New story in Mythaxis Magazine Issue 40

Have you ever stopped to think how easy it would be to do something really bad? How the line that seperates normal actions from sadistic horror is so thin? Crunch Thump Thump is about someone who crosses over and what might happen after.
Check it out in Mythaxis Magazine Issue 40. The publication looks great, and they have included an audio version so you can listen while you drive. Just don’t get any ideas!

CATS Method in Critical Role’s Daggerheart!

It has come to my attention that the playtest for Critical Role’s new RPG Daggerheart suggests players to use my CATS Method to set up their game.
For those not into Tabletop RPGs that sentence will make little sense. For those into TTRPGs, it still probably makes little sense.
Long story short, Daggerheart is a new fantasy RPG game being developed by the team behind the popular live D&D team Critical Role.
The CATS Method is a small idea I had that helps streamline the process of setting expectations at the table before you play a new RPG.
Somehow, the Daggerheart team got wind of my little idea and included a page about in in their playtest. That goes to show they care about laying the groundwork for what players are expecting when they sit down to play their game. Good on them!

Check out Daggerheart, and check out The CATS Method and let me know if it helps any of your sessions!

I have to say, it’s one of my weirdest ones for sure. No comment on what state I was in when it was written.
