomorrow, and it couldn’t come soon enough. Reese was counting down the hours until Pax picked her up. The night of Patrick’s death had haunted her for so long. She felt lighter, happier than she had in years. Reese never dreamed they’d be in this place. She and Pax. Rediscovering the connection between them.Their nightly conversations had been tame. A ritualistic check-in at the end of each day that screamed relationship. They’d begun to get to know each other again, which seemed odd considering in the two times she’d seen him, he’d made her come more times than she could count. Leave it to them to do things backward. Pax continued to avoid the topic of his marriage and Reese didn’t push. She’d figured out most of it on her own, anyway. Reese hadn’t been entirely forthcoming, either. She’d never been married, but she’d been asked. Recently. Pax deserved to know, but how does one go about saying Hey, this guy I refused to marry keeps calling…Yeah, not so easy when the man she loved was looking for a reason not to trust her. Whether he realized he was doing it or not. One day, he’d trust her to protect his heart. The last thing she wanted to do was give him a reason not to.Reese filled her lungs, prepared to broach the subject. He’d be cool. Pax would see the situation for what it was. Reese wasn’t interested in Todd or anything he had to offer. Pax owned her heart. Okay, so she wouldn’t share that last part. Call it a defense mechanism. Whatever. Her heart wasn’t a card she was ready to play.   “Tell me about the dress you’re wearing. I assume you’re in a dress?”Pax’s words startled her back to the conversation. “Well … yes. For the moment I am. A cocktail dress. Simple. Nothing flashy.” She was often expected to attend the fundraisers she planned. She dressed the part, but preferred to stay on the sidelines to make sure everything went as scheduled.  “Gonna need a little more for the visual I’m trying to create here, sweetheart.”And she’d just lost her opening to a conversation that would now have to wait. Not for long, though. Soon.“It’s just a dress. Spaghetti straps. Modest…” She glanced at her cleavage. “…modest-ish. Black and turquoise. That’s sort of a green—”“I know what turquoise looks like. Keep going. Is it a long dress?”“No, short.”He growled. “How short?”Reese hummed into the phone, warming to his game. “Short enough.”“Take it off.”Her stomach clenched at the demand. “What?”“Take. It. Off.”

It’s almost time for the RT Booklovers Convention in New Orleans. I’m excited on so many levels. Being included with a group of authors I’ve admired and loved for years, well, there just aren’t words for how grateful I am to have been asked to play along. What is The Great Author Hunt , you ask? It’s a scavenger hunt: find a minimum of twenty-five (25) authors from the list, and enter to win some great prizes!!Here’s how it works: RT Booklovers Convention attendees will receive a Great Author Hunt Player card, along with a button that reads “I’m playing the Great Author Hunt”, in your registration packet. Put that button on your name badge. Easy right?
All of the participating authors are listed on the playing card. Please note: Delilah Devlin will NOT be at RT, so please cross her off your card. Once you have your button firmly secured to your name badge, start looking for the authors on your card. These authors should also be wearing a big Great Author Hunt button. If you spot one, ask them for a sticker for your card. Once you’ve collected a minimum of 25 author stickers, fill out the information on the back of the card. Once that’s all done, put the card in the Great Author Hunt Entry Box, located in Club RT.The game starts as soon as you receive a Player’s Card (with your registration packet). Guest Author - Sofia Grey

TGIF naughty readers!! Today, I'd like to welcome Sofia Grey to Kincadia to let you all know about her new release, Crash Into Love.
Fell On Black Days – SoundgardenWe all have black days, some darker than others, and although Crash Into Love is a romance, it has a dark undercurrent of angst. Cass has very real doubts about Jonah’s attraction to her, let alone having a fling with him. And he, in turn, has his own demons to contend with.
I adore Soundgarden, Audioslave, and pretty much anything Chris Cornell sings on, and this particular track fits well.
I'm only fakingWhen I get it rightCause I fell onBlack daysHow would I knowThat this could be my fate

