I have finally chosen new covers for each of my Art of D/s trilogy! Now before anyone goes off the deep end, please know that the original covers will remain on the paperbacks and ominbus edition ;)

I'm sure this post will get me into hot water but sometimes a person has to defend themselves.

I was just accused of plagiarizing FSOG by another author. Really? Plagiarism? That's a little harsh isn't it?

Plagiarism by definition is: to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own : use (another's production) without crediting the source

:to commit literary theft : present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source.

So tell me readers who have actually read my entire trilogy: Is The Art of D/s a plagiarized work of FSOG?

Was my work inspired by FSOG? Most definitely. But it was also inspired by books by Cherise Sinclaire and Red Phoenix and several other erotica authors whom I respect deeply, however, I would never outright steal work from another author's hard work.

Out of respect and common decency, I will not name the author or even point to the direction where this accusation is posted, but let me say, I'm beyond irritated. And because I don't want to come off as a total douche bag, I'm not even going to respond to the actual post for fear of what repercussions might ensue.
