For death could not claim, the enchanting Lenore.

Instead, she discovers the lines between fact and fiction are blurring once more. Croaking ravens. Telltale hearts. Could the works of Poe be coming to pass with handsome Wall Street Midas Ridley Peolte as their unwilling target?
She walks the Earth, a plague on mankind,
searching for he, her rotted heart doth pine.
Together, the two unknowingly release a dark force death itself could not tame. Surrounded by the unrelenting violence and mayhem they’ve unleashed, Ireland feels her control over the Horseman slipping. Before the beast within consumes her, she and her crew must follow the clues of the dead to right a centuries’ old wrong. Will it be enough to sate the Horseman’s appetite?
Hell hath no fury like a ghoul scorned.

Who We Were
A Contemporary Romance Novel
By Christy Sloat
Christy Sloat usually dives into the paranormal realm when it comes to her books. She gave us; The Past Lives Series and her bestselling trilogy, The Visitors Series. But one night she was trying to sleep and ignore the idea of a book that was beginning to haunt her. She threw off the covers and decided to write the layout of Who We Were, a novel about a young girl who finds out how one simple alteration in her summer could change her life forever.
Sloat wrote the book in under three months and is very happy to be able to say she has added a contemporary romance to her line up of books.
Here is the long awaited cover for Who We Were. Get the standalone novel September 15th published by Anchor Group Publishing.

About Who We Were
“Who we were had washed away with the summer. Who we are was yet to be seen.”
Summer school at Alcott High was only supposed to gain Sadie Peters extra credit, nothing more. Her goal wasn’t to make friends, or gain the attention of the most popular football player, yet she managed both. Her life was cruising along on course … until that summer.
Could a simple stint in a different school change her identity completely and introduce her to love for the first time? How would that affect her relationship with Lily, her best friend?
Hopefully their friendship was strong enough to make it through the tumultuous summer. Sadie learns that great things come with change, but sometimes memories of the past are hardest to part with.

Queen of Someday by Sherry Ficklin (Video Trailer Reveal)
li
I am super excited to finally reveal the book trailer for
Queen of Someday: A Stolen Empire Novel
Before she can become the greatest empress in history, fifteen-year-old Sophie will have to survive her social-climbing mother’s quest to put her on the throne of Russia—at any cost.
Imperial Court holds dangers like nothing Sophie has ever faced before. In the heart of St. Petersburg, surviving means navigating the political, romantic, and religious demands of the bitter Empress Elizabeth and her handsome, but sadistic nephew, Peter. Determined to save her impoverished family—and herself—Sophie vows to do whatever is necessary to thrive in her new surroundings. But an attempt on her life and an unexpected attraction threatens to derail her plans.
Alone in a new and dangerous world, learning who to trust and who to charm may mean the difference between becoming queen and being sent home in shame to marry her lecherous uncle. With traitors and murderers lurking around every corner, her very life hangs in the balance. Betrothed to one man but falling in love with another, Sophie will need to decide how much she’s willing to sacrifice in order to become the empress she is destined to be.
What people are saying about Queen of Someday:
“Love, betrayal, adventure and hard decisions that have no “right answer”… Russian Court is an exercise in “survival of the fittest” and Queen of Someday is a beautiful start to the journey of an innocent young girl growing into one of the greatest leaders of all time.” ~June Stevens, author
“I was caught hook, line and sinker with this novel about a young girl’s battle in a world that seems perfect on the surface, but is sinister and twisted underneath. I think one of the reasons I loved this book so much is because there was no fantasy or paranormal element the book. I would have loved it just as much if there had been, but to see that somewhere seemingly so safe could be so deadly, without a hint of magic or witchcraft, was haunting.” ~Bonfire Book Reviews
“Queen of Someday” is a guilty pleasure read. Just like CW shows and Lifetime movies, it’s full of drama, scandal and betrayal. And I just couldn’t look away. I found myself gasping and grinning maniacally at every turn. Sophie’s schemes delighted me in a way that made me question my own sanity. I enjoyed “Queen of Someday” in the same way that one enjoys CW shows; the melodrama is strangely addictive, but I’m embarrassed to admit exactly how much I enjoyed it.” ~The Nerdy Journalist reviews
And be sure to enter the giveaway!
Can’t wait to see more? Queen of Someday is available for pre-order here, and will be available everywhere October 7th 2014.

I’m so excited about my first ever Teespring campaign. For those who aren’t familiar with it, Teespring is simply a site that allows sellers to create custom products and sell them using their platform. We only need 15 t-shirts reserved by September 1st in order for the shirts to be printed and shipped. The great thing about Teespring is that your credit card isn’t charged until the day the campaign ends, and only if we reach our goal of 15 shirts.