http://youtu.be/ySzrJ4GRF7s

In this extract, they’ve made a vague arrangement to meet and Cass is wondering if he’s had second thoughts.
~Unable to settle, I fiddled some more with my manuscript, made coffee, changed the bedding, and tidied every corner of the tiny cottage. It was still only four p.m. The wind had started rattling at the patio umbrella and I made sure it was secure, and then I sat and stared at the rain as it rolled in. The clouds hung low in the sky, heavy and foreboding, and ready to dump their water over the land. I wondered if there would be lightning again. Another round of tidying up and I resorted to baking cookies to pass the time. Dylan adored my chocolate-chip cookies and I’d made them so many times that I didn’t need a recipe. An hour later, the kitchen was filled with the warm, homey smell of baking and a mountain of cookies sat cooling.  I made a casserole. Something to sit quietly in the oven and be eaten whenever Jonah arrived. If he arrived. It was seven p.m. and there was no sign of him. The wind now tugged at the windows and the rain battered across the roof, and I didn’t like to think about Jonah driving up here in this filthy squall. He’d most likely be here tomorrow, when the storm had blown itself out. By ten, I’d removed the casserole to the refrigerator and then curled up on the sofa while I pretended to watch some television.Disappointment clawed at me. He wasn’t coming tonight.
~
Blurb:
Cass thought spending a month at a beachside hideaway relaxing and collecting shells would be the perfect escape to finish her novel. When she meets the dark and brooding and much younger Jonah, who's staying next door, her book becomes the last thing on her mind.  Jonah would rather stay home alone than go on vacation with his brother and their friends, but does his best to tolerate the situation after being convinced to go. But when he sees the beauty next door, he can’t avoid his attraction.

Together, they break all the rules, but will Cass be able to bring Jonah out of his shell forever, or will he leave her with only the crash of the surf to keep her company?

Author bio:
Romance author Sofia Grey spends her days managing projects in the corporate world and her nights hanging out with wolf shifters and alpha males. She devours pretty much anything in the fiction line, but she prefers her romances to be hot, and her heroes to have hidden depths. When writing, she enjoys peeling back the layers to expose her characters’ flaws and always makes them work hard for their happy endings.

Excerpt from Holding Her Close:

A quiet knock filled the dark living room, sending a tremor through Rae, and she paused. She swallowed and padded toward the door. Her heart flipped when she peered through the peephole. Zach stood on the other side, tugging on his ponytail.
She flipped the deadbolt off and opened the door enough to let him in. He took the silent offer and stepped inside, kicking the door shut behind him. His hands rested on either side of her face, and he kissed her. There was hunger in his lips. It stole her breath as he held her close, and she gasped when they broke apart. He studied her, blue eyes frantic.
She didn't know what else to do. She returned the kiss, pushing closer. The sensations set her nerve endings on fire, and she stumbled back, pulling him with her. She hit the arm of the couch, lost her balance, and landed on the cushions.
He laughed as he knelt on the couch, straddling her, and brushed a loose strand of hair out of her eyes. “I couldn't sleep. I was out driving, and I got your message, and I... I don’t even know. I had to see you.”
“What are we doing?”
He shook his head. “Not talking. For God's sake, we've done enough of that.” He leaned forward, lips brushing her collarbone and tracing a line up her neck. “We can hash it all out later, I promise, but I want you so bad right now—and even if you made me talk, I'd tell you whatever you wanted to hear to have you.”
She arched her back and moaned as his lips roamed her skin. “Yeah. Later is good for me too.”

Author Spotlight - Maggie Wells and FREE read!

Hi, naughty readers! I am thrilled to have a good friend of mine, Maggie Wells, as my spotlight author today. Maggie's book, The Art Lover, is FREE on Amazon from March 3-7!

