Old Enough: Part Four #newadult #romance

I'm late with this again, lovelies. I'm sorry. Between horrid storms, cover art things, and a house full of visitors, I completely forgot Friday was "the" day. Eek! Please to be forgiving me. I'll share my cookies. They're from Subway, and they're freaking delicious.

Seriously though, this is the final part of the story. *sniff sniff*

OLD ENOUGH: PART FOUR

By the time I gathered my things and left the diner, Kieran had vanished into the night. My heart broke a little further, but I refused to...

The Weekend that Almost Wasn't: My Nightmare at O'Hare

Last week, this girl:

Megot on a plane to go see this girl:

Lis, my FLL.
We drank lots of wine

and ate lots of delicious food
like this awesome cheesecake.
We watched movies

like thisand otherwise had a wonderful time.

But first... I had to get there, and so began the worst experience I've ever had traveling.

I never fly American Airlines, but I'm all about saving money, so I decided to fly with them since they were cheaper this time around. Bad, bad, horribly bad idea.

My flight out of Arkansas was...

Old Enough: Part Three (and an Auction for #Oklahoma)

Hi, lovelies!

So sorry for posting this today instead of on Friday. I took a much needed vacation, and well, that's a story for another day, but I forgot to schedule this post before I left. It's posted below for you... but first something very important to me.

One of my best friends, my wifey Pika, lives in Moore, Oklahoma. While her family was spared in the recent devastating tornado, her friends and their families, and so much of the town she calls home, were not as fortunate. I've...

Old Enough: Part Two #newadult #romance

Welcome back, lovelies! Today, I have Part Two of Old Enough for you. I hope you enjoy it.

One quick thing before we get on with the story... I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who volunteered to send my sweet nephew, Aloshua, a Christmas card for his birthday. His Christmas Birthday Party is tomorrow, and he's received cards from all over the United States and the United Kingdom. He is so excited! If you included a return address, expect a thank you card from him in the com...

Meet Odin

When my husband and I moved at the beginning of the year, we went from a tiny place in the middle of Little Rock to a sprawling 2.5 acres, located in a tiny community outside of Little Rock. We absolutely love the house, the space, the neighbors, even the little pond across the road that attracts giant, man-eating bugs of all varieties. But, as previously discussed, I'm not a "can be safely left alone" kind of girl, so the husband and I contemplated getting a big dog to keep me...

Old Enough: Part One #newadult #romance #serial

Two years ago, I stumbled across a fanfiction contest I couldn't resist entering. Your story had to be based on one of a number of photographs, but it could take any direction you so chose. I selected a picture of a group settled around a campfire on the beach, with one lone girl off by herself.

The story won second place in the contest. Just recently, the story began to make its way through the FF community again. With FALL complete, I decided to take a second look at the story. I've spe...

Teaser Tuesday: #FALL (The Ragnarok Prophesies: Book Two)

Hello, my loves!

Could that be? Is Ayden really updating her blog?

I know, y'all. I suck at this whole doing fifteen different things at once thang, but I promise my long silence has been for good reason.

I've been busily chipping away at FALL (Book Two). I finished the book several weeks ago, and have spent the last several weeks going over it again and again, driving my pre-readers insane, ignoring the hubby, etc. And I've done as much as I can do without another set of eyes. So FALL...

The Charge by @SharonBayliss: Your #CQPromo Deal of the Day!

Well, loves,

It looks like Curiosity Quills' leprechaun is on a serious bender. He's been swigging straight from the bottle since Sunday, and he's showing no signs of slowing anytime soon. While this may be terrible news for his liver (and the rest of his teeny weeny little leprechaun body), it's good news for you. I have another fabulous book to share with you today. The Charge by Sharon Bayliss is a shiny new release, and it's only 99 cents on Amazon. Can I get a woohoo?!

Summary: W...

18 Things by @JamieMAyres: Your #CQPromo Deal of the Day

Hello, lovelies,

Curiosity Quills' leprechaun has definitely over imbided. Last time I saw him, he was clog dancing his way through Mecca Amazon's warehouse with a pricing gun and a serious case of the giggles. This is good news for you, because 18 Things by Jamie Ayres is one of the wonderful Curiosity Quills titles he's slashed prices on... and I have all the details for you!

Summary: Can eighteen things save a life?

Olga Gay Worontzoff thinks her biggest problems are an awful name and not att...
