My 2014 Update & Publishing Schedule
I think it’s time for another update & I wanted to tell you guys what I have going on in 2014. I’m so excited about this year and several of the books I have in store for you.. plus a teensy bit scared that you'll need counseling after reading one of them! Lol.
This year I’m completing the Love by Design series, which began with Working It, and will continue with book 2, CRAVING HIM, a continuation of Ben and Emmy’s story. So many of you have written to me asking about this intensely magnetic couple and I’m so happy to say that their story will pick up right where it left off, with Emmy returning to NYC and Ben’s arms all while the uncertainty stirred up by his relationship with Fiona unfolds around them. CRAVING HIM is out March 24th. Then book 3, ALL OR NOTHING features their BFFs, Ellie and Braydon who are like oil and water with a dash of sexual tension thrown into the mix. It will be released July 22nd. I had TONS of fun writing their witty banter and sarcastic way of flirting… they are crazy! And explosive in the bedroom. You’re Welcome. Both of these books are currently available for pre-order at major retailers.

For the super duper exciting news…and a bit scary!
I set a goal to challenge myself to grow as a writer this year. I wanted to tackle something completely new for me. If you’ve read my other books, you know I tend to write fun, light and steamy stories with an emphasis on the S-T-E-A-M-Y. My editor at Atria Books inspired me and I don’t even think she knew it. We were having a conversation about emotional reads – she (like me) loves Falling Into You by Jasinda Wilder and she said something that struck with me. She said that emotionally rich books have staying power – they seep into reader’s hearts and minds and stick around for a while. I longed to write a story like that. I thought about it, brainstormed, plotted and then realized – CRAP! How am I going to pull this off?!? The funny / sexy comes more naturally to me, but still I wanted to try. I’m a firm believer that if it’s not a little painful, then you’re not growing. And I wanted more, dammit! My readers deserved more.
Sooo…
I began writing a new series. Knox is a sex addict fighting for recovery when he falls for his addiction counselor, McKenna. Their first book , titled WHEN I BREAK will be released Feb. 24th. And then WHEN I SURRENDER, book 2 on May 26th. I’m not yet certain how many books will follow. But I’m so very excited and proud of this story and of myself for taking a risk and trying something new. I really, really freaking hope you like it! It’s a more emotional story than I’ve written before. More angst, more build up and just MORE! Yay! I cannot wait for this first book to release in February. I really hope you check out WHEN I BREAK. And be sure to tell me what you think!
Plus I found a fabulous new editor, recommended to me by none other than super hottie and amazing writer, Jenn Sterling. Needless to say – I’m pumped! Editing self-published works is a big job and I’m so happy to have a great team in place this year. I makes me breathe a little happy sigh. *ahhh*