THE ART LOVERA story made vivid by passion

Starving artist Kelsey Tecato takes being The Templeton Museum's artist in residence a little too literally. By day, she puts on a show of painting for the crowds that shuffle through the galleries, but at night, her muse runs wild.
Mitch Jameson is a guy's guy. A cop moonlighting as a security guard, he has little use for the artsy-fartsy stuff, but the mysterious Ms. Tecato's sexy portraits call to him.

So does an interior alarm.

When Officer Jameson goes to investigate, he finds a paint-splattered goddess working on a self-portrait--in the nude.

A couple tubes of paint and a roll in the drop cloths later, free-spirited Kelsey helps Officer Jameson discover his passion for art.

Author Info
Multi-published author, Maggie Wells, is a deep-down dirty girl with a weakness for hot heroes and happy endings. By day she is buried in spreadsheets, but at night she pens tales of people tangling up the sheets. The product of a charming rogue and a shameless flirt, this mild-mannered married lady has a naughty streak a mile wide.
Fueled by supertankers of Diet Coke, Maggie juggles fictional romance and the real deal by keeping her slow-talking Southern gentleman constantly amused and their two children mildly embarrassed. They are the food purveyors to three dogs, a passel of fish, and one impertinent house rabbit she claims is the love of her life. Shh. Don’t tell her husband.

Excerpt:
His gaze traveled over the discreet placard affixed to the wall, but he’d already memorized the pertinent facts. The paintings were created by someone named Kelsey Tecato, the museum’s ‘Artist in Residence’.
Coming on shift as the museum closed for the day, he’d searched the faces of museum patrons and employees as they straggled past the security station, but he’d yet to spot the one that matched the headshot of a studious-looking brunette featured in the museum brochure. When he oh-so-casually posed the question to Bert, he learned that meant Ms. Tecato’s art was being subsidized in exchange for her participation in demonstrations and exhibitions sponsored by the museum board. The knowing twinkle in the older man’s eyes when he clarified that the ‘in residence’ part didn’t refer to the artist’s living situation was enough to make him drop the subject. Bert was too damn nosy for a guy who never managed to pass the detective’s exam.
Forcing himself to put one foot in front of the other, he left the provocative portraits behind and turned toward the west end of the building. The Templeton rambled for nearly a city block but most of the space went unused. Exhibits occupied the open center space of the two-story building joined by a pair of sweeping marble staircases. The east side had been converted to classroom space decades before, but the warren of tiny rooms on the west end were primarily administrative offices and storage.
His heart started to pound when he picked up the murmur of a deep voice. Shifting the flashlight to his left hand, Mitch reached for his sidearm and came up empty. He was a guard tonight, not a cop. His service weapon was locked up safe in his apartment. At the end of the corridor he pulled up short, pressing his back against the wall and tightening his grip on the flashlight. He wore a panic button clipped to his belt but his instincts told him he wasn’t at the panic stage yet. Breathing soft and slow, he closed his eyes and focused his energy on catching a few words. Perhaps he could figure out what the intruders were after before making his presence known.
Thirty seconds passed. His eyes popped open then rolled heavenward as the droning voice segued into a bouncy pop song. The radio. Someone had left a radio playing in one of the offices. Shaking off the rush of adrenaline, Mitch pushed away from the wall and rounded the corner, only to come to a dead stop when he saw the fan of light spilling from the office at the very end of the hall.
Two things he knew for certain: the radio hadn’t been playing when he’d made his post-closing rounds, and that door on the end of the corridor hadn’t been open. He let the barrel of the flashlight slip through his fingers until he gripped the lamp. Wielding his only weapon like a club, he crept toward the door as silently as a guy who clocked in at six-four and two-ten could. Just outside the office, he caught a flash of movement inside the room and quickly pressed his back to the wall.
“About time you showed up.”
A woman. The intruder was a woman and she’d been expecting him. Irked by the presumptuous amusement in her tone, he stepped into the open doorway, prepared to let her have it, and almost swallowed his tongue.
Screw the flashing red lights. Alarm bells clamored in his head the moment recognition clicked. Kelsey Tecato. Artist in Residence. Painter of hard-on-inducing nudes. Live and in person, standing in the Templeton Museum after hours.
And naked as the day she was born.

