There are a lot of great books available for teaching children how to learn to tie shoes and other things. This list puts the best of them all in one place. However, tying shoes is not the only thing kids will eventually need to learn to tie.
There are sailors knots and fishing knots and camping knots. There are knots for knitting and sewing and crafting. There are working knots and decorative knots and playful knots in balloon art. This is a book that should be on everyone’s shelf. Especially if you have boys that need to learn how to tie a tie. This book affords so many wonderful learning and bonding opportunities for both the child and the parent! I know that for many people the art of tying a tie is all but dead, it shouldn’t be. You never know when this knowledge will come in handy. In today’s society we have become lax in our dress code, I believe in comfort, but I also believe in dressing for success. This book helps to teach that also.
Teach your child from a young age… not only will this book teach the art of tie tying, but it will teach persistence, independence, and manual dexterity. Your child will love the little adventure the rabbit and the fox go on, the rabbit runs through the woods to escape the hungry fox, and the chase mimics the motion of tying a tie. This is a brilliant idea! The author of this book uses Mnemonics to teach, this helps the child to learn by associating the motions of tie tying with words, phrases, or sentences that have been designed to help you remember.
Have fun with your child, learn together! This is an enchanting and well thought out book filled with exceptional illustrations. I have spent many years working with young children, and this book is very easy to use and understand.
I wish we had this book years ago when I worked at a daycare. It would have been an amazing tool for mastering manual dexterity. Learning to Tie a Tie with The Rabbit and The Fox uses illustrations to get the point across, with few words. Books are excellent teachers; they do not always need to rely on words to get their point across. The rabbit and the fox help to teach the basic “school boy knot” in a way that makes learning fun. The story is a picture story, written by Sybrina for the children. The story is explained through cute and bright pictures and very few words. The story has a lesson in it. It is always easy to teach a lesson through a picture book. The author has beautifully taught children that nothing in life is difficult and you can always learn when you have the will to do it. The book is lot of fun and includes both human and animal characters that interests young children who are in their learning age. In today’s time, every one is following free and funky style.

Never Too Early To Learn How To Tie A Tie
When do you think most men start sporting neck ties? Perhaps when they start going on dates? When they get married? Maybe even at their high school prom? Situations and opportunities present themselves all the time where boys and men want to or need to wear a neck tie. In fact, most people are surprised to learn that more and more boys are being presented with an opportunity or occasion where wearing a neck tie would be extremely appropriate.
Now, how many fully grown men do you think actually know how to tie a neck tie? Most people are surprised to learn that most surveys indicate that only 50 to 60 percent of the male population knows how to tie a neck tie. In fact, most men prefer to wear clip-on neckties or bowties because they are easier or more convenient. They claim that tying a neck tie is frustrating and time consuming. Even some professional businessmen prefer to use bowties or clip-ons. Some of them even opt for having someone else prepare their neckties for them.
There is nothing more frustrating that getting invited to a business attire event as a preteen or teenager, being told you have to wear a neck tie, and having no idea how to tie it. What makes matters more frustrating is when you are being raised by a single mother or perhaps a mother and father that have no idea how to tie a neck tie. What is a boy supposed to do when they do not have any friends or family members that know how to tie a neck tie, but they need to wear one? What about when a man reaches adulthood and lands a job that requires wearing neckties, but never learned how to tie them?
The unfortunate truth is that not everyone turns to clips on bowties because they are lazy. They turn to them because no one ever took the time to show them the art of tying a neck tie. What if tying a neck tie didn’t have to be such a frustrating or defeating task?
It is common knowledge that the brain of a child is a lot like a sponge. It soaks up information and knowledge a lot easier than the brain of an adult. This is why it is easier for children to learn how to read, write, and speak other languages than it would be for an adult. For this reason it can be extremely beneficial for boys to learn how to tie a tie when they are still very young. In fact, some people think that there is nothing wrong with teaching a child how to tie a neck tie while you are teaching them how to tie their shoes. After all, it is the same general concept right?

Ties can add personality to any boy’s attire
If one looks at the fashion industry one will see that there are more and more ties coming into the mix. This is a great thing for the tie industry as the market has expanded from the grown business man to the younger crowd and even boy’s clothing. Because of this the designs as well as the way that the ties are worn has grown in its variety. No longer are ties considered just something to wear to the office or to a business interview. Now, ties bring a statement forward about the personality of the individual wearing them. Where it is true that the tie has a place of dominance in the formal and upscale events division of our lives, ties can serve as a day to day accessory to a shirt regardless of the events planned for the day.
Ties have always given a sense of class to the individual wearing them. The black tie on a white shirt is a classic look that screams elegance. However, for a boy this is probably not a look that will be most favored. Blues and patterns are in and make a much more unique look than the common colored tie. If the boy does not like the traditional silk make of a tie then he can go with a new material such as the woven tie (which is growing in popularity). A boy can even sport his favorite comic book hero in his attire and look sharp doing it.