White Collar Cowboy - Release Day and Exclusive Excerpt

IT'S RELEASE DAY!!!

I'm so excited to bring you the first in my new novella trilogy - Shadow Maverick Ranch.
I love sexy cowboys. I love reading about sexy cowboys. So naturally, it was just a matter of time before I'd create a few of my own. I hope you enjoy the Mathis men as much as I do.
To start off the trilogy...I give you Gavin Mathis.

Gavin Mathis is ready to settle down. He’s quit his job and come home to Shadow Maverick Ranch to do just that. Too bad his decision caused his beautiful former colleague to lose her job.
Lauren Delgado is a no-nonsense businesswoman. She’s had a crush on Gavin for years, but has a strict “hand-off” policy with the men she works with. When her life takes an unexpected turn, there’s nothing to stop her from accepting his invitation to Galveston Island, where the policy is definitely hands-on.

Praise for White Collar Cowboy:
"Parker Kincade knows how to write romance HOT! You will be left breathless and begging for more." – Mandy Harbin, National Bestselling Author
"Parker Kincade has done it again with her first novella in the Shadow Maverick Ranch series. White Collar Cowboy is a down-to-earth, sexy romance about real people with real world problems who find their happy-ever-after together.  Can't wait for the rest of the Mathis siblings' stories."  – Monette Michaels, author of the Security Specialists International series.
NOW AVAILABLE:AmazonBarnes & NobleKoboARe

Excerpt:
Gavin reached the shore and dragged his tired limbs from the water. He snatched up his clothes and walked, naked and unconcerned, up to the house. His legs protested as he climbed the stairs to the porch. Maybe he had overdone it a little, but he resisted falling into one of the deck chairs, instead dropping his stuff outside the door as he slid it open. A quick shower to rinse the Gulf from his skin, maybe a beer or two, and he was done.  As he breeched the threshold, a movement to the left caught his attention and he turned, completely gobsmacked by what he found. His weakened limbs found the renewed strength to hold him in place, standing completely still so as not to shatter the vision before him.She was here. She was actually here. Gavin watched in utter fascination as Lauren slipped the shirt from her shoulders. Inch by gorgeous inch, she unknowingly revealed her back to him. The creamy skin made his mouth water. His body tensed and he yearned to reach out, to touch, to tease, to pleasure.  Obviously, she thought she was alone. He should make his presence known. Shouldn’t stand here and watch as she unhooked her bra. And definitely shouldn’t watch as she … sweet mercy, was she caressing her—fuck.A flash of lust burned through him. Gavin licked his lips, his tongue suddenly desperate for something to do. His gaze focused on the movement of her arms as she cupped her breasts. He’d give anything to know what, who she was thinking about right now. He wanted it to be him, hoped it was him. It was wrong, so wrong, yet he remained still, transfixed, waiting to see what she did next.  A tiny sound emerged from her throat, and his cock hardened in response. Her arms dropped. So did his gaze. The shimmering blue panties she wore didn’t quite cover her butt cheeks and he groaned as she bent to pick up what appeared to be a bikini top. Not panties then. Jesus, she was changing into a bathing suit. Not performing some kind of erotic strip tease. Lauren spun, slapping her palms to her breasts. Not fast enough to keep him from seeing her tawny nipples, both drawn up to tight little buds. Her gaze drifted over him, lingering over his chest before heading lower. Her eyes widened as she took in the rest of him. “W-what are you doing here?”He made no attempt to cover himself. “It’s my house.” Simple, to the point. Truth. And all he was capable of at the moment. Her fingers tightened, her breasts threatening to spill from the confines of her small, delicate hands. Hands he’d like to replace with his own. “That’s not what I meant. You said you were leaving tonight.”He nodded slowly. “Yes, and I did. You never asked me where I was going.”“So, you asked me to come, but thought I wouldn’t if I knew you’d be here?” He could practically hear the gears turning in her head. And he appreciated the fact she was pleased with what she saw, but she was making coherent thought damn near impossible. “Staring at it like that is only going to make it worse, sweetheart,” he said gently. Her eyes snapped up, a light blush staining her cheeks. “Like what?”“Like it’s candy.” She was killing him. He couldn’t remember ever being so hard. The stubborn set of her chin, the darkening of her eyes, everything about her intrigued him, called to him. “I need a shower.” The saltwater from his swim was already starting to make his skin itch, and he needed to get the hell away before he tossed her to the couch and fucked her blind. He looked her up and down again, taking full advantage of his first opportunity to see her body, the curves that had tempted him for so long. She was even more beautiful than he’d imagined. Lean, muscular legs, rounded hips and an ass he’d like to sink his hands into. Breasts too big for her smaller hands, but perfect for his. “Unless you’d like to join me, I’d suggest you put on something more substantial.” He glanced pointedly the apex of her legs. “Because knowing I’m one scrap of material from having you naked is driving me crazy.” As if she hadn’t seen the rock-hard evidence of his arousal already. Slowly, her lips curled upward. “Well, I seem to remember you telling me I could help myself to anything I wanted.” She dropped her hands, baring her nipples for his view. “So, yes, Gavin. I think a shower sounds perfect.”

Hi naughty readers! In case you haven't seen it yet - here's the cover for my March 4th release, White Collar Cowboy! Eeep! I'm in love!

White Collar Cowboy is the first in the Shadow Maverick Ranch Novella Trilogy. Borrowed Cowboy and Cowboy Redeemed are soon to follow!

Valentine's Day Gift Hop

Welcome to the Valentine's Day Gift Hop where we are celebrating love, sex, and all things books!

In this unseasonably cold, polar vortex that has sucked us all under, I've been contemplating ways to stay extra warm this Valentine's day. Curling up in front of the fireplace is always a romantic way to spend some time with your significant other. A nice warm bath, provided you have a tub big enough for two, is also fun.

What are you all doing to stay warm and cozy this Valentine's day?

Now for the good stuff! PRIZES!!

http://www.skyewarren.com/hop/
The grand prize will be a Kindle Paperwhite and digital new adult romance basket. Every comment on every blog in the hop will count as an entry toward either of the grand prizes, so be sure to leave a comment, as well as an email address so we can notify you if you've won!

As for me, I'm giving away an ebook copy of my latest release, Shadow of Sin.

A man determined to protect her…Caleb Martin is no stranger to hazardous situations. He's seen enough bloodshed to last two lifetimes. When an innocent evening takes a dangerous turn, Caleb takes matters into his own hands. If she wants his help, it’s his rules, his way. Period.
A woman who won’t be controlled…When it comes to relationships, Samantha keeps things casual, unassuming. Safe. Caleb Martin is far from safe. His ‘my way or the highway’ attitude pushes all the wrong buttons, and she’d sworn no man would have that kind of power over her again.
A hunger that won’t be denied…Protecting Samantha from the man that stalks her shouldn't test his patience—or his control—but her smart mouth and hot Irish temper stoke the fuel of his desire. She is pure sin—a distraction he doesn’t need, a temptation he can’t resist.
Despite their animosity, Caleb has starred in her fantasies for years. His ruthless sensuality proves to be more potent than she ever imagined. As Caleb masters her body, Samantha must keep a tight grip her heart.

What are you doing to stay warm this Valentine's day? Any Valentine's traditions?

Rosanna Leo is in the House!!

Hi, naughty readers! I'm so happy to have my blog sister and friend, Rosanna Leo, here today. If you haven't had time to check out her Gemini Shifter series, you should do that pronto!
Welcome, Rosanna Leo!
I’d like to offer my pal Parker a huge thank you for hosting me today. It’s always a pleasure to be here.
I’m here as part of my blog tour for Predator’s Refuge, Gemini Island Shifters 3. In some respects, I can honestly say this is one of my hottest works to date. I’ve never been a writer who explores her characters’ kinky sides, preferring to leave some things to the imagination, but I allowed myself to go further in this book.
You see, my hero Anton Gaspar is a tiger shifter. As I mention in the book, tigers are predators but also very much prey to their sensual appetites. When Anton is attracted to heroine Marci, first by her incredible scent, and then by her appearance, he is already bombarded. Sensual overload, if you will. And it becomes very hard for him to ignore.
When they do succumb, it’s a case of sexual fireworks going off. And because the nature of their physical relationship is so fiery and intense, the sex had to reflect this. Now, I am not a writer of the BDSM genre, but even Anton indulges in some spanking play, and he makes no apologies for it. Their sexual play takes them to places neither of them have explored before and the emotions accompanying their actions are deep and unforgettable.
I hope you’ll get a chance to visit Gemini Island and spend some quality time with my shifter friends.
* * *
Lynx shifter Marci Lennox has worked at the shifter-friendly Ursa Fishing Lodge and Resort all her adult life. It’s more a home to her than a job. When her boss goes on vacation, putting her in charge, Marci is thrilled. Finally a chance to prove she has the mettle to run a resort.

Her confidence is shaken when new employee Anton Gaspar appears. One look at the mysterious tiger shifter spells trouble for Marci and for her sex-crazed lynx. Anton is judgmental, condescending, and a little misogynistic. Unfortunately, Marci’s lynx thinks his tiger is more delicious than an oversized bag of Maltesers.

It becomes difficult for Marci to remain neutral near Anton, especially when she learns of his troubling past and unusual family circumstances. However, when dangerous incidents occur on the resort, the lynx woman and tiger man join forces to combat the threat to the lodge and its guests.

Harder still is the quest to combat their explosive feelings for one another. As they explore their mutual passion, they realize the danger at the resort is more insidious than they ever envisioned. Their dreams, their love, and their very lives are at stake.

Excerpt:
Immediately, the fragrance hit him, activating his Jacobson’s organ. He swallowed, tasting it on his tongue and at the back of his throat, and wondered if he was mistaken.
No, how could he mistake the unique scent of a female cat in heat? It was too delicious a scent to forget. Sweetness coated his taste buds, winding a delirious path down his throat. As his head swam, he blinked and tried to clear his thoughts of the sexual imagery racing through it.
The scent did not belong to another tiger shifter, but some other type of predatory cat. One whose perfume he hadn’t sampled before. One who must be particular to this region. Cougar? No. Mountain lion? Surely not.
Whatever she was, her scent teased him with its delicious flavor.
Don’t, he warned himself. Wasn’t it enough that he spent the last few years of his existence trying to escape the sick wiles of the grasping women at court? And God only knew how hard he’d worked to maintain a state of abstinence at Pannonhalma, devoting his life to meditation. He’d come here to work, not lose himself in a sweet piece of…
Stop it. This was no time to think of pussy, even though he’d never been more desperate for a taste of creaming woman.
His tiger howled inside him, hungry for that which it had been denied for almost two years.
Still the perfume, more intoxicating than any he’d known, wafted toward him. He wanted to close his eyes and drink it in. The unyielding power of the aroma could make him forget his vows. Granted, he wasn’t really a monk, but he had followed the monastic lifestyle from day one at Pannonhalma. The purity in the monk’s life had been the very thing he’d required to get his life back on track.
So why did he want to find the source of the scent and fuck her until she begged alternately for mercy and for more? Her need seemed strong. Whoever this lady cat was, she must be in dire agony for her scent to be so powerful.
None of his business.
Mentally caging the growling tiger inside him, he shook his head and approached the front desk. He dropped his luggage and cleared his throat at the woman working there. Her head had been down as she read some reports, but she looked up now.
“Welcome to the Ursa…” Her jaw fell open and her sentence hung in the air, unfinished and clearly forgotten.
Well, well. A beautiful little lynx.
